Just when I thought Lovebites couldn't get any better, Fami comes in and brings them to a whole new level. Her bass lines are off the charts insane.
She is the perfect fit to band. If you watch the interview from miho in the heavier japan channel, you'll get some hint of why she leaves lovebites. Different direction, different goal. She's not into playing at an extreme skill level( i guess it's very pressuring to). Nothing wrong with that either. Mean while midori & miyako keep on upgrading their skills and off course fami is the talent they need...young & still very long journey ahead.
In that 2 part interview it was easy to read between the lines to know Miho was not on board with Miyako and Asami(who are really setting the direction of the band).
It had nothing to do with her personal life, she was getting outvoted and was unwilling to go with them.
Fami is something else. The new Lovebites is better and I expect them to be bigger than ever.
Not a whole new level they are and have been in the same level Fami only brings in a very different dimension

Why does everyone talk about how talented they are...they are skilled, they've worked hard, a lot...I mean a lot of hours of practice and practice. That's why they're so awesome!
Inherently gifted and talented as if they were born to be musicians. Practice obviously makes perfect, in their case, it solidifies it.
Because they ARE talented!!! That not only takes skill, but natural talent as well. Even Asami’s vocals have gotten much more crisp!!! She’s got a natural singing talent!!!

@@schelin1447 True, but I think a lot of people use the term "talented" to mean ability + skill, which comes from putting in the work. Lovebites musicians are all dedicated to their craft. They certainly do have skill, talent, and ability! "Talent" can also be applied to young prodigy artists. Miyako is certainly one, and so is Li-sa-X. They started young, and they excelled quickly. Hal-Ca is another one.
They are skillde musicans and use there skills to do awsome music on a epic level. They have practis och done hard worke to be this skillde

Thanks for the reaction. Fami is only 20 years old. She sings, plays bass, keyboards, guitar, writes songs. Fami recorded a solo album that she dedicated to graduating from school.
Midori is also a fitness competitor who was still in contest shape. Respect.

I'm loving that Fami's bass is audible in the mix. Sometimes I felt Miho's bass was a little too far back in the mix.
Absolutely. Listen to old Destrose and Miho's bass was loud and clear, but she was always buried too much in the Lovebites mix. That has always been my pet peeve with Lovebites production, it's Metallica syndrome if you know what I mean. I feel like this song was intended to really feature Fami , but I hope they don't bury her in songs where she's not doing as much technical work, if there are any.
@@satomiwa Completely agree with you. Fami is an exceptional bassist and don't want her to get buried like Miho was in the past. Great mixing in this song hopebit stays that way. 🤘🐺🔥

I'm surprised to hear anyone say Asami's vocals are getting better. I only recently discovered the band, but I have gone back and binged everything they have done since the beginning and Asami's vocals have always been incredible. I think the reason why it seems as though her vocals are better is because she is getting better at singing in english. Her ununciation of her words is so much better, so it improves her overall tone. That's my take anyway.

Hell Yeah!!!! Agree with you on Miho, and Fami. As well on needing to see Lovebites live. Feeling the power from each member through the amps is something no live cd and reproduce. However their Invitation To The Theater live cd does an excellent job capturing the audience power. With each listen, I feel like I'm there. Can't wait for the new album.

Thanks Jen for getting to this so quickly. I have to say, honestly, they have already overtaken Dragonforce. The guys are great, and fast and technical, but Lovebites are every bit as good, and they write better, more beautiful songs. It's a hard combination to beat!

I've now watched this music video at least 4 times today and I love the song more and more each view. They all brought it and Fami definitely seems like an outstanding fit for the band. I love that they featured her at the beginning by having bass at the forefront.

I think you would really like to listen to Chase Holfelder. Something MORE DIFFERENT than anything you've done yet...I promise! Since it's Christmas...you could listen to his Cover of "All I want for Christmas." If you want GOOSE BUMPS go for "The Star Spangled Banner" or "My Country Tis of Thee." Chase Holfelder is one of the most Unique and Creative singers I've heard!

I just disagree when you say that they are a Power Metal band, I think Lovebites is not atatched in only this genre, they do everything when we talk of classic styles of heavy metal and bring with a nice modern touch. For the all that you said in general I agree! Cheers!

Yes. When LOVEBITES started, the main genre was power metal. Today LOVEBITES is bigger and wider than the power, speed, thrash metal they played in the early years of the band.
@@GrayFox14 Disagree, you listen to their first ep, it's more on the Heavy Metal side then Power Metal.
