- The Colorado Rockies are stuck in a bad spot. In a division they've never won in their 30 year history and it's not getting any easier. The Dodgers have Shohei and others with an endless payroll, the Diamondbacks just won the NL and have a young team only getting better, and the Padres have major star power themselves.
So it's time to try something completely new to try and overcome these odds: A Draft Only Rebuild.
A staple of the channel, the Draft Only Rebuild challenges us to build the team up using only the Rookie and Rule 5 drafts after we tear down the ENTIRE 40 man roster after the first season.
One major twist added for this year: Trades. I am allowing 3 trades in this series, but only for prospects, and only for one prospect per trade. So we will need to time them right and make sure they hit to ensure we don't waste them.

Rafael Morillo has 131 career home runs already, the dude is 22 years old, and is a 98 overall… HOF numbers early
Yeah I've probably not given as much attention to that as I should. Probably because of my series last year, and everyone in it regressing so fast that none of them could make it to the HOF. But Morillo is better than anyone I had last year.

A lot of draft picks making it to the big leagues these last couple years and they're playing about as well as I could hope for.

Our team is coming together and I think the potential is massive.
I feel like way more was given up in that trade then necessary. Unless Pringle has like 95 potential or higher.
I did it on purpose. I talked about it when I did the trade. And I think he does have 95 potential.
