After the Saints No-Call, the NFL pretended to implement a rule to prevent such shenanigans, but it was poorly applied - challenges were never upheld even if they were obviously missed - and that rule was quickly abandoned. I don’t know why, maybe I enjoy dissapointment, but regardless I watch them every week. I really fell in love with your city. I’ve always heard Detroit is a war zone and honestly, compared to omaha, it just seems bigger. Not worse, not better, just bigger. I recently went back again and visited downtown and bars around there, and I love the people of Detroit. Hardworking people with basically no concept of racial barriers or really any racial issue at all. Just me my brother and about 15 trade workers taking shots all night. God bless Detroit, everyone claims New York or LA or Atlanta or chicago are the city’s where you understand America but no. It’s Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati Baltimore. That’s where you really understand what America is. I had one of the best times of my life in Detroit, and it’s why I still watch the lions every week.

He announced it was a PI, the ball was moved, then everything stopped. Suddenly everyone started walking back 20 yards. There was NO PA announcement from the officials or Dallas guy. No one in the stadium, nor the teams, had a clue what was going on. It was never explained. During all this the big screens were showing the replay, which was BLATANT PI. After the game, wearing my Barry jersey, I even had Cowboys fans come up to me saying good game and we got screwed. It was that blatant. One thing you missed about the Lions vs Dallas playoff game was that when the flag was thrown, Dez Bryant ran onto the field without a helmet, which is a personal foul, to yell at the refs for throwing the flag. The ref decided not to flag Bryant and also pick up the PI flag. Completely egregious call, and IMO is the reason the NFL overturned the "Dez Caught It" play. I dont think it has anything to do with the league loving Rogers, I think its that everyone was talking about how rigged Dallas vs Lions was, and did not want Dallas to then go on a run.

The Saints PI was the most blatant to me. Being from Louisiana, I was shocked that the game was allowed to continue by the fans. I'm a Niner and I have a healthy rivalry with my family, who are Saints fans and I refused to watch the Superbowl that year. It's one thing to be out of position and miss a call, but to be there watching and not call a blatant PI? That's where the fans should have rushed the field and stayed until the call was reversed by Goodell, who has that power.

As for the Bottlegate game: The NFL made it up to the Browns in 2007 in a game against the Ravens. In overtime, the Browns kicked what looked to be a double doink missed field goal, and the Ravens took over on downs and ran an offensive play. The refs then reviewed the field goal, after the Ravens had already run another play, and they changed the call because of where the second doink hit the crossbar, effectively giving the Browns the win.

    • @bdawg4231

No... This isn't what happened at all.. Here's what actually happened: The Browns marched down the field in the 4th qtr trailing 30-27 - with 3 seconds to go in the game Dawson hits the 51 yard double doink to send the game into overtime. There was ZERO time on the clock - The Ravens never got the ball back to run an offensive play, nor did they run another play after that... lol - how could you be so wrong on this???? The Browns got the ball in over time and marched right down the field kicking the game winner right through the uprights.

And, at this point, the people who refuse to see it are actually refusing to see it. I'm not being sarcastic. I'll never understand why so many people straight up want to be lied to. Why doesn't everyone have an innate desire to uncover the truth behind everything? Because they are afraid of what the herd will do to them once they espouse skepticism for things that are largely considered fully legit by the media and/or various millionaires & billionaires etc.
Example: The mainstream idea is that there is no sports tampering happening in any sport (except maybe boxing), so you too need to espouse this idea to fit in. Any deviation from that line of reasoning will be met with public shaming and ridicule.
And these people willingly live that life anyway. I've tried to explain to them that once you leave the herd, the herd will largely forget about you eventually, especially if you stay quiet, but they don't get it. They don't even know they have a deathgrip on their herd membership in the first place.

The "Fail Mary" was a good call by the letter of the rule. It doesn't matter who gets hands on the ball first, when everyone is still in the air. It isn't a catch, until you come down with it and complete it through contact with the ground, and by that time it was possessed by both the offensive and defensive player. Shared possession goes to the offense. It may suck, but that's the rule.

The most ignored rigging was the 2013 NFCCG. Refs made about 20 points worth of mistakes in Seattle's favor. It was a 1 sided variety platter. Bad spots, blown roughing the punter no call, overturned 49ers TD despite the ball clearly crossing the goal, the Bowman forced fumble they stole back, the playclock shenanigans where on key 3rd downs SF only got 20 seconds between plays, blown helmet to helmet call that was shoulder to shoulder, ignored helmet to helmet calls (plural) when the roles were reversed, & then finally the killshot & most inexplicable underreported screw up in ref history. On Russell Wilson's game winning TD pass, the ref blew the whistle pre snap... The 49ers defense stands up looking around for what the whistle was about while the Seattle WR runs free to the end zone & Wilson has all day because the pass rush was stalled by the whistle.

Ha now it's just plan and simple,Brady bratt fumbled the dam ball away now.can't you see that on instance replay, and I am a raders fan ever since thay were first formed back in the 1960's.ive watch ever super bowl thats ever been played so far in the history of this world as of now.and in that time tom Brady bratt has to be the biggest asshole and cheater of all time,he's no Joe Montana now.because Joe Montana played when the NFL was real football with real hits, and not the Powerpuff NFL as it is today.if I had a NFL football team and my 2 qb's were Brady bratt and tim Tebow,I'd chose Tebow as my qb and not Brady bratt period now.the night that Brady bratt fumbled away that ball was the night that NFL football became the Powerpuff league.and will be until low lifes like him quite cheating and paying off refs and officials to fix his football's for him and quit spying on other teams for him to now!!!!!

This video implies that the tuck rule was invoked because it involved Brady and the Patriots, but this was Brady's first year as a starting quarterback and the Patriots had yet to win a SuperBowl, so I doubt there was any Brady/Patriot favoritism at that time. Of course, there might have been an anti-Oakland sentiment, but any Brady/Patriot love wouldn't manifest itself for a few more years.

Funny thing is...the “regular” referees were reinstated over that Fail-Mary call, only for THEM to immediately make a half-dozen BS calls the following week that put that to shame! The regular referees in both NFL & NBA are ALL on the take from their own “sports” Commissioners, providing whichever outcome is desired. That’s WHY instant replay rarely actually CORRECTS easily seen mistakes, also why those Leagues file taxes as “Entertainment”, EXACTLY like the Wrestling organizations do. Otherwise, they could be sued for scripting the game.

Super Bowl III was sour grapes. After Bubba Smith wrote his book, Namath got so sick of the accusations of the game being rigged that when he was on a plane with Bubba, he told him, "You had a bad game in Super Bowl III, so if there was a fix, you were in on it, too." That shut Bubba up.

Anyone can speculate anything. I can say that the Kardashians are secretly planning world dominance, that doesn't mean the word is out. Nobody has actually figured out whether the league is rigged or not and if it is to what extent. People have only shared their theories and spoken their mind. Perhaps I should've said proof being leaked, people speaking up etc. . Some of the things that have been speculated are improbable to scheme and impossible to keep quiet.

The browns game against Kansas City in the playoffs had one of the worst missed calls I've ever seen. The missed targeting call at the goal line that not only stopped the browns from scoring but gave the Chiefs the ball back basically killed the Brown's best chance at a Superbowl in years.
