controversies to the point where you can’t help but ask yourself: Are some of these games
    being rigged?
Not saying every big game is rigged, but here are 10 such Super Bowl games where things
were fishy enough to have you wondering if the fix was indeed in.

The issue with this claim is that a team is quite capable of beating the other team as the refs. For example how the hell would you be able to rig that Super Bowl for the broncos to beat the Seahawks? You would have to throw a flag on every down

NO commissioner is in charge, remember how they get to be commissioner ? The OWNERS put him there, and the tail doesn't wag the dog. Super Bowl 3 (Colts-Jets) was definitely a FIX, Colts 17 point favorites, led by MVP Earl Morrall, who threw 3 interceptions in the 2nd quarter, 2 in the red zone; and on a play designed to get Jimmy Orr wide open, which he was, Morrall doesn't even look his way since it was time for him to throw his 3rd interception in the quarter. Colts owner Rosenbloom was a notorious gambler, he even had the Colts go for a td in the 1958 Championship even though in sudden death they had a chip shot field goal....why ? since the spread was 4 points and a fg winning the title would have meant the bum lost his bet. NFL title in 1958 and SB 3, Rosenbloom had big bets and manipulated his team so he made the big $$$ ...later on this wonderful sportsman who was an expert swimmer drowns, and many say he messed with the wrong people with his bets and they took the bum out.

It seems silly that human error can even have an effect on the game of football when the technology exists to eliminate it entirely. If AWS can collect so much "next gen stats" without any changes to NFL equipment, imagine what could be done with minor additions of gps sensors to the ball and a few sensors in the equipment that players wear. The blackout bowl is an interesting one, because while the blackout threw momentum in the 9ers favor, there were many egregious ref non-calls that benefitted the Ravens throughout the 2nd half, including blatant holding across the Oline on the fake-punt (when they took the safety on purpose to kill the clock) toward the end. Definitely a dumpster fire of a game all around.

Blackout Bowl was to get Niners back in the game, but they weren't supposed to win and they didn't. So that game still got the rightful winner, the rigged part was to make the game close instead of a blowout and that's what they did.

yeah, the holding everyone and taking a safety to run out the clock, is not the refs being biased and not calling a penalty. That's just a loophole in the rules.
Rules say if there is a penalty then there is still another play even if the clock ran out, but not unless the penalty is on a scoring play. SO by holding and taking a safety, the holding team gives the other team 2 points and even thou the clock ran out on a penalty, it was a scoring play so the penalty doesn't matter and game over.

They was up 10 with 7 something left when that play happened on 3rd and 15 it was a 44 yard gain that sparked the comeback. Without that it's very unlikely the 49ers don't win. At the end of the ravens game they got screwed too. I don't understand everyone whining about the lights like the lights going off and getting 30 min break only benefitted the 49ers and not the ravens or something. They took the 2nd half kickoff back to make it 28-6 then the lights went off soon after. Maybe the 49ers simply made halftime adjustments we see it all the time where a game is a tale of two halves I don't understand how people think turning the lights off somehow swung the momentum when it happened right after halftime anyways. It was like an even longer half than normal. To me I think the 9ers just made halftime adjustments and came back and it had little if anything to do with the power outage. Now the play at the end on 4th and 5 was blatant as hell and they held the flag essentially stripping the 49ers of another Lombardi that is 2 in the last 10 years. 9ers haven't faired well in Goodells tenure.
