"I like meat with extra meat!" It took me a while to realize this line came from the same guy who, prior to this, was seen eating vegetables and hummus during a banquet where everyone else was eating fancy foods.
I honestly think it would have been amusing and reversing of what's expected if they'd switched it up since he seems to be the more vegan one and Madelena the carnivore

Its a shame I have only learn about this series a few days ago. This idea of a "musical comedy" is so original on tv, and has so good and funny music that is sad to know they canceled. This only proves that when something(or someone) is good not necesarily is going to succeed, because sadly your depend of the opinion or the people that employs you and the favor of others 😒

There's also the fact that a lot of shows are cancelled before they can have season 3, because during the 3rd season, actors are more likely to argue for a raise (they are setting aside a lot of time for the show, after all).
They had a finished story though. Third season might have felt forced

Thankfully, Alan Menken is totally open to doing a stage musical. It just has to be a continuation of the story. There wouldn't be so much lead in to a bigger plot at the end of the series if that wasn't what the writers had in mind.
I think it ended when it should have. I loved the show and still watch it, but there's only so far the story can go, and it did tie up very nicely.
It's not clear for the first, but if we think a bit more about this, it becomes obvious, that whitout Sid's 'help' Gareth and Madalena never would come together the way they do it in the end...
Sidney is an overly underrated character in this series.

My sister started crying because she thought Sid was dead and for the longest time she wouldn't watch Galavant because of it.

Yeah, that line was really weird since she usually scarfs down meat whenever she can. I get that they're trying to emphazie their differences but it's just poor continuity,
Vegan dinners, however meat is welcome at breakfast, lunch, and any snacks.
Brandon Prather i dont think she's saying she's vegan, she just prefers vegan dinners at night. Light meals at night usually help with better sleep quality.

It's an older show called Galavant. It's a musical comedy series that ran for 2 seasons before it was cancelled. Largely due to a lack of advertising and a horrible time slot to air.
It's a very self-aware show that parodied basically ever medieval fantasy and took a battering ram to the 4th wall.
Galavant, it's hilarious, give it a check.
This is when I started shipping it.

They are my *romantic* OTP for the show, but I think while Madalena was clearly a strong woman and were realizing her ambition, she really wanted to be domineered deep down. But her beauty was so great it became a curse so her kink (idk) was never enjoyed for long. And the men who she had an actual relationship with sooner rather than later were deciding by themselves that she was 'the one', lose what she was attracted to and would start acting like a pliant lovesick puppies.
This is like Donald and Melania Trumps first day in white houses office:D and it ends same too:D
