they really just skipped over the MJ wizards years?
This is perfect best thing ever done nowing full schedule👍
How y’all don’t even ask about the big trade From the Pistons, the Wizard years and playing with Jordan. SMH 🤦🏾♂️
We Want Brandon Jennings Next.
Jack and matt are bitches they didnt ask about the jeff hornacek fight smfh
Growing up, my dads company cleaned all the glass at The Palace. He took me to meet Jerry Stackhouse like 5 times. He was always so nice and remembered me every time. As a kid he made me feel super special and important by just knowing my name after meeting him once. I still got a ball and hat he signed for me!
Fives times? That's nice.
@@Doknot-tb9ey Yeah The Palace was a big contract for my dads company so he was onsite like once a month when the cleanings happened to make sure stuff was perfect. I was a quiet kid so he always let me tag along on stuff like that. I was lucky to be there durring many practices and all that. So had a lot of chances to meet players back then.
My dad was a big car guy. I remember once we showed up in a old royal blue Mini Cooper. Stackhouse LOVED IT, i still got some pictures of him sitting in it and checking it out.
Again, he was a hell of a nice guy when i met him. Been a fan ever since.
@@Ryy_Ryy Cool story, obviously awesome memories.
Your pops is a good dad
I played against Stackhouse in high school before he went to Oak Hill. He was unstoppable at 15 years old. i wish youtube was around back then to capture how explosive he was.
Wow
Him and Jeff Mcinnis was the shit back then coming out of NC
oh yeah, I bet your was nice as hell you was like that
Shout out Jerry Stackhouse, my favorite Piston of all time! Both wore 42 and share the same bday
Happy belated Stack!
Trading for Rip was the best thing we ever did as a franchise
I used all my birthday money on a Jerry Stackhouse North Carolina Jersey from the East Bay magazine back in the day 😂
Money well spent lol
Him and A.I. could've been something special.
Great job Matt & Staks on having Jerry Stackhouse on the smoke. Great history on his background n a tremendous player to c play. Thanks Jerry.
I never saw Stackhouse play and that's crazy. I never even watched highlights of him and everybody said he was cold. Definitely gonna watch his highlights after this one
Stack was a bucket
The wildest part about listening to Jerry Stackhouse is you can hear even in his tone, mannerisms, and gestures parts of MJ! Great interview!
🙄
What the fuck you talking bout
@@darnellplan5015 think I explained it clown.
How so, I don't see nothing like MJ, all brothers talk like they in the hood
Black
The Kid definitely watching this on lunch break
Shid I’m watching at work
@@maddmacctv9261 driving the rig through Agoura Cali at the moment
Lunchhh ganggg
Call out bro
Lighting one up watching this one lol
I love all my Tarheels! Major respect to Stackhouse..
Mane that’s crazy! I got the same earring story from my moms. 😂😂😂😂 I came home with an earring and showed mom a pic of MJ with the hoop earrings. She said if MJ has one it must be ok. 🐐
NC in the house ✊🏼 Growing up in Carolina, basketball is everything. That Tar Heel/Blue Devil, Dean Smith/Coach K rivalry made some of the best games I’ve ever watched. There’s something to be said for that in-person experience. It’s def something for the books.
Yes! This is the one I've wanted to hear for a while! Glad the guys got him in the studio!
Stack house was one of the best scorers in early 2000’s
Aww man I was in highschool when Stack put down that nasty reverse on Duke! He seems like a really grounded dude. Great to hear his story and success after the league
It’s crazy cuz he sounds exactly like MJ too 😂
Felt like this interview was too short. Wish he would of talked about his relationship with Brandon Ingram & how he became his mentor. B.I. says he wouldn't be the player he is if Stackhouse wasn't pushing em as a kid
Great episode! One of my biggest regrets was not goin up and meeting him at summer league, I didn’t wanna bother him
2000s best Era of basketball
2000's was the last great decade period bro. Then tech and social media got out of control and ruined everything and humans lost real connection and touch.
252 representing in this interview heavy.
Stackhouse low key sounds like Mike & Kobe with that Baratone booster
I need Matt and Stack tell us how many takes they go through before they get these Manscape Ads because whoever writes these Ads needs an Award, I'm dieing with these Ads 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Stackhouse and AI long term would’ve been legendary
Kinston’s finest!! 252
252 all day everyday
As a former Basketball card collector, i was in love with any and all Jerry Stackhouse cards!
Jerry Stackhouse. Once number 42 for the Detroit Pistons! "Deeetroit Basketball!!!"
Jewels dropped ! Had no clue about the dean smith coaching tree 💯
Another dope episode, stackhouse a household name (pun intended) also definitely need MJ on the show 🔥🔥
Remember Stackhouse 2 piece Jeff hornacek 🤣🤣🤣
he folded corliss williamson & others too
"Momma might like em, let me get thoughs back" 🤣🤣🤣✊🏾💪🏾💯
I played against Stackhouse in high school(J.H. Rose High) when he was at Kinston. He was a Beast!!! The brother was big as hell!!!
It's something in the BBQ in Kinston since they pump out ballplayers like water.
He came to Wilson and shut the whole gym down!
FACTS... ITS IN THE WATER HERE...KTOWN

@@ricofisher8470 I'm from 252 as well (Northampton County) and I was reared on Eastern NC BBQ. Ralph's BBQ (Weldon NC) was the restaurant my family went to since I was a little boy.
Jerry stackhouse 🐐42
Matt Barnes is on the Lowe Post, time to return the favor and bring Lowe on All the Smoke. I think he also has great (Kobe) Storys to tell
That was another excellent and informative interview. Great that you both allow your guest space to speak freely and expand on their thoughts as the go along.
It provides us the viewers that rarest of opportunities to see a glimpse of these vaulted individual's personalities.
Sorta like understanding what was / is the fuel, motivation which drove them to their successful outcomes.
Love ya stak! R.I.P to yo lil bro Snap big homie😢 mad love and prayers to your family 💯 🙏🏽🙏🏽
He sound just like Vernon Maxwell Im cracking up
Totally missed the ball not talking about his time with the Wizards and MJ. He is on record saying he wished he never played with MJ. That’s something to talk about.
He said he wish he didn't play in Washington at all. He didn't want to leave Detroit
Could've asked him more about Dirk, more about Jordan, his time with the Mavs as the consummate high scoring sixth man etc. This was too short.
The real Stack 💯 one of favorite players in the 90's and early 00's
Love STACK! Great episode.
MJ , Donovan Mitchell, , Sidney Moncrief , Hakeem Oljauwon, Cedric The Entertainer, Martin Lawrence, T.I , Pusha T , Dave Chappelle are the guests I'm requesting for the show as a fan
Bro I been waiting for someone to get Stack on an interview and I’m glad it was you guys!
Stack always remind me of mikai phifer LMAO 🤣
Finally Stack!!
The way they reading those manscaped ads got me dying 😂😂😂
Been waiting on this one!!!!
The comments on MJ were eye opening. I used to think they had beef but nice to hear it's all love.
Peace... Great Interview... Legend🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀
They get MJ for an interview even for 30 minutes will break records in this kind of platform.
If they got 20 minutes it would break records
Awesome 👌🏿
"P with the no look, like Iverson and Stackhouse!"
Great interview. Stackhouse was one of my favorite players.
stackhous a real brotha mane, 4sho ✊🏿...certified hoopa too
Always Gone LIVE! Jus got thru watching Boosie full live bday shout-out and now I'm here tapping in
Stackhouse is very articulate, I enjoyed this.
I wonder how many takes they do for the Manscaped ads? 😂😂😂
Stack, Touché, and Sheed’s era is my favorite UNC era.
Stack..buckets all day.
It'd be great if an interviewer explored his relationship with Allen Iverson more indepth, and whether that could've worked out.
Facts
Stackhouse was a person a lot of people compared my game to also my favorite Tar Heel. #Lets go Tar Heels
A good interview.
Gilbert definitely averaged 29. Stack was a beast💯💯💯💯💯
Need Eddie Jones man
Stack Stack great interview fellas
Dunking on you like Stackhouse!!! 1love
loved him with pistons and wiz
"Sometimes less is more" 💎
I’m 26 but I remember watching stack drop buckets consistently 😮
Huh?
MJ will be a legendary interview
Stack in the house.
one of my fav players
Stack was a bucket people give him a hard time because of his percentages but let’s be real AI shit 42% and won an MVP and Kobe also shot 44. Kinda hard to be efficient when 2 7 footers in the lane every time. Got his red, white and blue pistons jerseys at the crib straight up went to work every night
AI shit 42% 😂
@@russoulfree Kobe was closer to 45% than 44, but you should really take out his last 3 years post achilles tear. He is a 46% or so career shooter when you put it into perspective.
@@Daniel_AurA I was just laughing bcuz of AI 'shit'.. but thanks
@@russoulfree I actually didn't mean to tag you in it. The comment was directed at the dude who posted this.
Stackhouse ain't anywhere close to Kobe or Chuck. There's a reason Philly let him go. Even now, from watching this interview I hear him overrating himself. He just wasn't that good. That one year in Detroit where he scored a lot, he took almost 25 shots to get his almost 30, that's something a lot of players could do. He's a career .409 shooter... AI even at only 6 feet is a career .425 shooter. That's a big difference, especially when you consider the volume of shots.
🔥🔥🔥
Stack chill af
real one !
48:40 he ain’t gon know what ball to dribble 😭😭😂
Love. It..
Being 💯 The STACK 2 Black were my first pair of basketball shoes.
Another great episode. You guys are killing it. All the Smoke is for real.
He played at my high school early 90s him and Jeff McInnis and Oak Hill vs Farrell Steelers
I hope y’all ask him about going behind Vince Carter in 2000 dunk contest!!!
😆😬😆
That's right. He did go after VC. Cheryl Miller said CRICKETS. I Believe.
252. Best area code for basketball hands down.
💪🏾
Love Stack
Stack and Stacks!!!
Shout out to the hill. Proud graduate 🫡
Broo 😮Stackhouse looking more like Kareem damn
I think Stackhouse was a great BIG DOGGIE 💯👣
24:56 Philly talk
Plz get MJ on the show!!!
Go get MJ!
They still in summer league but we a month into the season
I still call him Jerry STEAKhouse 😂
This DOPE!!! Can we have vernon mad max maxwell on here sometime...please.
Gilbert Arenas did one with him. He told a story about Olajuwon that had me in tears!!
Thank god those Warriors took out the Mavs me as a Spurs fan...they took care of them for us!
Dude looks the same as he did when he was playing .
I wish they talked more about his time playing with AI first and then MJ. Two ppl he thought he was better than at the time but had to take a back seat to
I thought he chose #42 because he admired Jackie Robinson
He came out of north Carolina.!
Stack!
Ima get 30 don't care who guarding me , I feel that 💯
DETROIT BASKETBALL❤💙
