Personally I’m glad that they have kept the underbelly exhaust on the off road bikes because it enables uniform saddlebags and zero risk of frying your stuff. I have a VStrom so can have a lot of topbox capacity but these smaller bikes just don’t gel with too much up there.
the footage seems more "kindly granted by KTM" than stolen by chance on the roads (too long and professional)... however it looks really good. Some observations: the frame is white and makes you think of Husqvarna, but the bodywork is all black and the saddle has an orange insert (boh?!); the suspension travel seems to be a maximum of 20 cm, the minimum wage!
Fingers crossed they can keep the seat height of the enduro to within 855 (and the reg ADV lower). I’ll trade my Scram 400 for this in a heartbeat!! 😅

@@bikeroids quite often the test riders are very vary of someone filming them. they ride fast and scoot off or show hand signals to stop recording. Nothing like that is happening here. And the type of tracking shots and closeup all that - its very difficult to belive this was accidental.

Finally a proper dual sport bike, the 390 enduro.
That exhaust isn't the final version i guess because it is tiny and too low. Maybe it will come with a proper high mounted exhaust like the 690 enduro. Excited!
The final version was presented to french dealers last week and it is this exhaust which is on.

Cruise control - traction control - off road ABS etc. Will be available too.

Yes. 19F / 17R on the Adventure
Foot peg looks very rare set. Rest is similar to 2023 with raised handle bar and ground clearence. The seat doesn't look good for long distance travel on highways

Atleast they produced a good bike that you can still be proud of in front of your family. With ugly ktm thats not the case. We'll see how much they'll find a way to rip you off of your wealth by selling only "speed" Compromising everything else. Keep your fingers crossed this engine won't get stalled. It's the reason why most ktm adv owners aren't going adventures. I see him450 everywhere going places.
I think the new Enduro is going to be a hot sale. We so needed something like it for Indian roads!
front end on both bikes look very different - but not able to see the enduro front end that clearly - does it have a different head unit? or both are similar?
By head unit you mean instrumentation or steering head?
Enduro will obv have those tiny digital display like their other enduro bikes

I think those were tubeless spoke wheels, the WP apex suspensions, it doesn't have an aluminium subframe which comes in duke390, I think Enduro has 19" of the front tyre.
Enduro have the skinny tyres, the tyre section and the width is smaller as compared to adv

why on earth an adv kind of motorcycle would not have a proper up sweft exhaust?
My only question to Mr Paradkar: are any of these models with spoked tubeless rims or spoked tubed rims? I want that slightly undersquare engine low RPM advantage over my current 390 Adv but not if I have to think of repairing a tubed puncture at the end of a 700 kms ride, in the dark, in a state of fatigue. I really hope that KTM does not ape the blunder of Honda/Transalp 750 and Suzuki/800 DE with this 390 Adv series.
I m sure ktm will launch an alloy ver of ADV. May be even cheaper...ktm knows that the touring market is important
After this, we're more likely to get glimpse of upcoming 3rd generation RC on indian roads.

Looks much better than the current version of 390 ADVs KTM is offering. That being said, this seems like it is based on it's bigger legendary siblings 790-890 ADVs that are Dakar Rally oriented which is great news! 😄
Current advs are just dukes with different bodies this looks a bit different

I am planning to buy a new bike, i am confused between xtreme 160r 4v and pulsar n160 which bike is more reliable.. because I have to keep the bike for the next 8 yrs minimum and i need a bike which is fun to ride and engaging aswell
I prefer the N160.

That's a very weird exhaust placement for an off road oriented bike, hope it's just the prototype, water will get very easy inside

Filming in public is usually quite legal and free to do, unless you live in North Korea or Bolton, England.

I hope they have paid better attention to aerodynamics that just aesthetics , the turbulence noise off KTM’s and Husky’s is bad at cruising speeds

No. But I think you should be able to retrofit the 21s from the Enduro onto the Adv. without much hassle.
