Force Motors are charging so much basically for the engine, mechanical differential lock, and snorkel. 1. That 2.6 CR engine is highly reliable otherwise commercial users would not use it for decades. 2. That gearbox provided can handle 500 NM of torque. So yes, if required, you can tune the engine in the same power figure (informed by FM official itself). 3. Out of 100, 90 Indians get flattened by the name of differential lock. Most of them don't care whether it's electronically controlled or manual. Thar comes with a electronically operated rear MLD whereas that of Gurkha is manually operated mechanical diff lock. On top of that, it gets three differential locks for the front, the rear and the center differential. In layman's words, just know that only Wrangler comes with this kind of diff locks that Gurkha offers under ₹25 lacs. 4. The snorkel provided is RTO approved that simply omits the hassle to get permission if installed aftermarket. 5. The water wading capacity is 700 mm and can be increased to 900 mm without much fuss. So, in case if anyone is comparing this car with that of Creta, Venue, please look at something else. The interior is surely basic considering the price tag, but it's the least concerning part of the Gurkha. When you'll be on offloading, or overlanding in noman's land, the most you crave for reliability of any feature. Being basic, it just fulfills the criteria. More electronics you have in your car, more headache is there (even Toyota fails in some cases). However, what pissed me off truly is the middle row. I don't have any complaint about the A/C vents on 2nd and 3rd row (they may be outdated but as long as they are functional and reliable, I don't have any issue), but the legroom provided in the middle row is quite cumbersome.

bhai mere dad chetak ke back seat pe cylinder le aate the when delivery was not given at home, and dont always go by bhp, check torque and weight of vehicle too, for eg even with 20 bhp the hunter pulls fast due to its torque at low rpms dont mater how much you load it
