They are playing well. I have come to terms with what offense in MLB is now. If they add a bat and a reliever next month they can beat anyone

how the holy hell have I made it through 29 years of being a baseball fan (14yrs old in ‘95) without knowing who Joe Sheehan is?!?!? He seriously sounds like the John Clayton of baseball. Damn. Good get guys!

Lets not forget the insane amount of 4 and 5 out closes for Munoz this season too.

Which hitter did the Mariners acquire who is going to save us? I missed that trade /acquisition/call up.

I remember 2001. I was a sophomore in high school. It was an amazing year. I remember the 1995 seasons when they first went to the playoffs. That is the season I got into baseball. Now I get to witness another amazing season. Hopefully this year will be different though. Hopefully they can get to and win the World Series. That would be a first that nobody has witnessed ever. I would love to be apart of that.

My opinion on the Andres Munoz 2024 vs 2022 comparison.. I feel like Andres isn't being hit as hard this year and ultimately not giving up runs like he was in 2022. His era was 2.49 last year, nearly a full run higher than it is now. Anyways great show guys!

Mitch still is only hitting .203 in June (which has changed after the Tuesday night game) but in every area but BA he has been SO much better.

it kills me when people take small sample sizes and run with it but ignore larger sample sizes. He is not a bad player...but he is NOT the player he has been in June. I wish he was.

I had to stop and check when he said water is more dense than air. If that was true, this world would look a lot different. Was surprised to find out that humid air is less dense than dry air though, which is what I think he meant to say.
Makes sense if you think about it though, water is two parts hydrogen to one part oxygen and hydrogen is the lightest element. So more water vapor in the air, more hydrogen and less other gasses.

Water is more dense than air.
Hot air rises. Cold air sinks.
Hence why clouds form and rain.

liquid water is, of course, more dense than air, but in order for the atmosphere to absorb moisture, water vapor would need to be lighter than air, or you'd just have an atmosphere with dry air and no clouds, rain, etc. humid air is going to be less dense than dry air because humid air contains water vapor, and water vapor is lighter than air. Additionally, air needs to warm and expand to contain more moisture. Warm air is typically going to be less dense than cool air.

Garver could easily have a July like he had an April and May. I don't think June is what he will always do. That is a high water mark I am sure. Going into the playoffs I want a better more reliable bat than him. Let's not forget (and you two are).....our schedule was much softer in June than it was the first 2 months. And in the playoffs he won't get to feast on poor pitching staffs.
