I live about 80 miles from the Mariners AA farm club. I need to get down there and watch those future stars. Woo is a All Star talent.
I say if Woo keeps it up he is an Allstar
Agreed!
Agree with Lyle - Woo will be an all-star
Woo should be 6-0, 1st start was pulled after 4.1 innings and in Washington and vs LAA the bullpen blew leads of 3 runs and 4 runs
So I’d say he if pitches well his next 5-6 starts before the break I’d say he has a chance to make it
He’s got a real chance!
Logan Evans can absolutely return to the rotation. Ever hear of David Price? Rays used him as a closer his 1st season.
Good call on David Price! We used the Dustin May example. But Price absolutely works here too
Guys I think would be great additions.
PIT- C. Joe and C. Holderman
CHC- M. Tauchman
STL- B. Donovan and R. Helsley
Oh damn! I find myself agreeing with Goldstein about Woo in the AS game!
I don't think Woo would be an All-Star if the trajectory continues, only because the starting pitching in the AL is incredibly deep and dominant so far, so unless 2-3 arms dropped off, Woo could maybe sneak in
The Ms can trade Young and Pete, and still be stacked in the middle infield. They can trade Ford who is blocked through 2027. Those 3 guys can bring back a great deal.
“Michael Conforto is way older than either of us are”
Look up his age.
Six years older than him.
I have turned to dust, thanks Lyle 😂
😂😂
I assume that Issac Paredes is on the A list that wasn't included today. He'd be a move to win now and win in the future.
Not on either list, actually
Ms can't fix Julio's launch angle what makes you think you can fix another planet.
As much as I think we could do it this year, I doubt we make any of these big trades. Mariners are gonna wanna win with guys we have and probably add a guy like Jansen to help with Cal and a buy low reliever. Wouldn’t surprise me if a guy like Rojas/Raley gets flipped too. Our pitchers give us a large window and I think building the dynasty a few years down the road is how they look at it. Just can’t tell me guys like France/Haniger/DMO/Raley/Polanco really would provide World Series offense
Just think most people are past the “few years down the road” approach
@@MarineLayerPod I’m there too, and I do think a big name could be enough to give us a real chance. Just don’t think we have the money/depth/balls to do it just yet. I pray I’m wrong and we get that October run we all need!
Watched my first episode of the podcast today. Glad you guys are doing it. But, I have to ask. I watched how you were both gushing about the Jorge Polanco deal. I was, too. Would you weigh in now about what you think? I felt it was nothing more than a one-year rental when it went down, a typical Jerry De Potato band aid job that will fail. I want Polanco to work out and get extended, but I'm not holding my breath. By the way, where is TJ broadcasting from if he doesn't live around Seattle? Thanks.
Thanks for watching! I think most people had a right to be excited about Polanco when the deal went down, hopefully he turns it around when he gets healthy. Hard to evaluate more until he gets back. Broadcasting from Corvallis! - TJ
Thanks for the reply and for the work you both do. My belated reply on Woo and the All Star game: more voters and managers need to find out about him. He has to remain healthy and put a few solid seasons together. A scant workload so far. And his popularity nationally is low. Only most of us around here only know much about him and the selections are a popularity contest.
Unlikely, but I think Riley Greene from Detroit would be an amazing pickup
That would be tough
Roberts would be a big time move...what would he cost as far as prospects and salary?
No hitters need better relievers besides munoz
They need hitters lol
the low-low. Christian Y. might have a bit of pop left in his career and would likely be obtained on the
Brewers are in first place though
Shhh... We are too!
If the deal could be had, I guarantee The Brew Crew would love one of our Big league ready young pitchers. (W team control no less.)
robles, bliss, and zavala gots to go these guys are just taking up space absolute zeroes ... replace them with an outfielder, 3b, and catcher with some pop and we got ourselves a team
We need a clubhouse SPLASH to prove to guys like cal Kirby and Logan we give af about winning
But we are winning.
No thy self, right? Lol

Babe Ruth is real, my grandfather in-law at 100 years used to watch him play.
Tayler Saucedo and the Mariners bullpen says otherwise 🤷♂️
I don’t think you can argue with someone that is 100 and watched him play.
Isaac Paredes and Lane Thomas.
Those 2 are good ones! Not sure if the Rays would move on from Paredes or not, but it’s definitely worth some thought
@@MarineLayerPod i think they will be. Caminero plays 3B and hes bout ready.
Let's go allin.
Ford+Canzone+Tai pete for Louis Robert.
Montes farmelo Hancock for Rooker.
1.jp
2.robert jr
3.jrod
4.cal
5.rooker
6.polonco
7.ty
8.raley
9.rojals.
Rooker DH then?
Ya, 2 Mitch, dmo, bliss on the bench. Cover C, If, Of, and speed.
A sneaky name that I’d love to see in a deal with the Giants, Ryan Walker. Local kid, pretty decent stuff, and his baseball savant page is full of red. If you make a move for Wade Jr and SF want a higher level prospect, he could be an interesting name to watch for.
Giants fan here, I think they are more likely to trade Doval than walker- the front office really seems to like him.
I pray to God NONE of these trades happen. VLAD, ROBERT, BO, or nothing
We talked about all those guys in our episode 2 weeks ago if you want to check that out!
Rather have Boston fans happy than Dallas fans (the whole crap state of Texas I will always root against). They have annoying fans whose teams don't win (Cowboys). Rangers did just win, so screw them.
That said, haven't watched one NBA game in reg season or playoffs. Sport has just spiraled downhill.
You need to meet some more Boston sports fans 😂 they’re like no other fanbase
Please no on jazz, we don't need that personality. Have you seen his interview where he talks about not practicing with his team? Hard pass
I quit viewing after 24 min cause you didn't get to the subject that made me tune in...not a good way to build a channel...
Everything is timestamped in the description
Easy to get to the right spot, with timestamps if you don’t have to watch in all in my opinion.
