Hate to lose top prospects but at the end of the day, they are still only prospects with high ceilings - no guarantee they'll be successful in MLB. With the stellar starting pitching we have now under contract for a few years, the time to win and spend $ get the right players to truly push for a deep playoff run or title is right now. This SP rotation is a rare situation, build a full team right now!
The Tigers may fall off and if thats the case there'd be 3 teams we can choose to get big packages from, The Tigers, White Sox, or Marlins.
Players from each team to target in said package are:
Tigers: Greene, Veirling, Flaherty, Vest
White Sox: Robert, Pham, Fedde, Kopech
Marlins: De La Cruz, Chisholm, Weathers, Faucher
Rooker would be my last resort pickup. If we tried to make a deal for all the other names and couldnt then maybe id look at Rooker for cheap

To me, the most untouchable prospect is Harry Ford. We all know that Cal is not getting an extension, and if we trade Ford, we risk having literally NO ONE at Catcher in a couple years. Plus, Ford has THE highest upside of any prospect. Unless you are getting back a bonafide SUPERSTAR AND extending Cal, he's not going anywhere.

How do I really feel? I feel that if they screw up the deadline, then I will be done supporting this crap show team until they change ownership.
This offense is abysmal, it is completely unwatchable.
The problem is that their off-season moves have almost all flopped miserably.
Both Mitches, and Polanco stink out loud, Luke Rarely is literally the ONLY hit they made last off-season, and for the life of me I cannot understand how they keep missing so badly!
Whether it was Winker or Teoscar or literally anyone they've tried at second base, they just keep missing HORRIBLY.
If I were as bad at my job as this front office, I would have been fired.

No matter who you get if JP, JROD, Cal, France, Garver, Haniger do not hit, trading is not the solution.. even if Stanton had a $1B to spend Dipoto just has poor judgement and poor negotiation skills to get it right...he adds on but he takes away more... Servais just makes poor on-field PH calls and pitching... M's have the talent just got to get better... if trade, Dipoto will screw up.
