Montgomery pissed off everybody he came into contact with. Trouble he was too good and too successful to want to get rid of him. Not a pleasant individual and it;s believed he may have been on the autism spectrum - it fits.

Is it? no serious i m pretty sure russia is doing its bad of fanning the flames. But it would be more then normale if the stresses and opposite demands of their positions have sort of soured a good working relation. At that point it might be better to put a couple layers between the commander and the president. Not saying the relation has deterioted enough for that but it wouldn't suprise me either. So like i said is it?
The usual way to dispel such "rumors" is to hold a press conference on current events and have a reporter ask the question "there are rumors that .... Is it true that ... " and then have the spokesperson refute the claim.
The US does this, Russia does this.
The problem is that there is silence on the part of Kiev.

It doesn't fit with empirical data or the personalities of the people at all. Rumors in the news building on previous rumors in the same news. That doesn't make it any more real.

Imo, wars are fought on more battlefields than just the zero line and you consistently provide information on the economics, politics, international matters & social issues that influence this one. So many content creators focus solely on things that go boom, and fail to understand that there's a whole country behind the battles that supports and provides for defense as well as civilian life. Zaluzhnyi is working miracles with far too little support. The GLSTBs are finally arriving around now, a whole year after they were approved.
We still see no museum piece airframes, despite them being out of commission in some of the places they’re coming from and only still in service in more, because the F35s are slow to arrive.
Can we really believe they’ll still be fitted with the super duper long range radar and any sort of weapons systems, by the time they arrive?
What exactly is the holdup?
In any event, despite all this adversity, Zaluzhnyi is still achieving significant success and his army is suffering far fewer losses than they would if he had followed US advice and tried to run a NATO campaign without NATO resources.
President Zelenskyy knows this and is not an idiot, so even if they don’t see completely eye to eye on everything, he won’t be encouraging Zaluzhnyi to go anywhere. They are two sides of one very good coin.
And once again the mainstream media is Stupid enough to spend hours on it....... these people Never learn.....
Seen an interview with him, he is inspirational and a human being, and respected by everyone. And obviously no plan goes perfect, comes with the job.

I'm American, and you're right on track! I think we urgently need this type of calling-out of clickbait motivated reportage in newspapers. Analysis like yours urgently needs to be heard by Americans and American journalists.
Perhaps you could solicit the Washington Post to write an Op-Ed piece for them on this topic - to specifically and pointedly challenge their irresponsible reporting? I don't know if newspapers in other countries seek to publish Op-Eds that challenge their journalism, but American newspapers do! You would be an excellent candidate. Alternatively, PBS Newshour (PBS = Public Broadcast Service) is a nonprofit non-aligned NGO in the US that doesn't have advertisers, does long piece journalism and has wide viewership in intellectual communities. They frequently interview international experts and critics, and might be interested in having you on their program. Your critical analysis of this issue needs a wider audience!!

This is right to do and brilliant as a topic. I recall in a great college we studied a book called: "How to Read a Book." And we missed out by not studying and teaching others how to read the news and "How to Evaluate Fox News" and "How to Evaluate a News Article" and never trust the headline. Honestly do not. The headline writer has often not read the article and these days, the key idea is often buried low in the media pieces. That is breaking law of journalism which used to be: Topmost put the key idea and back it up below. But now I find the keys at the bottom of the blasted article and who has time for it so it becomes misleading. Same also with CZcams news...they bury a key at the end.
