I will never forget that "sweet old man" stripping off his shirt in the kitchen where food is served, personally. Even if the roof tile food tasted great, I wouldn't know because I wouldn't eat it if I knew about that first.

I like to believe they really thought that the displays of food in other restaurants were once actual dishes, that have been left so long that they are now as hard as a rock. It's too funny, and is the only explanation I can think of as to why it was found that way in their restaurant.

They have to have some sort of interesting conflict. The producers have to be doing something to make the owners seem more incompetent and or confrontational.

Reality shows will often hire someone to create conflict behind the scenes by getting the cast members riled up, try to pit cast members against each other, and in some cases put them in a state of emotional distress and trigger their fight or flight response.
You'd be surprised as to how most of the people are resistant to change of any sort in their life even if it's for the better , they find something and they stick to it even if it's self destructive , human nature is pretty weird lol
@@grahamkristensen9301 it's as the chef says "living in denial" , I think it's basic human nature , when everything's going down hill our mind is programmed to seek something positive or good or hopeful for us to hang on to and if it can't find any thing good or positive , it'll give us the illusion of it , sort of like a defense mechanism that has kind of outlived its purpose

Bill (the guy with the trolley) was open to all of Ramsay's ideas, it was his wife that was ruining the business.
Lela of Lela's was also more than willing to listen to Ramsay, sadly it was too little too late.

It looked good until I saw the pool of brown grease and the raw dough inside. It was just covered in melted cheese/sausage that’s the only reason it looked tasty on the surface.

I'm gonna be real, I'd probably throw down on that pizza. It doesn't look like the best I'd ever have but I'd take that over Domino's. Granted, it does look pretty greasy and you'd probably feel like dying after more than two slices but there was plenty of cheese and the chunks of sausage were the right size.
