I always feel extremely bad for the waitresses and waiters who have absolutely no control of how good or bad the food is, but they have to bear the brunt of the customers and Ramsay himself, even though he is as respectful as he can be to them

Not really, it's sort of paradoxical. If someone is falsely accused of being in denial, admitting yes would make the accuser seem correct and saying no would still make them seem correct. If the claim of being a denial is false, then rejecting the accusation is not evidence of denial
