I love your videos music or voice over it’s all helpful! Thanks for these videos idk where I’d be without them.
I really appreciate that!! Thank you! 👊🏻
The best method is to use a vise grip locking pliers with a towel underneath and spin the whole bar end piece.
Yeah I’m sure that works pretty good
I just found your channel im enjoying your videos, as soon as the weather warms up im gonna start making vids with mine i have a 13 hp 2018
Thank you! Sweet!! Remind me what you post so I can check it out
thanks for the very thorough tutorial bro🙏
My pleasure man!
You inspired me to do this to mine. That's my project this weekend when the handlebars arrive.
You got it man! It’s pretty simple good luck!!
I completed swap! It went smoother than 99% percent of my motorcycle projects. Super glad I did it
Nice!!!
the silence was killing me bro, some music on those transitions please :D
Trust me it killed me too lol. This was an experiment LOL if enough people tell me that they like it this way better I will do this but I highly doubt that is going to happen. I don’t understand why people get so bent out of shape about the music
Keep the music, and for anyone trying to take those bar ends off use a vice grip and break em lose then use a Philips screw driver. Keep up the great work man!
Yeah I’ve seen good results with that method man! At the end of the day they came off finally lol. Thanks man!
Great video!
Thank you 👊🏻
I like your music and your intro song!
Thanks! 👊🏻
Wow wow if the heat thing works, that’s the type of information I want to find in videos, I’ll back back in a min. I’ll let you know
It definitely works, I promise lol. Heat works to help in any situation where there is a thread locker applied to the Bolt.
yes i can confirm it works, i've been saved thank you ,,")
Haha. No problem!
Same year. Went to do the swap today. Now brake setup and clutch setup are not long enough! Any suggestions on longer cables or video on how to run the cables
Just adjust the cables. Pull them through their holders more. Stock cables will fit
i like it more with music. thankyou.
Heck yeah! 🤙🏼
Good job. The silence was a bit weird. I played the jeopardy theme in my head. Not sure if your edit software does this but I can add an audio track like background music to play at like 15% capacity while I talk. So it’s there but not noticeable. Then on the parts or timelapses I let the music track go back to 100%. Then ramp it back down next time I talk. Regardless it was a good video man.
Yeah that’s what I’m usually doing on all my videos. But the parts where I’m not talking at all and the music is higher volume some people find annoying so this was an experimental style of video I will not be doing again lol
What about drilling the little holes in the bar ends because the combo switches rock back and forth.. clamp force isnt enough. there are tiny pins that need to go into holes to prevent them moving like this..
I didn’t have to do that. Mine stay just fine without that
I had to drill mine too .
Was that a ram ball mount on your left hand mirror bolt? I’m looking for options to hold my phone on my bike.
Yupp it was!
Did you ever have a problem with the clutch cable being tight? Any cable adjustments?
Depending on which bars and how you have them you’ll just have to reroute the cable but other than that no issues at all
I enjoy your videos, man. I have a question for you though. How long after taking the torch to the bar end did you wait to use the gun to get the bar end out?
Thanks man. And pretty much immediately. Why?
tbh because I’m gonna put bar end mirrors on mine this weekend and I realize I need to torch my bar ends and I wasn’t sure whether to let it cool down significantly or to get at it right away
If you let it cool way down the loctite will harden up again. Try it right after it heats up man

I say go with a combination of music and talking! Thanks again for the video.
Thank you! That’s what I usually try to do. Talk to explain things and then Music when I’m just doing fast forward clips.
@@RidinDad also don't let any haters get you down. You can't please everyone, that's just the business!
Very true! Thank you
lol, i died with the bit broke
Twice!! Lol
Links? Also did I miss you drilling the holes for the controls? Do the controls feel higher or lower than stock? I like the added width but if it got any lower, my shoulders and neck would let me know real quick lol
No I never drilled any holes. The controls mount to themselves. No holes needed. Wires are external. And my bad!! I guess it didn’t save when I added the whole description in last time. I will add it later on today. Thanks for letting me know!
@@RidinDad wow, that was fast. Thanks, still on the fence. Some say they are lower than stock, some say higher. I can’t go lower with my neck pain and risers will create a little hassle with cable length. Music...don’t matter to me unless it’s so loud that I cant hear what you’re saying. Do what you want, can’t please everyone. They can always post their own videos for people to criticize.
Very true! And they are definitely not any lower. I would say they are about the same height if maybe a quarter of an inch or half of an inch higher? They are more wide by about 2 inches on each side and the angle at which the bar tilts back is a little bit less on these bars than the stock
Did you have to drill holes in the bars for the kill switch control? Or did you use tape?
Neither. Fit just fine as you saw me install it. Nothing hidden here at all.
You need a Huffy nerf bar, make it happen! lol
Lol I’ll just take a pool noodle, slap a ridin dad sticker on it, and through it on top for added hp
@@RidinDad I'm pretty sure that is scientific fact right there
You'll never make everyone happy, so do YOUR videos the way YOU like them. IMO, I like the combo idea. Light music with talking and explanations. The dead silent time lapse portions are weird. But that's just me. 🙂
Agreed man. It was an experiment LOL figured I would do it on a real simple short style video like this just to see. I can’t stand the silence LOL
@@RidinDad yeah, silence is deafening. The voices in my head get far too loud. 😈
😂
Are these just a straight fit on then? I heard people saying you need to drill holes in the switch gear
Not for these bars. Everything you saw was just unbolt and revolt on to the new bar. Now extras needed for these
@@RidinDad perfect thanks for the help! Just subscribed:)
My pleasure. Thank you!!!!!
Is it necessary to take off bar ends?
Depends on what grips you have and how it’s setup
Good video! Quick tip, instead of adding text saying to ignore what you're saying, just leave it out and edit around it 😎
Yeah just two different ways to skin a cat. This is also a very old video of mine
@@RidinDad well it helped lol just got done with mine
Glad to hear it!
good afternoon, does the cross bar interfere with the gauges and key ?
Nope
@@RidinDad ok, that's great, thank you
👊🏻
Did you have to break the glue on the mount that holds the front brake line on? Did you adjust throttle cable tension? Did you have to reroute your clutch cable?
You can reroute the clutch cable if your bar orientation is too taunt. And I did not have to break the glue on the brake line holders. If you have to you should be able to pretty easy and with no issues. And no, throttle cable stayed exactly the same
just wanna know how to get the grip off or buy a new one?
You can buy a new one but I reused mine obviously. Compressed air works pretty good shooting it in between the grip and the bar after you’ve used a screwdriver or similar to break the seal of the glue
You can also squirter wd40 in the grip with the straw that comes with it
Just gotta be careful with that because wd40 is used as a grip adhesive once it dries too so squirting wd40 on it to remove it is gonna make it pretty damn difficult to reuse them if that’s the plan
I used wd40 and it took about 20 seconds to get them off. I did wash them with dish soap after.
I keep wondering how do these bars help with the ride?
Well first off it’s a different angel/position. And the biggest advantage is durability. Stock bars bend a ton under harsh usage and stunt riding
@@RidinDad thanks brother. Can confirm those bar end screws are no joke!
Agreed lol. Where there’s a will there’s a way though !
Chris, keep the music! Thanks for the video
I agree lol thanks!
Appreciate no music!
🤷♂️
Can i have the ref please thank’s😁
The what?
What was that guys name? Greg??? He’s an idiot…you make YOUR videos how YOU want, we enjoy them…!!! Keep being Legendary!!!
Haha thank you man!!!!
Keep music.! If the two who don’t like it don’t like it then idk what to tell them lol it’s bland without anything
That’s what my thought was lol. Haven’t done another silent one in a very long time ….probably LT 60-70 videos lol
Deez nuts
Ahhh, classic
China any ???
What??
damn those must be some shitty bits lol
They were not impact rated because I did not have any impact bits for that style. But in general those bar ends are really tight in there. It’s a very well known problem with these bikes
@@RidinDad yea my right bar end is still not budging haha, need to find something to grip it better XD
