    Anjelah, I also saved myself for marriage until age 36, after making a commitment to God at 18. I understand what you mean. I’m not sure what the result would have been, or the pain that may have come from premarital sex, but I feel like I missed out on life, because of my purity commitment.

    I thought the Christian way was saving one's sexuality for marriage. It would help to clarify if your point of view on life is not influenced by your Christianity.

    • @kiimmig2293
      @kiimmig2293 Před 2 lety

      How can ones point of view on life Not be influenced by their Christianity? How does that work?
      I’m truly not being trollish I’m not understanding. I’ll read again after my coffee. 😵‍💫

      @dearbrave4183 Před 2 lety +2

      @@kiimmig2293 are you asking me? Anyways I also don't understand why you would ask me that. In the video Anjelah said to have been married a virgin but it was said that they would have preferred having sexual experiences outside of marriage. That's why I made that statement.
      Usually most people who had sexual experiences outside of marriage who decide to become Christian or follow God seriously, they go through breaking soul ties, restoration and healing.
      Sometimes even deliverance for serious cases like those who end up with spirit spouses.
      And then starting a journey for celibacy, with a wish they kept themselves to avoid the spiritual and soul issues they have to work through.
      This is the first time that I hear a wish in the opposite direction. So I wanted to know if Christianity or the Bible doesn't influence the way they live their life and the decision they make. If to be precised, their sexuality among all other areas

      @@dearbrave4183 Ya we sound like a married couple. Lol
      Well my take on her comment you mentioned is , at this time in her life she’s questioning her choices, and her opinion could change again.
      That’s the thing about life and reflection. It changes depending where you are.
      I understand her thoughts completely. I remember being that age. 😉
      Thanks!

      @@kiimmig2293 age is irrelevant . Christianity is an identity. Once a Christian, Jesus models how one's life should be lived. It's about picking up your cross and following up hill all the way to the end.

    • @kiimmig2293
      @kiimmig2293 Před 2 lety

      No age is definitely relevant, in my opinion.
      Through experiences I have learned, grown, and changed my opinion more than once.
      The knowledge and wisdom a person builds through time are also on individual experiences.
      Jesus carried that up the hill and gave the perfect sacrifice.
      He also gave us the perfect example on how to please his Father.

    Are you serious? I’m pretty sure I’ve heard you describe yourself as a “Christian,” But you wish you would have been sexually active before marriage? That doesn’t sound like Christian values to me...

    • @Rruns26
      @Rruns26 Před 2 lety +1

      Absolutely. Anytime someone claiming to be a Christian wishes they would have sinned more by having premarital sex... Is not a Christian and isn’t relying on God’s word as the truth! That’s like saying, I’m a Christian and have been for years, but I wish I would have stolen cars in my youth, even as I was claiming to be a Christian during that time. She was following God’s word by not having premarital sex, now she regrets it. A Christian doesn’t say or wish that.

      @happytrouble5561 Před 2 lety

      @@pamlove421 He's not judging he's simply stating the truth. God wanted us to experience sex withing the marriage only. You have no idea what ties are being created during sex and many people suffer great emotional pain because of these ties. That's why the intimacy was meant to be experienced with only your spouse. For it to be a judgemental statement there has to be a condemnation which there isn't one from the Rruns26. There is a difference and you need to learn it, because you're gonna have a tough time going through life, especially if you're this easily offended, playing the " judgmental card" whenever it doesn't suit your way of thinking or living. God's not going to lower his standards for anybody. That's the matter of the fact. He/ she ( Rruns26 ) simply stated that as Christians we have standards and certain values to uphold and those are not to please people but God Himself.

    • @happytrouble5561
      @happytrouble5561 Před 2 lety

      @@Rruns26 Totally agree. I was shocked as I was listening. Instead of being proud for trying live the way God intended for us, she's having regrets. It's very sad actually and I don't think she understand properly the whole meaning behind staying celibate until marriage. I can't believe someone would actually regress to the point of wishing such foolish things.
