    Impressive video, a huge thank you to Will and his team.
    Just a few points to clarify and reassure you:
    - The rear plastic cover serves purely as a protective layer. The wheel's quick-release mechanism is directly connected to an internal aluminum frame, which, in turn, connects to the front carbon fiber plate. This setup ensures maximum rigidity, with the cover serving a purely cosmetic purpose.
    - The compatibility of the wheel with both Fanatec and Thrustmaster bases extends to all games on both PS and Xbox platforms. In the case of the Fanatec version, the integration involves a mechanical and electronic fusion with a Fanatec Universal Hub V2. Conversely, with the Thrustmaster version, the wheel communicates directly with the motor base.
    The inclusion of keyboard emulation features serves as an enhancement, expanding the wheel's functionality and surpassing console limitations regarding the number of functions accessible in games.
    - The Wi-Fi is solely utilized for receiving telemetry data from the consoles and updating the wheel's software. On PC, all telemetry data is transmitted through the USB cable.
    Once more, a huge thank you to Will and the entire Boosted media team for dedicating time to review our product. Your feedback holds immense value for us and is deeply appreciated.

      Way too expensive.. Inflation at its finest.

    • @RaceZeus
      @RaceZeus Před 2 měsíci +3

      There’s nothing about this wheel that justifies it being $15-2000+ depending on what paddles and QR you get…this is just wrong. Stop scalping customers for every cent they have and charge reasonable prices. Leox, simagic, moza, and so many others actually offer carbon fiber wheels with screens for reasonable prices. Stop ripping people off

    • @RaceZeus
      @RaceZeus Před 2 měsíci

      @@eddiea677it’s not inflation. I’ve followed them since they started years ago and they had these insane prices since day 1. It’s the sim world and companies being able to ridiculously overcharge customers for products because they still buy them since it’s a rich man’s hobby at the end of the day. It’s pretty dumb but it’s the sim world. Simagic, moza, and asetek are swinging back though with affordable products with the exact same, if not better, build quality of these companies ripping people off.
      So hopefully prices as a whole across the industry come down as people continue to choose viable, fairly priced options. Or hopefully companies like this who try to overcharge for their products (this is already happening to fanatec but that’s also cause they are also having shipping issues that’s really pissing people off) go out of business if they try to stick to their insane pricing models. Either way, over time, we the customer win.

    Hi Boostemedia! It's always a pleasure to see your in-depth and passionate reviews. I'm simdriver and I'm writing from Italy where this product is manufactured and I'm very proud. The company that produces it is also my client and I have visited where it is made more than once. It's really fantastic!
    Compared to the first version, this V3 is a big step forward, especially in terms of materials and functionality. I can't imagine other versions and updates, it's already practically perfect.
    They are expensive and niche products, it is clear, also because which steering wheels on the current market offer the telemetry included with Simhub? Setup is also a pain but once you figure it all out, it's great to use. In my opinion there is still work to be done on the steering wheel power supply, too many cables required and electrical absorption. A greeting! 😁♥

    Have watched tons of your videos, love them, very helpful, but, I have one HUGE problem and have been looking everywhere for an answer. I have the GT7 DD Pro 8Nm setup, my first Fanatec wheel and base. I am use to having a normal analog joystick like on my PS controllers and previous wheels so I can look left and right slightly, little more, or all the way. Now all I have is a click stick, it goes 100% left or right, making driving cockpit view very non-safe, especially GT7 because the cockpit view is so horrible. It is very important to see the cars coming from behind, how fast and to which side and distance. Can't do that with the GT7 wheel, and from what I am seeing no Fanatec wheel does this? Am I wrong? Can you please direct me to a Fanatec wheel setup so I can have a joystick type analog stick to look left and right properly. GT style wheel not F1 style. Thank you very much for your time!

    The wheel is $2000+ depending on what you get with it in terms of paddles and QR and shipping…especially if it has flex in the wheel…no lit buttons…and plastic housing on the back…this is just ridiculous. It’s nonsense. It doesn’t cost them even 25% of that price in materials/man hours to make this wheel and yet they have the gall charge 10x+ what it costs them to make. It’s a rip off. I’m so sick of these companies trying to overcharge us customers for products in the sim world just because they can get away with it.
    I’ll take a Moza FSR wheel or Simagic FX Pro over this any day for 1/3 the price. I’m not going to pay an extra $1200+ for a few extra screen customization options that the Moza and Simagic don’t have. That’s literally the only difference between this and those wheels…is customizing a screen worth $1200 to you? Then go ahead and get this.
    If you still want an all carbon fiber wheel with real life dashboards on the screen, go with the Simagic FX Pro instead.
    If you just want an all carbon fiber wheel and don’t care about real life dash boards, go with Moza FSR.
    The difference is literally screen customization/software, which is not worth an extra $1200 compared to these other wheels. Esportsim just another company trying to rip sim racing customers off with their prices. Be smart with your $$$ people!!! There’s so many better options than this out there.

    • @ChrisSuperTube
      @ChrisSuperTube Před 2 měsíci

      The options you listed are different, not better. I like the option to choose something different and I appreciate the tech in this wheel, even if it is a bit flawed here & there. Pay a $1000 for a Moza anything? Never gonna happen. The wheel costs AU1800 at the moment so only a few 100 more than some and cheaper than many.

      @dromtl7250 Před 2 měsíci

      @@kevenmasse6438 His rant went over your head. Sim racing companies overcharge, it’s undeniable. They’ve been getting away with it because the hobby used to be very niche but that is no longer the case. The materials used for this wheel are worth far far less than the price of the wheel so why does it have to be so expensive? Wheels are more expensive than high end bases and pedals, how is that possible? The sim racing market needs to adjust, most consumers are regular people looking for quality at a good price. That’s why Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec still have the lion’s share of the market.

    I Long since came to the conclusion that wheels with screens are not worth. Built a bunch of wheels my self diy and tested others after making/testing 1s with a screen it was clear the screen was pointless they are always too low in you vision to be useful then the additional cost. Having a separate screen with rpm/flag lights higher up so its in your periphery was way more functional. Then you can use cheaper wheels and you always have that screen and led functions regardless. At this point we are way past the point of over engineered price to performance ratio.

      I never said I was doing a quest 3 review. There are plenty of others on YT :)

      @@boostedmedia Well, if two are doing the same thing, its not the same thing:)
      I am looking forward to your review, as I like how you review stuff and I find a lot of useful little details in those reviews, that I wouldn't find anywhere else. Sure, there is a lot of reviews of Quest 3 out there, but majority of those are quick, short and lacking sense for detail.

    Heavy Lifting = This Review Video… Bravo team.🫡
    The sharp carbon shifter bit hit home for me, I have a very nice after market kit that feels the same way. Wondering if you’re lightly bleeding (or not) during a race is annoying, lol. But this wheel is a brilliant offering overall. Wish the config I need was in my price range.

    The price is very similar to the BMW wheel from Fanatec

      And it does a ton more than what the fanatec one is doing.
