He also voiced Mumra on Thundercats, and Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget. Pretty much every memorable cartoon character from the 80's. If you grew up in the 80's, you grew up with Frank Welker.

TBF, it makes sense in universe, Optimus was originally just Orion Pax, while Megatron was a gladiator. Optimus had to learn to be a warrior, while Megatron was basically born to the role.

Megatron was made to be a tank! The handgun thing was ill conceived.
Maybe put the gun has an overall higher kill count
The 80's gun version was better. Think they went with the tank design, because people thought it was a real weapon
Starscream, Skyfire/Jetfire, Hot Rod / Rodimus Prime... there are so many possibilities but those would be the ones I'd love to see next.

I think vehicle modes will be the biggest deciding factor with these, I imagine pretty much any terrestrial forms will automatically get priority over any flying vehicles.

It’s so cool to see the megatron and prime figures moving side by side. You can see them getting better at making the movements. They both look good, but prime’s movements looks a little more stiff sometimes, like a toy. Megatron moving his arms looks so smooth like it’s someone actually moving their arms
I like the more mechanical movements of Optimus better
Optimus movements are stiff because of the realistic quality, he is so op (not just overpowered but also his initials) that the only way they could debuff him was to make him stiff
I have a best friend in elementary days we both love transformers and he is very good at drawing so he always draw them in his notebook in detailed. I miss him so much and seeing this video, it flash back good memories
When you told him to transform I half expected Megatron to respond with "You don't control me, fleshling!"
The first Optimus video was my introduction to Bridget as a presenter and one of my kids favorite videos to this day

Honestly, idk how they're gonna do Starscream.
Yeah sure drones exist, but:
1. His alt mode is a fighter jet, not a heli.
2. These toys are incredibly heavy, even if they could somehow incorporate drone tech into his jet design it wont even float.

I was literally living my joy watching you with these. Especially when you brought out Optimus with Megs. I would have done the exact same thing if I had both. I wish I could afford the price though but do understand why Megs is $900, Just wow....Megs is just so darn cool!
The movement kind of reminds me of the movie small solders, it’s so animatronic clanky yet smooth in the style of 90s motion animation and practical movements!
They even got frank welker to do the voice
as cool as it is I just feel like something is off. I think it’s with Welker’s aging voice but I feel like he needs more “robotic” in the voice. Like that filter they had for g1 I think.
Frank Welker was also the voice of Soundwave.
Frank Welker did multiple characters in G1 as well as all of Soundwave's cassettes, Skywarp, Galvatron in Season 3 and the Rebirth episodes, as well as Autobots Mirage and Trailbreaker. His voice was everywhere on the TV series. That they got Frank Welker back in the studio for this robot adds a huge level of authenticity to this new robot from Robosen.
Villains always look better in toy format. The quality of that Megatron is top tier.

Mega Tron looks amazing and a Tank makes more sense. Don't like that Optimus is shorter. Time for Optimus Version 2 with upgrades. Also Robosen needs to make Gen 1 Starscream and Soundwave, and get their iconic look and voices right. Gen 1 Soundwaves voice was awesome. Also of course Bumblebee.

It would be super awesome if they "recognized" one another and immediately went into 'mock' battle or at the least some verbal sparring... still, coolest thing EVER. I'm a kid again seeing this... wish these would've been available way back when... would never have gotten one, but it would've been overload to see these as an actual kid along side the show...

I agree. It would have to be the tape deck Soundwave. Since he’s basically a cube and that should be easier for Robosen to put together.
This one is truly impressive. They used TF Armada tank Megatron, with G1 Robot form.
I think Scorpinox, would make an excellent titan edition.

Love that Megatron is calling his owner a "fool". I have to say I think Megatron's voice was deeper in the G1 cartoon.
That is what makes it more interesting. Super nice and cordial Optimus gets boring. Rude Megatron is fun to listen to. It's like a toddler that says crazy things.

Robosen should add some kind of ecosystem features into these, maybe via OTA updates. It would be great if these could connect with each other over Bluetooth and enact fight sequences together.

They already are going to make a Bumblebee. He's an entry-level option; he doesn't transform but he's cheaper and does interact with Optimus.

I have the Optimus and Grimlock robots from Robosen and this one is going to be really hard for me not to buy too because it looks just as cool as those two. Plus, I had the purple and green camo tank Megatron tank as a kid so this brings me back to those days. Soundwave should be the next Decepticon that they should make because a transforming, functional Bluetooth speaker that is also a robot would be pretty awesome.
She just has such an irresistible excitement it's hard not to get caught up in it. These are definitely cool, would be awesome if they made some Robotech/Macross versions of the Veritech Valkyrie fighters one day.

Absolutely. On the official Facebook page there were people arguing hat its not the proper G1 design. And Im just like....the original design was dumn. It just came from a random box of toys.
