Although not budget friendly, “Wheel of Sun and Moon” is a great card for this deck b/c whenever a legendary permanent you control is sent to the graveyard and gets put on the bottom of your library, you can tutor for it again with Sisay!
This deck is incredibly synergistic and ambitious! Love it. It's like an amalgam of tons of badass characters that frequently get passed over, yet they work so well together. This is why I watch the channel! Thanks Mitch

Domri, Anarch of Bolas seems like he would have been another walker to try to fit into the deck budget. He does support with a +1/+0 buff to creatures and his first ability provides mana with counter spell immunity to your creature spells.

Still coming back to this deck, years later. Sisay isn’t the most competitive, but she’s great for being a flexible, toolbox sort of commander. I play a similar deck to this, but included the classic crew of the weatherlight (Gerard, Hannah, Squee, Tangarth, Ertai) as nostalgia includes.
Hey! Thanks for all these amazing videos. I built your Arcades deck and now I play commander as much as I can, and I have wayyyyyy too much fun. Also, my suggestion for the next deck is Hazoret. Seems like a really interesting build around that isn’t seen a lot in Commander. Also I pulled her invocation the other day and really want to build her. Just a suggestion. Keep up the good work!
I’ll definitely be referring to this to fill any slots i have left in my deck. I think sisay is really underrated and has potential as a cedh deck which is what ive been working on.

Arcane Laboratory is a great card for this since using Sisay’s ability isn’t casting a spell, but it slows your opponents way down.

I wasn't expecting to see my commander as one of the 99 - although I guess that legend tribal is likely to have a variety of viable commanders in it.

I know this isnt quite "on color" for what you looking to do, but kami of the cresent moon would give you so much more value + its a ledgendary creature, 5 color decks are so inovative on a budget, i love how you can make what i would think the hardest colors for budget competitave and fun under 25 bucks

With the uncommon Planeswalkers they are finally affordable! Plus I like the idea they had by giving them static abilities

As much as i like to create my own deck... i am going to use this. I saw i had this card and wanted to make it, but i don't think i could get this far
I'm surprised that I don't see Arixmethes anywhere on Sisay decklists. Not the most budget option, but Sisay can grab it with only a small boost, it's huge mana advantage and color help, and it alone buffs her by +2/+2 if you don't have another green/blue legend out. You can even leave the last counter on it if you want it to remain a land, making it harder to remove to help keep the mana boost and maintain two colors for Sisay even in the face of something like Cyclonic Rift or Akroma's Vengeance.
what do you think about playing the legendary kamigawa lands in this deck?

Any thoughts on Kumena budget deck for merfolk tribal?
I was hoping this would be a superfriends deck tech since i am building one right now (a budget version though) but then i realized this would be slightly out of budget. I am definitely including in my deck Thaumatic Compass to help with mana fixing. Joiner Adept is also Chromatic Lantern 2.0 (minus the ramp though) and Vizier of the Menagerie can provide some pseudo card advantage and some pseudo mana fixing. Yeah i know they are not legends but they help a lot with a budget 5c mana base. You should probably add an Illusionist's Bracers in the upgraded version. 5 mana to tutor/play two legends out of nowhere is nothing to scoff at.
Personally i am not a big fan of the Vivid lands since they etb tapped and we already have several etb tapped lands in this deck and if u include them as well it will slow down the deck quite a bit. Maybe it would be better to add more rampant growth effects (Kodama's Reach, Cultivate, Farseek, Khalni Heart Expedition, Explosive Vegetation, Circuitous Route) and replace the tapped lands (not all of them ofc) and some of the early artifacts that get basics to your hand with them and add a few more forests to be able to cast them at the early game reliably. And if u feel that u get ''mana flooded'' with forests add a few more Harrow effects to replace the extra Forests. My point is that since we have access to green we should use green to ramp & fix our mana since that is its thing instead of relying on artifacts. And yes i know i mentioned earlier Thaumatic Compass but compass at least does it multiple times (although it costs mana) and it can be useful later on at the game.

I love how I put the decklist and the reasonable upgrades in TCG Player optimized. First result $10,050.00 Second and Third were $45. Still planning on buying it but not today for $10k. ;) It's a Vivid Marsh from Commander 2015 Near Mint that is listed as $10k

Apparently I was reading her ability wrong this whole time, though. I thought her tutor was equal to her CMC.

I was getting ready to rag on this "haphazard " design. But then all these quirky synergies show up. Azami + Kazmina is something that is subtle enough that most opponents won't see it as a threat till you draw 4+ a turn for a few turns.
I know you have a limited amount of time to discuss this build, but this is very much a janky Birthing Pod deck; that makes me happy.
Wouldn't Etrata work in this deck since you can search for her after she shuffles?

I’ve been trying to create my own commander deck for a while now but don’t know a lot about most cards and their synergies, as well as being really indecisive when it comes to choosing a commander. If there’s any advice anyone could give me regarding this I’d be really grateful :)
This seems like a weird request/suggestion, however I like this very bad but flavorful strategy. I think you just might be able to make the honden cards work in this deck, or maybe another deck.

I just realized this is the first true 5 color deck you’ve done. Every other 5 color commander you’ve done has been focused on only a few colors
could you make a control combo deck around this sisay some combos are expensive cards but 2 i feel like they could be played on budget
obviously godo, bandit warlord + helm of the host
and also gerrard weatherlight hero + saffi eriksdotter + varolz, the scar striped + judith scourge diva
gerrard and saffi are good protection but gerrard is a one use unless you got saffi in play and varolz's scavenge is a good way to make sisay strongr and for judith she is red which means a lot in sisay and she gives +1+0 to each other creature which is awesome

Okay so I need help. I recently built Sisay Weatherlight Captain and I run Jegantha the Wellspring in the 99. Does Sisay see Jegantha as a 5 color creature and get +5/+5 OR only as a gruul creature and get +2/+2? Can someone help explain?
Ok so I know you commented this like 2 years ago but since no-one bothered to reply i’ll help out.
Sisay only gets buffed when it’s the mana colour in the legendary card’s _cost_, not it’s identity.
Jegantha’s colour is Gruul, meaning he will only buff her by +2/+2 because it’s red/green. Hope this helps!

So Sisay is captain of the Weatherlight now? What happened to Jhoira getting it back? I guess Weatherlight Captain has pretty high turnover rate. Great deck, always love your stuff.
She was the original Captain in the lore. I believe jhoria took command after she died. I'm not sure when that was, MTG lore back then was found in book series and magazine articles.

I'm shocked niv-mizzet reborn isn't in here because a mass majority of the legends are two color and can give sissy the maximum pump on one legend
And gaddock teeg should have Ben a upgrade that card will really really slow down your opponents and just like blackblade only 3 power needed
