The Flintstones: The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak! is a 1993 platform game on the Nintendo Entertainment System developed by Taito. The game plays identically to its predecessor The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino & Hoppy. In it, Fred Flintstone and his best friend Barney Rubble must find their children who have mysteriously disappeared.

Is it possible to take the TAS of the original Fleenstones game and play it on Grand Dad?
Mad respect to those who TAS.
About ten years ago and inspired by the community, this game was the first I ever tried a blind TAS for. I had no clue what I was doing. That part at 0:40 took me 8 hours to get to, and it was nowhere near as optimized as what you see here.
Kudos to all you TASers. I salute you.
Cheerz❤
This run is Grand
Happy 30th anniversary to this game!
Didn’t know they made a sequel to ‘The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino & Hoppy’.
That was a good game
By the looks of it, this one sucks. Idk, the music, the levels, the map... I guess we now know why it wasn't as known
@@palidopaliProbably has more to do with the game being a late release for the NES, meaning less interest in the gaming public, combined with low production numbers, so it wasn't that common. (and is rare nowadays, commanding insane prices)
My cousin and I beat this game back in the day, really hard, fun memories.
I think it was a blockbuster exclusive.
@@mirabilis english version is really expensive however here in my country we used to play NES games with alternative cartridgres those that look like japanese.
@@valldn034 Dendy?
@@valldn034 Yes, it's rare and ridiculously expensive.
@@mirabilisHasn't the exclusivity story been debunked, there not being any real evidence of it?
True The Flinstones in latam call Los Picapiedra.
Back again Grand Dad 😀
Did you know there was only 12 NES games released in 1994 in North America- this game, Bonk's Adventure, Chip and Dale 2, Alfred Chicken, TMNT Tournament Fighters, Mega Man 6, Zoda's Revenge: Startropics II, Mickey's Aventure in Numberland, Mario's Time Machine, The Jungle Book, The Incredible Crash Test Dummies and Wario's Woods(the final NA NES game)
Thx 4 that info

I never played this game as a kid, but I know it’s one my mom would’ve told us we had to play with the volume off.
Fred and Barney are on some epic adventure and then randomly walk by their wives..... Hmm

7 GRAND DAD?!? FLINTSTONE?!?
Was all a misunderstanding, those poor kids just wanted some roasted marshmallows.
You misused a comma.
This game was also on SEGA Genesis too!
Nope
@@luisangelcastillo289 lol OK
It's funny to me that they had to both trademark "Yabba dabba doo" and then also have the trademark sign on screen at all times for most of the game

What's the lore behind the bosses having the Chaos Emeralds?
You might be surprised to know that sonic is actually a distant Flintstone relative. Back then the emeralds were prized only as a sign of stature, like having the best iPhone. The hidden powers of them were not discovered until ~3,400 years after the flintstones
Wtf bro

Why does the music have to go that hard.
