@@bobsmith93 You should know that JKL act as alternate back-pause-fwd buttons, but J and L skip 10 secs instead of 5. Additionally, K always pauses even if the video isn't focused, so you never have to deal with spacebar scrolling super far.
@@nickstott3119 thanks, I'm on mobile though. Double tapping skips ahead or backwards by 10 seconds. I don't think there's a 5 second skip on mobile, unfortunately

The recovery routes Scatt is implementing are looking promising for Snake's disadvantage.
I don't know what's more impressive. Scatt's absolutely bonkers recovery mix-ups, or Fatality's ability to challenge them.
Bro that gameplay is so satisfying to see. I love how both can play that good at that speed. I need more content like this haha.

Not to be a bummer to the party, but wouldn't it be more responsible to just not have someone 2 feet behind you playing a video game when they could be in another room and have 2 cameras set up? I mean they are close enough to touch elbows so I doubt that is the recommended 6 feet apart.

@@Flintc08 I know that. The person was saying how responsible he was being. I was saying it would be more responsible to be in separate rooms. It is not necessary to meet in the same room and play video games. I was commenting that he is not being super responsible as the original comment suggested. I had Covid and wore a mask whenever I went out. Masks are not 100% safe obviously so the most responsible thing to do if he wanted to make this video would be to be in another room with two cameras recording both players. I don't think this is the most responsible way to prevent the other person from getting infected but if they both want to play that close together that is their choice and fine with me. Just don't say he is being so serious about the pandemic when this is not a necessary activity.

Watching top level Snake actually makes me never want to reach top level. So many of these characters just suck the fun right out of the game after a certain skill floor
Respect to both players though, for the record. More of a character design criticism than a criticism of the player.
Well just play a different character then. Falcon isn’t fun to play against either if you’re a heavy for example.
I think on the same coin, your definition of 'fun' also changes when at top level too

@@doclouis4236 If he had a tranquilizer instead of Nikita, that would be a bit busted since it gives a free uptilt or C4. So they’d need to give a few adjustments like adding the tranq instead of nikita then making uptilt weaker or something. Like Project M. Rather that or just make that his Echo fighter The Big Boss.

Props to Fatality for winning as many as he did. As a CF main myself I dread going up against Snake. I hate fighting projectiles and C4 shenanigans make my blood boil. I feel like my brain has to work 3x overtime just to play the game.
ScAtt plays a mean snake though. Much different than WiFi matches. Props to both.

His frame 1 grenade is really what makes him so good. Makes it almost impossible to put him in disadvantage bc he just resets neutral every time you touch him.

Crazy how he’s not top 10. But its probably because all his moves are unsafe. As long as you have true combos, it should work on snake. Hes mad good still. If the Snake player is smart, he can be menacing the whole game. Thats why ScAtt is so entertaining imo, even his MegaMan

@@1smithersjj Snake main here. Scatt actually tried to put the C4 on the platform, but actually got lucky that Fatality Up B towards him to be in frame to stick him right before being grabbed.

snake just doesn't let you get anything going. can't get into a rhythm. think you have a combo? nope grenade. think you have an multihit move that strong hit at the end will kill? nope grenade will interrupt . think you have a grab? nope grenade. people still go on saying snake isn't top tier. and these people are delusional
True combos always work. Snake wont be able to break out of it. Frame toght combos too. And grabbing is really good vs Snake, if he has grenade you can still downthrow him and hell blow up and take the downthrow damage too, you wont take damage because of the throw invincibility. Also theres like 7 Frame 1 combo breakers in the game so idk if you struggle with all those too

Just here to show some snake love. As much as I like cheering for Fatality, I honestly think snake is so sick (I'm very aware as to how un popular this opinion is).
Scatt regrabbing the grenade off stage in order to get another cypher is genius and very cool. But he seems incredibly frustrating to play against
I think the Snake hate is probably due to Zonner in online play
I really dislike that his grenade is frame one and can combo break, that's completely unnecessary, after you manage to make your way around his numerous traps you still dont get rewarded because all he has to do is press the B button.
@@Soyblackpower I understand that completely but if his grenade didn’t come out as fast as it does he would not be very viable. B button spam is annoying but u just got to play around it
@@seanseiter8785 the problem is that there is no playing around it, the answer would be to not try to combo him which is the problem. he'd still be perfectly viable if it wasnt frame 1, I dont think any move in the game need to be frame one frankly, that just incentivizes it to be spammed. And he has probably the best dash attack and uptilt in the game and his normals all have good frame data and generous hit boxes. The only difference is he would get comboed harder, which is fine, falcon gets comboed for days as do many other characters and that doesnt make them bad characters.
Man.. I was hoping to see more of the insane tech he's been practicing.. I'm sad that I don't think I saw any of it during this :( is it just not optimal to go for? He was just playing how he normally does
Sometimes what you practice is harder to land on someone in real time. Also the apponent's play style can make you play a diff game. In this case against snake you cant really do good combos on because of his bombs

Not that it doesn't take skill to pilot him, quite the opposite, but I just hate the playstyle. Optimal Snake is grenade camp and take trades while you projectile spam until you get an opening for your kill move.

Should learn how to do falcon combos with snake grenades so that when you pick a grenade up accidentally while trying to combo u can use the nades as a combo starter or extender

good question, i waited the whole video looking for them
I guess they don't work on Snake, I mean he has a frame 1 escape option with grenades and most of IDJ-Combos are only true on characters with a frame 3+ escape option. Also the frame windows are pretty tight and you can escape most of them with DI-mixups.
In my opinion this is a really tough matchup for falcon. Or for a lot of characters tbh
Yeah for everyone besides the top tiers and a couple funny matchups like lucario and ness.
Snake actually has a lot of even matchups. Snake mainly destroys Ganon Icies Bayo Puff and Mac. The rest are -1 for them or even. Snake slightly loses like 8-9 matchups. And a lot of mid tiers somehow have decent matchups vs him like Belmonts Incin Byleth Hero etc. This matchup is -1 for Falcon at worst. Even at best but I definitely think its Slightly Snake favored
