- These are the steps I use to help avoid falling into the upsell traps that are out there just waiting for you.
I find these simples steps help to keep me focused on finding the tool I need not the tool they want me to buy.
I hope this will help you as well.

The topic of tool/machinery purchase decisions is a video idea that I had been pondering for about 3 months as we have all succumbed to the internet hype on tools in the past. Sometimes choices are as clear as night and day, others not so much. I use the Kepner-Tregoe decision analysis process as a guide when things aren't so clear. Thank you for rejuvenating the idea. Steve
Thanks Steve.
I purchased a Bosch 12v drill in an L Boxx systainer. Inside it had a space for a GHO 12v router. Choice made
Now have 5 routers and hate the things. They just sit there staring at me. I can hear them whispering to each other ‘come near me and I’ll rip your bloody fingers off’.😂
🤣
Whaaaat, just go by color. Just kidding now. Making a list that answers the basic questions you should be asking yourself in most tool buying and then careful rearranging of priorities till you come to a decent list and then find those careful internet suggestions. Beware of people who are just selling clicks or trying to get sponsor's of tools. Learn how to use the internet in tool buying or you will pay the price. Then you can color coordinate your tool shelf.
Dam, forgot to mention colour coordinating your shelf!
