In Kashmir and Pakistan there used to be a 70-30 split of Muslims and Hindus and now Hindus are less than 1%. Guy in red, sorry not sure of name, I always think it's worth thinking about other times in history in which violent resistance has been used and whether or not you think it was ok or not. For example, Nat Turner's slave Rebellion, 1831.

By the end of the next day, the rebels had attacked about 15 homes and killed between 55 and 60 whites - was this OK or no? Also look into violent resistance in apartheid South Africa 🤔. The actions are not justifiable but they are understandable. This goes for the atrocities on both sides.
There are 2 ways to respond:
1) Respond to one wrong with another wrong ( This is what is happening)
2) Understand WHY it happens, and respond in a way that fixes the root-cause issues and breaks the cycle of violence. As difficult as is seems, we can afford to , and can choose to respond in a peaceful way and break this cycle of violence from repeating.

Just a little perspective here. My father was in WWII, my brother in Nam ( I will say that I don't believe we should have been there). Things have changed over time, but to diminish the sacrifice of the military is truly sad. Do I agree with our government?
