In fairness, I went to uni with a Saudi and a person from malawi. Close friends. And they’re pretty smart, but as a Brit, I’m pretty sarcastic. And they did not get sarcasm for like 90% of the time. Trust me as an American millennial- most of my friends are educated in political topics but I know this is not the norm… it is extremely annoying/frustrating that we as the US have so much global power and yet so much ignorance in our citizenry… 1 of 2 political parties believes it is literally a good idea to defund public education, much less provide low cost/free college/trade school. At least my children will not be uneducated in important political matters. And I try to speak up when coworkers around me are tossing out their ignorant barely informed opinions that they inherited second hand from social media or their parents. That means they existed in the current Israel during AD100s. They were attacked by many and had to escaped to different countries and many had been killed during these years by Nazis and Ottoman empire. Finally during British rule, they paid money for the land and settled there, in the place they actually should have lived. Finally in 1948, 2 State agreement was established. Still Palestine attacked Israel after agreeing to the agreements and lost in the war. Nobody returns land after winning a war. So there were mistakes on both sides. But Terrorism is not a solution for peace process. As Hamas decided to conquer the world, including Israel, in the name of Islamic state. So I don't support Hamas. Israel is not attacking Palestine, it is attacking Hamas and its supporters.

I think interviews & discussions like this can be constructive, even if there are differing views, because if we don't have these types of discussions, then the hatred, divisions, and even war continues. Guys i really like what you did here in reacting to this interview. I just want to point out a couple of things. First, Hamas was created in the 80s as a resistance movement against israel cause the israelis were violating every human right of the Palestinians. So it is a resistance movement. This movement was listed as terrorism just because they are fighting Israel. They didn’t go anywhere else because they actually can’t. My second point is that the israeli existence was established in 1948 when the British empire made an agreement with the Jews to give them a place to settle in after the WWII without resorting to the Palestinians themselves. So the Jews went to Palestine using the Sea Boats with signs asking to welcome them because the west abolished them. So before 1948, there wasn’t any evidence of the existence of Israel as a country. So they occupied some places in Palestine and they started expanding although there was some sort of deals later on with the Palestinians held by the West. And bit by bit Israel occupied all of Palestine except for Gaza strip and the West Bank. My question for you guys is this: How can someone defend if he is already the invader, the occupier, the offender? And how can someone blame the Palestinians resisting throughout the decades? Israel slaughtered thousands of Palestinians and everyday there is a crime committed against the Palestinians whether it is killing, demolishing their homes, arresting children, killing civilians, controlling their basic needs like water, electricity, internet, medical services and finally preventing them from having the right to decide for themselves as a country or even having an Army. So guys please also you have to understand that the Western Media is only showing, concentrating and enlarging what Hamas did, and on the other hand they’re lying and purposely blinding the truth of what Israel is doing. As a Palestinian person, I want to thank you guys for this video, And I want to highlight some points. First of all, there are no grandmothers killed on live stream Facebook. This is fake just like the 40 decapitated babies. One of the grandmothers was released by Hamas, and in the interview, she said that they first told her they didn't want to kill her. They took care of her medications and gave her food. and even when she was released she shook hands with that person from Hamas! look for the interview, please. The second point is that life didn’t start on the 7th of October! It started many years before, so I’m now a refugee in another country, as Israel killed my grandparents, stole their homeland, and kicked those who survived out of Palestine to the neighborhood countries in “refugee camps”. (I live in one now) Israel created illegal settlements, known as Kibbutz, on the stolen lands. As a result of years of stealing lands, Palestine is now divided into three parts: the West Bank (governed by security coordination between the Israeli army and the “Palestinian authorities”), Gaza (governed by Hamas), and what is called “Israel” which we don’t recognize as a country, it is just an occupation. My last point is that the people of Gaza can’t go out not because other countries don’t let them. Hamas has a Uniform. They can't go out because Israel has put a siege on Gaza. Gaza is the biggest air prison in the world. Gaza is now deprived of water, fuel, electricity, and Internet connections with continuous Israeli bombing from the air, sea, and ground. European Jews came over and established little groups like Hamas and ethnically cleansed each neighborhood. One of those gangs was the Irgun gang which committed terrorist attacks against the British and Palestinians, one of which was the king David hotel. The head of the Jewish terrorist organization became the first Israeli president. Then year after year the European Jews took more land and kicked more Palestinians out. They pushed them into Gaza and the West Bank and maintained control over them till this day. Israel has 50 nukes the Palestinians don’t even have an army. The Palestinian authority salary goes through israel. So much so that an Israeli soldier can go to the West Bank and arrest a Palestinian police officer. Shockingly israel even started hamas as a counter power with the Palestinian authority in the West Bank. Israel initially gave hamas its salary the first couple of years until they didn’t need hamas. Hamas gives israel justification to oppress the Palestinians and Israel gives Hamas the justification to exist. So when bassem yousef says israel is really homelander, he ain’t lying.

That means they existed in the current Israel during AD100s. Finally during British rule, they paid money for the land and settled there, in the place they actually should have lived. Finally in 1948, 2 State agreement was established. Still Palestine attacked Israel after agreeing to the agreements and lost in the war. Nobody returns land after winning a war. So there were mistakes on both sides. But Terrorism is not a solution for peace process. As Hamas decided to conquer the world, including Israel, in the name of Islamic state. So I don't support Hamas. Israel is not attacking Palestine, it is attacking Hamas and its supporters.

Guys i really like what you did here in reacting to this interview. I just want to point out a couple of things. First, Hamas was created in the 80s as a resistance movement against israel cause the israelis were violating every human right of the Palestinians. So it is a resistance movement. This movement was listed as terrorism just because they are fighting Israel. They didn’t go anywhere else because they actually can’t. My second point is that the israeli existence was established in 1948 when the British empire made an agreement with the Jews to give them a place to settle in after the WWII without resorting to the Palestinians themselves. So the Jews went to Palestine using the Sea Boats with signs asking to welcome them because the west abolished them. So before 1948, there wasn’t any evidence of the existence of Israel as a country. So they occupied some places in Palestine and they started expanding although there was some sort of deals later on with the Palestinians held by the West. And bit by bit Israel occupied all of Palestine except for Gaza strip and the West Bank. My question for you guys is this: How can someone defend if he is already the invader, the occupier, the offender? And how can someone blame the Palestinians resisting throughout the decades? Israel slaughtered thousands of Palestinians and everyday there is a crime committed against the Palestinians whether it is killing, demolishing their homes, arresting children, killing civilians, controlling their basic needs like water, electricity, internet, medical services and finally preventing them from having the right to decide for themselves as a country or even having an Army. So guys please also you have to understand that the Western Media is only showing, concentrating and enlarging what Hamas did, and on the other hand they’re lying and purposely blinding the truth of what Israel is doing. As a Palestinian person, I want to thank you guys for this video, And I want to highlight some points.
First of all, there are no grandmothers killed on live stream Facebook. This is fake just like the 40 decapitated babies. One of the grandmothers was released by Hamas, and in the interview, she said that they first told her they didn't want to kill her. They took care of her medications and gave her food. and even when she was released she shook hands with that person from Hamas! look for the interview, please.
The second point is that life didn’t start on the 7th of October! It started many years before, so I’m now a refugee in another country, as Israel killed my grandparents, stole their homeland, and kicked those who survived out of Palestine to the neighborhood countries in “refugee camps”. (I live in one now)

As a result of years of stealing lands, Palestine is now divided into three parts: the West Bank (governed by security coordination between the Israeli army and the “Palestinian authorities”), Gaza (governed by Hamas), and what is called “Israel” which we don’t recognize as a country, it is just an occupation.
My last point is that the people of Gaza can’t go out not because other countries don’t let them. Hamas has a Uniform. They can't go out because Israel has put a siege on Gaza. Gaza is the biggest air prison in the world.
Gaza is now deprived of water, fuel, electricity, and Internet connections with continuous Israeli bombing from the air, sea, and ground. Imagine that Israel is doing this and still showing itself as a victim!
Till the moment I’m writing this comment, 8306 civilians in Gaza have been killed in 23 days, 3457 of them are children, 2136 are women, and 21048 are injured. Those are not just numbers! They had names, homes, hopes, stories, and loved ones.

Speaking as a guy with a masters in political science: Here’s a basic history lesson for people like the people in this video who just began following what’s happening there. 76 years ago the entire land was Palestine. European Jews came over and established little groups like Hamas and ethnically cleansed each neighborhood. One of those gangs was the Irgun gang which committed terrorist attacks against the British and Palestinians, one of which was the king David hotel. The head of the Jewish terrorist organization became the first Israeli president. Then year after year the European Jews took more land and kicked more Palestinians out. They pushed them into Gaza and the West Bank and maintained control over them till this day. Israel has 50 nukes the Palestinians don’t even have an army. The Palestinian authority salary goes through israel. So much so that an Israeli soldier can go to the West Bank and arrest a Palestinian police officer. Shockingly israel even started hamas as a counter power with the Palestinian authority in the West Bank. Israel initially gave hamas its salary the first couple of years until they didn’t need hamas. Hamas gives israel justification to oppress the Palestinians and Israel gives Hamas the justification to exist. So when bassem yousef says israel is really homelander, he ain’t lying.
