As a Texan (or Taxen for the dyslexic) this was enjoyable.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre is such a classic family friendly film! 😂
As a resident of Louisiana, I look forward to the requirement that a Louisiana movie include Mardi Gras (and then a complete lack of surprise when it doesn't knock a single movie off the list, because every Louisiana movie has Mardi Gras in it, no matter what time of year it is set)
I think this is a fantastic idea for a series!!
I liked this! Can't wait for wisconsin ❤
"THE STARS AT NIIIIGHT AND BIG AND BRIIIIIIIIGHT...."
👏👏👏👏
The checklist forgot one thing - GUNS! ...Otherwise pretty much frighteningly accurate.
This will be a good series. Can't wait for California and how you need to play California Love when you need to tell people that this movie is in California.
I thoroughly enjoyed this vid, and look forward to the rest of the series.
This sounds like an awesome series. Can’t wait for my state of Minnesota!
Fun! Can't wait for all 50
Absolutely FLOORED that Bernie didn’t get a mention here. Not only a true Texas crime adaptation but it also features Matty McC as a lawman ⭐️
this is a good idea for a new series, im on board
Lone Star is a great movie!
Matthew McConaughey also provides the voice for Austin, TX Emergency Alert System
This seems like an awesome series , I’m very excited , keep it up this was a great first episode
As a Boomer Texan, I can highly approve of this movie Lone Star.I really liked it... I mean, dam* ,it's got everything in there.
The dyslexic joke caught me off guard and I chortled. I don't watch much on this channel besides the movie store series but I'm really looking forward to the other installments of this
Can't wait for the next episode!
i love this, cant wait to see the rest
This was great!
You forgot Country Joe with Matthew McConaughey but alas, this video was Texas gold.
I am from Virginia. I am dying to see what you pick for a state with no identity. No politics, that's D.C. and no military stuff, because every state has military stuff. Good luck 😂
Kind of wish that twist wasn't spoiled here, because Lone Star sounds like a really good movie. Could have said, "after the reveal of a heavy twist, she utters the line..." Or something. Otherwise, good video and fun idea for a series
Somehow, The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas isn't even mentioned in this video
and that's a shame.
Can't wait to see what movie represents my state of Wyoming! Even though I already know it's going to be either Wind River or Brokeback Mountain.
I was hoping he’d mention Lone Star and boy howdy was I not disappointed.
Why did they show a picture of bean soup when talking about chili?
Texas Chilli doesn't have beans.
Yeah that's one thing that always gets my goat...
All of the cook offs I went to had a mix.
Hard agree
Idk what the point is, but so is hot dog chili, without beans, as it's supposed to be
Stop being a tool. Texas chili can have beans and it’s how I prefer it.
I’m out at 1:09. Can’t have an opinion on a Texas movie if you’re that wrong about Chili.
Fart wav files? How clever and extremely hilarious. What happened to cracked?
True Stories. More realistic than most any other texas film.
Lonesome Dove
The Saw is Family.
New Jersey next
Forget about it Jake, it's Killeen.
Looking forward to Arkansas
disappointed you never even mentioned The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
And no Getaway.....
You missed spits. Jars of it.
I'm definitely biased, but I'm happy that Texas was the subject of episode 1.
this video is painful to watch. they are trying to add too much drama. "Whip it" was filmed in texas, and it doesn't do all this crap.
What? No "Debbie Does Dallas"?
Sir, this is a wendy's
I hope he keeps the food metaphor for all the states. The scrapple of PA. The gumbo of Louisiana. The unholy heart attack abomination of Wisconsin
In shock to hear raider rash from anywhere but here.and as lubbock, texan yes it is a real thing if anybody is wondering.
What happened to Horton? Did they fire him?
We gave him his own channel @honest_ads
This is great, but as a Texan, I have to point out that real chilli doesn’t have beans.
As an ex-pat I think we were wrong about no beans.
You mean as a nerd. As a Mexican I don't have to point out that you're supposed to eat burritos with a fork, cause I'm normal.
Y do people still get to dress up like cowboys and nobody cares. Its 2024. I cant dress up as a ninja or pirate and bo one care.
Too much needless talk.
I was born in texas, live there currently, and can say every one of these 14 minutes was painful as hell. The tone is painful. John Waynes version of the alamo did not even mention football. okay, that was funny, but you are just trying to add drama like a kardashian. Texas isn't an added drama kind of place. Maybe spend a week in the state before you say you are going to talk about it. That would help you get the tone right. And if Mexico really loved and cherished the land under texas, why did they do nothing more than build a fort or two in San Antonio? Sam Houston wanted to settle down and build an american society. Thats why when Sam Houston came to texas, the mexicans who lived here didn't kick him out.... not even the mexicans wanted to live here.
Do you live in Odessa? Sounds like you’ve been drinking that fracked water champ 😂😂😂
Howdy fella
