Andy's voice is the most therapeutic thing ever.
you are so right! I was not sure why I enjoy this video that much
True f9r me too.
Right!!!
@@mikemihay sir David Attenborough would have a thing to say about that
This was like watching Andy walk around in his own mind. Wide open space, fresh air and peaceful. Great and insightful video, wish I could be there to enjoy that experience in such a beautiful location.
A liberated Monk indeed
“Meditation brings wisdom. Lack of meditation leaves ignorance. Know well what moves you forward and what holds you back.” -Gautama Buddha.
It’s extremely difficult for me to live on a planet with people that doesn’t care about what is around them. I was diagnosed as a sensitive person. This means sensitive about everything around me, food, people, medication so on. I am bipolar, PTSD, anxiety, OCD on top of that. At the age of 5 I wanted to die because I realize that the world was too much for me and I couldn’t live on this planet. Andy voice help me to cope with my life. For me meditation is a tool to stay well mentally and resource myself inside of me.
You are not alone brother. I feel you.
sending love. the world is a harsh place. love and peace is still with us somewhere
This was like reading myself Marcus, sometimes it's just to much to take in, specially in a violent environment as this world can be, the smallest thing can turn you upside down and, you don't know how to deal with feeling everything and everyone around you. There's comfort to know I'm not alone.
I understand Completely. :)
I hope the best for you though. You can get through it .
I am a highly sensitive person too. Racism and animal cruelty appall me, violence through a tv screen feels like its happening to me and its traumatising.. smells and sights affect me so much more than the average person and i tend to need time to let things sink in as notice all the details. The tone people use when they speak means so much to me and I feel that I rarely find people that care at the level that i do, or at least know how to show it... lifes a journey, lets be gentle with ourselves!

You are so brave thank you for sharing.
I love this concept of Andy talking to us and explaining stuff to us while walking! Fantastic place to, well done!
This guy is so likeable. Ever since first stumbling across him some years ago then discovering he founded headspace, I couldn’t think of a better person to share such knowledge
I've been a Headspace subscriber for approx 6-months---and I absolutely love it!
Andy I am a headspace fan from when you first came to North America. There has been nothing more life changing for me than meditation
I wish I could find someone like you Andy. You seem like you would be an amazing lover
And the academy award for the best single shot in cinematography no longer goes to 1917.
Jake Young 🤣🤣🤣🤣👌
You’ve honestly saved my life, Andy, thank you x
Same for me as well.. Andy is an awesome authentic humanbeing
@@immortalf1719 all monks are. Look up videos on how peaceful and happy they live their lives. You will be tempted to become a monk lol.
Please make these into podcasts so we can go on walks with you
Stumbled upon Andy and all of his words of wisdom and he's real and gets right to the heart of things and def relatable to everyone personalizes topics/stories always and makes you feel sooooo much better
Shine bright like a diamond
I love active meditation. Some of the biggest breakthroughs, messages and channeling I've received have been when I was in a meditative state while walking.
Meditation has always been a spiritual practice for me, with the additional benefits being numerous. This was a great insight into thoughts on meditation.
Something else that feels extremely meaningful, but is much more subtle: I don't think I've ever heard Andy say "must." "You must." It's always "you should", "you might," "we probably," and so on. That's another form of kindness, compassion and humilty. And let me tell you, that is one of the things that makes me feel Headspace is such a reliable thing. I trust Headspace and Andy because no matter how "trendy" meditation and mindfulness have become, and no matter how much I hear about Headspace, I have never felt they are a corporation trying to SELL YOU THINGS! To me, it feels like they are truly doing their best, most honest, most helpful part with others. Love it. So again, thank you for that.
I've been doing Headspace for 2ish years now. I saw a video a while back where you were in Lake Powell and it inspired me to propose it as a trip for my Outdoor Program at ISU (me and fellow leaders take students on trips from California to Florida and even Alaska, and everywhere in-between doing stuff like climbing kayaking etc). Long story short, it got approved so I will be leading a trip there this spring, so it's really cool to see someone who has guided me for so many years walking around somewhere that I'll be soon.
Meditation changed my life. I hope you're wearing sun screen, Andy!
Sun screen is important 🤣
Are you serious that this video was released an hr ago!? This must be destiny. I took a shower then and had the urge to listen to a headspace YT video and this one looked perfect topic-wise. Thank you for making this & releasing it in perfect timing :D
"It was probably a hear and a half, maybe two years after leaving the retreat, that the retreat started to make sense, you know? It's almost as though the rational mind needs that time to absorb whatever kind of insight or change has kind of taken place during that time, so never be discouraged." Loved that bit. Andyyyy, you are love and wisdom and wonder and awesome things happening all over the place. Thank you for being a human and for doing something with all of your humanity, thank you for sharing your insightful thoughts and learnings and beliefs, in hopes of helping others. You're definitely helping me, even if I can't know its whole impact yet 🍀 Always love, and best wishes to everyone, stay safe, loves 🌻🌻🌻
This "walking meditation" for me was wonderful - it was over before I realised it!
The pandemic really put my mind off-kilter. At the suggestion of someone I respect, I became a Headspace subscriber. Meditation and mindfulness have sustained me over the past couple of months. Although I still have moments where I am unsettled, I believe that Headspace has been transformative. This video really made an impression on me. I liked how Mr. Puddicombe took us on a hike and how he just talked. It didn't feel scripted, but seemed like a conversation. Thank you for taking some time out of your life to share this with us.
I so agree about walking talking and being in the car talking. I feel it’s to do with both facing forwards and not directly looking at one another. That and the rhythm of the walk. I love those conversations- they have depth
I love Andy, such a kind loving human being.
Andy has such a soothing, peaceful voice 😁
Arrousing and calming at the same time. 😁 Much love for Andy
Thank you Andy!!! As usual I found this exactly when I needed it, not necessarily when you posted it. You are a gem. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I love listening to Me. Puddicombe. His voice is the most calming and therapeutic voice I have ever heard. I could listen to him 24/7. His sessions are very useful. I have anxiety and his meditation sessions are very useful and welcoming.
we love you andy
A refreshing talk Andy, thank you for sharing. It is good to be reminded of the importance of developing this sense of mental space that allows us to have the ability to stay open and less likely to fall into the habitual thought patterns. Much love.
I feel like hiking with Andy ❤️
WOW! Seeing Andy in video changes everything!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful walk with Andy.
This series should be called
Man vs Mind
Thanks Andy your the best teacher ever!
Andy you’re da bomb. Love the app and you’re great Headspace
My friend and I were just wondering about Utah today. What a refreshing and generous piece of content.
Your literally my hero andy
What we’re looking for is “already right here.” Agreed. Nature is all and everything there is I don’t need imagination to escape from it I need to appreciate reality to not waste it.
Thank you! This seres is a great supplement to my meditation practice. Ive re-watched this video several times.
andy please come back where ever you are
So lovely to see you finally
Andy is love !!!
I just want to say, never understanding the full spectrum of meditation Andy has really changed my life and I have so much to thank him for this. I’m able to be more present in my life and overcame the hardships through his help.
Thank you Andy where ever you are
My guy Andy 🤘🏻 you’re the best
Thank you Andy. Been watching more of your videos to learn more.
Thanks Andy, very powerful thoughts.
Thanks for the enlightenment Andy 🙏
Thank you so much for this, felt like I was experiencing this beautiful walk too. 🙌
I had a bad experience a few months ago, and then another a few weeks later. A mate who has tried to help me get past it said, try headspace. So I started meditating and doing your sessions daily. So here I am a month and a half later meditating and it has honestly helped so much. So thank you Andy! And the entire team behind headspace. I only wish that there was a student discount for us Aussies or the ability to access the Spotify bundle cos there is only so many times that you can repeat the basics 😂
TaziH3ro I have watched the basics a little bit too many times. I have memorized every sentence. Desperate student over here.
JP bling I feel ya mate 👌
I bit the bullet and bought the lifetime membership
i love this man
Thank you. You saved my life.
So smooth ahhh love the voice
You changed my life andy.
This is a really nice way to share. Nature. In person. Sharing. Thumbs up
Can we please get a playlist with just Andy's videos? We like Andy.
Love it, please more!
I love this type of video!
Thank you - much appreciated 🍒
Wow this is better than I sorta expected as far as putting a voice to a person; couldn't help but wonder about it ya know. This makes my 'Head Space' that much more of a pleasant & meaningful experience. This little part here from ---> 18:31 thru 19:11 *just really resonates for me* 🙏thank you so much🙏👍✌
Спасибо, Энди
Love this
Best video I've ever seen/listened to
I agree. It was excellent!
Loved it!
This was amazing!
I think letting go of that need to "make something" out of meditation really helps to free your mind. And to let go of the story/identity you've made for yourself, and realize that you just have to live
Can we get more of these videos. We need more chatting with Andy and being out in nature!
Beautiful, valuable
Love this! Next time you come to Utah hit me up 🤙 I would love to hike and meditate with you brotha
Saying he learnt to be a bit more kind and present and NOT the secrets of the universe is eye opening
Hws verry out of breath really quick but I still love and respect him he’s the reason I chose to add meditation into my life at all
Probably because he’s climbing mountains both metaphorically and physically
Hi Andy thank you for sharing! do you feel less tired if you sit down?
I meditate in several ways for several reasons... one is to enter a purer Stream of Spirit. "Open the doors of your hearts. He Who is the Spirit verily standeth before them." ~ Tablets of Baha'u'llah, Baha'i Faith
Wow. The face of that calm voice! 😂 I like the app a lot. Ten min a day is quite nice.
The translation part I can totally relate lol
Very disappointed at the end of this great video to find that the promised 10 minutes of meditation on top of the world had been axed. Perhaps it was too cold !
Hahahaha!!! Love you Andy!
🙏
It the voices face!!!!!
❤
💖
The voice
Wow Andy, your location on this video is beautiful. Where is it??
i feel out of breathe
Wow 👄
😀
Where is that?
Good video. In Buddhism there are two types of meditation Samatha and Vipassana. It appears this video is about Samatha. Anyway if you wish to learn more about these topics Google "Dhamma Wheel" and join our Dhamma discussion.
Everybody sending love to Andy but what about the cameraman smh he did a fine job tho he is probably as tired as andy
Just bring the attention back to the body
1:19
what was the tempeture there if you don't mind asking? I imagine it was hot! (;
He mentioned it was quite cold at the end..
7th comment you guys
I use to think meditation was magic but now I realize that it's not ninja magic

ya im not liking it....i feel hyperventilated
Breathe... exhale... Inhale through the nose.. one, two, three, four. Hold.. one, two, three, four exhale.. now exhale through the mouth.. a slight pause, one two... and repeat, until no longer hyperventilated. 😋🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
So meditating makes you bald?
He was a monk, so, he had to shave his head.
Yes, if you combined meditating with cutting your hair
No but being a monk does entail shaving your head 'funny' guy.
