LIVE: Courtney Clenney Hearing - New Charge, Parents' Arrest, Gag Order, More

- In this live stream, we're going over the most recent hearing in FL v. Courtney Clenney. This case is also popularly known as the "OnlyFans Murder Case." Courtney is on trial for murder for the 2022 death of her then-boyfriend, Christian Obumseli. She claims she was using self-defense when she threw a knife at him. The State's medical examiner has stated that she couldn't have thrown the knife, but instead stabbed him in close range.
In this hearing, we get a window into some of the pretrial litigation issues that have been ongoing in the case. Some of those issues relate to the recent arrest of Courtney's parents, Kim and Deborah Clenney. Others relate to statements the defense has been making to the public in response to media coverage of the case. There are some very interesting issues to dig into, some of which will be resolved at a follow-up hearing on February 16th. Come join!!

The defense walks in circles before getting to the point. He seemed to be whining because the prosecution is better able to handle the press than him. The media would eventually leave you alone if you stopped answering their calls. Instead they seem to take everything personally, get triggered and blurt out things that make them look bad in end.

Lots of Canadians live in Miami, especially during the winter. They might have permanently moved back.
They should allow them to film the docu-series but not release it until the trial is over. They could then have a "shock" "twist" at the end where she is found guilty of murder.

I think the fob thing goes against the defense. Courtney had lost her fob. So isn’t that them admitting she knew he had to get on the elevator with her in order for her to get into the apartment? Especially when their position previously was “she clearly didn’t want him on the elevator with her”… but now you just admitted she couldn’t go up without him. Which also makes it look worse that she’s smacking the buttons in the elevator alone, knowing she can’t go anywhere. And brings to light that he was running to the elevator because he saw her smacking the screen possibly causing property damage and he knew he had the only fob(not their previous position that he was charging her). I would think that the defense wouldn’t want to highlight that.
Why does the prosecuting attorney keep saying umm? Curious! Seems he’s trying to come up with words!🤠

This is one of the sickest cases I ever heard in some time and that’s saying something nowadays. But Parents are not wrong for standing by their children - it’s genetic bias, hard-wired and it’s natural.
It also doesn’t matter because she was an ADULT. Adults are legally responsible for their own actions. Parents should not be legally responsible for the actions of their children if they are over 18.

Im sure it was easy for the medical examiner to tell the difference between a thrown knife and a knife used as a stabbing weapon directly. Like probably with a 3 second glance......what a terrible defense, and it doesn't really make her less culpable. Without premeditation and in the heat of the moment killed her boyfriend with a knife. Does how it ocurred beyomd those facts change what crime she is culpable.of? Nope......

This was a doomed relationship. Either one of them was at risk of a fentanyl overdose and Obumselli was at risk of cryptocurrency tanking and Klenny kicking him to the curb because he wasn't wealthy anymore.

He’s always so angry and aggressive I don’t think it’s going to help them.
I remember lawandlumber saying people pick attorneys that are like them. And that proved to be so true in depp v heard. Her attorneys were rude, abrasive, and aggressive. And juries usually don’t like that. That seems to be the case here too. Which speaks volumes toward Ms. Clenney. He should let the woman take the lead. I can’t remember her name but she’s way less abrasive and a lot more respectful.

Why He didn't leave. If I tells someone to get away from me, to leave. If that person is not leaving. I will take that as abuse and treat to my well-being. And I will use all means necessary in my power to defend my self from that person. He was abusing and irritating her.

Was your girlfriend attacking you? She was also drunk and hitting him. I think that they both should have stepped away from each other but I think they both found it difficult to leave despite her saying to leave. They did continue to date. One can say that her behavior was disgusting too.
