    CONTEXT:
On the morning of January 29, 2022, John O'Keefe's body was found on a snowy lawn in front of the home of fellow police officer Brian Albert. The night before, he had gone to a bar with his girlfriend, Karen Read, as well as some friends and acquaintances, including Brian. Not long after, Karen was charged with John's murder, but her defense alleges that she is being framed by the group of people who met up at Brian's home after the bar closed. Trial begins Tuesday, April 16, 2024 with jury selection.

The fact that the prosecution wants the juror to believe that John’s body was laying there and about 10 people left the home and didn’t see a body is insane. I feel like that hurts the states case about Karen Read hitting him and he was just laying there and 10 people didn’t see him. Is absolutely insane.

The one thing I keep coming back to is, a man is lying dead on the lawn of someone's house, and the police did not go into the house and also didn't interview all the occupants of the house till months later. This definitely stinks to high heaven of a cover up

The headlights of every car that backed out of the driveway to pass by the house would have shined across the ENTIRE lawn as the car slowly went from an angle to straighten out in the road. In those bright lights, not one person saw a large body, excessive blood lost, shoe, hat or 47 pieces of red plastic??

There's a pretty big CZcamsr who trains police dogs and prottion dogs. I watched an interview with him on another Attorney's CZcams channel and he said without out a shadow of doubt those cuts on Johns arm are dog bites. He also sent the photos to several other K9 hander cops and they immediately said dog bites.
When dogs aren't trained properly or they just dont make the cut, they will make shallow bites with the canines only .When the person is bit, they pull the arm to get away from thebite which causes lacerations, not puncture wounds. Also, just doing a simple Google search of dog bites, you see, most of them look like they were cut with a knife. I really hope the defense brings in some kind of expert in dog bites or even a protection dog trainer who knows about dog bites. I'll go find the name of the channel and the video title if anyone wants to go check it out.

    • @Lawh
      @Lawh Před 25 dny

@@sallycinnamon5370 I feel that it's more likely that something happened to him somewhere around the property, and that two or more people made the only available plan that allowed them to avoid having to deal with a death.
Any death inside the house and after he was dropped off was on them. Especially if the death was not clear to be accidental. The very last moment that was outside their responsibility was as he was dropped off. Since we have yet to hear from any medical professionals about his injuries, like did he receive a blow or injury after or before death and so on, it's difficult to say anything. There is so much reasonable suspicion around every aspect of this case thus far, and there has yet to be a single piece of evidence supporting the prosecution's theory.

There may have been others who echoed it too but I can’t remember.

Thank you, I forget you take transcripts. They will come in handy when we are 80 witnesses in. Have fun going through those!
I feel the prosecution failed in each case to ask the extra question to elaborate on how much snow was actually under him.
The question was also potentially avoided on cross, because the answer is likely that there was much less depth of snow snow under him. Again I don't consider it proof of anything personally.
Am I sad for being excited by the potential for a snow expert on this case? 😂
I am on the side that this is all very suspicious either way.

If I had seen something that might have been said body in the snow, knowing how this case was going, I'd be screaming from the rooftops ....hey, I saw something I saw something. You would know darn well it was extremely important to the case. You wouldn't just now be saying something. You may have even gone to the press to tell what you saw ,especially since you were so tight with the family. That one thing might make people believe the family had nothing to do with it. I 100% believe she's now making this up. She was just feet away had she really seen something, you would know it was a body. When Karen came looking for John hours later, she immediately saw him, and he would have been much more covered by snow at the time . If you just break it down and use common sense, it doesn't add up.

But she is only saying she hadn’t give the height of the object? I think the defence is doing awful - I don’t know what the attitude towards the Boston police is over there, but it’s obviously awful as the bias is really odd to me. She obviously hit the guy, the tail light is there and they were clearly having a row which is why they were parked outside and not going straight in. A conspiracy involving that many people - give me a break, there’s no way! Dublin, Ireland.

I haven't seen any irrefutable evidence that she did hit him and cause his death, the questioning from defense and how everyone is answering definitely leaves some witnesses looking really shady and questionable, and has so far shown the negligence from the police department to properly secure and procure the evidence. Without video proof, we cannot say if she did or didn't hit him, much like we can't say that the piece(s) of taillight were not planted after the fact. There is witness testimony where not everyone is corroborating the same story eg her yelling "I killed him" vs "is he dead". Why were phone calls shortly answered in the middle of the night but witnesses are denying even taking those calls? A missed call whether they left a voice mail or not does not show a length of time, just a missed call icon. Length of time only shows when you've answered the call. I personally think, based on current evidence, she's not guilty or at the very least the evidence doesn't prove without a doubt that she did kill him. I am fully neutral about police myself, and the defense could have 0 issues with police from a moral stand point but are showing this specific force's incompetence/ possible deception in this investigation.

A conviction requires evidence, because a lot of things are possible. There are numerous possible outcomes from that night, but thus far there has been no evidence to point towards Read in any way. At this point it has been shown that she dropped O'Keefe off, and that's it. This is demonstrated only because she said she did and everyone agreeing to it.
