I enjoyed Robert's facts and figures on these Anniversary Editions. My favorite is the Limited fully optioned 427 Convertible. What is/was unique about it is that the convertible top had the stripes dyed or woven into it. If I had one, I'd see if I could order one from GM to just have on hand. If something should happen to one's original top, I don't know if a custom upholsterer could even make one. I did test drive the 427 convertible and was not impressed with performance. Probably because of the extra weight required by the convertible's mechanism. The coupe is definitely faster, but more times than, it's not how fast you get from Point A to Point B, but how you look doing it. 😁 I do like the ZO6 Coupe that CW has. Save the Wave 👋
I love that 427 Convertible. At the time it came out, it was the best thing America ever produced in my opinion. The combination of power and class. But you really have to put yourself in that year and look what else you could get. Yes, the ZR-1 existed and had more power, but I just hate that hood, and it's not really different in look from the C6Z hard top. If you look around at cars from the period, maybe some stuff was as fast, but not with a drop-top. The 911 Turbo was literally twice the price, so that doesn't count. Oh well. Then we had the valve drop scandal, and new models came out, etc.. Thanks.
Purchased used in 2015 a '13 427 convertible 60th anniversary in black with tan interior. 😍 Loved the torque & deeper sound of the LS7 motor. I believe the brochure said the hood & front fenders were CF. Also the 427 convertible had a steel frame vs the Z06 aluminum frame, approximately 200lbs. lighter. Ended up trading for a '17 Z06. In a perfect world, would keep both. 😊

I own a 2013 60th Anniversary Grand Sport with 26k miles. A really great car to drive, and hope to keep it for many years.
I used to own a 2013 Grand Sport with the 60th anniversary package. Very fun, reliable car.
I had a choice between a C6 Z06 and C6 GS manual and newer. I took the Z06. Owned it for 2 years and had the heads done….twice before selling it when the oil pressure started to decrease. I’m pretty confident if I had chosen GS, I would still own it. Too many engineering compromises with the LS7.

I think the rpo for the hood was b92 . My carbon had it and the underside was unpainted which was a nice touch.

I love my 60th Anniversary Grand Sport with a manual. Don't love my wrinkled leather dash though. I wonder how many of the Anniversary Grand Sports came with a manual. I just turned 40k miles and look forward to the next 60k miles.
Same! I too have a 60th GS / Anniversary package. Mine has 19k miles and too has a wrinkled dash. Starting to explore options to repair but not in a hurry. Either pulling the dash or windshield. No fun.

I own 2013 60th Grand Sport. 6 speed. I don't talk about that 6 speed is a Dry Sump and the Automatic are normal Wet Sump.
Also the 6 speed is coming from the Factory is 450 Hp . The Automatic is 426 Hp . I know for sure because I as President of a Corvette Club. I test at my local Dyno.

The front of the C6 is so awkward looking.... it's never looked right to me. Worst looking front end of any Corvette.
I think they look good, not in white though. I think the body matched headlights look goofy too

I have a 2010 Grand Sport convertible with 5000 miles. Black Betty is a Beautiful car. I’ll take it over ZO6 any day
