Where is corvette world?
Are their listed prices just "asking" prices? I look up C7's 2-3 times a month and Corvette Worlds prices are definitely higher than I've seen anywhere else. On top of that they usually have autotragic transmissions.

What makes me scratch my head is the price C6's are going for. Before Covid, I could find LS3 C6's with decently low miles for 22-25k all day long. Now they are pushing 40K! The best deals out there right now are on C5's. Everything else you have to be willing to pay a premium for.
I was looking at corvettes a lot before Covid and prices were affordable, now I might be in the position to look again and the prices are wild. Not sure I even wanna get one, but C5’s have grown on me

Yeah, I get it, car prices are high, inflation is up, when we were kids, candy bars were a nickle, but a 25 percent off sale? You must be tripping. Let's see, lets do a random sample on that red 2015 Z06 with Z07 and 4200 miles listed at 75 grand, your market price would be 56,250! I'm not in the market right now, but if that was the price, I would uber from the west coast to pick up that car immediately.....so you may be a little off on your 25 percent sale, I mean I love the enthusiasim, but you have to come out of that dream you are stuck in....
I'm sure I mentioned it in one of your other videos, but I purchased (May 2023) a 2016 Z06, 3LZ, convertible, auto, in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic, with Kalahari interior. It has the body colored vent option and carbon hood. It is bad ass. I love it. Thanks again for the Corvette content!
LOL. So as of 2PM CST on 8-8-2023 the 2013 Z06 is still available, but we just sold the 2019 Ceramic Gray coupe.

Awesome video but the cars are still priced a little high esp in the used (like new) condition and for me mostly automatics so thats a no go for me. But beautiful dealership.

I used to get Z06 calls asking if I'd pay 50 over, then 40 over....in the last couple weeks I've had multiple calls asking if I'd pay 30 over. Must be a lot of people walking away from orders.

I like the 2013 ZO6. I like the anniversary models. I would like to have a 2003 50th anniversary C5. It would be my first corvette purchase.

Wanted to thank you Mike for your great channel. Also in regards to my favorite Vette, I would have to say it's the one my wife just bought for me. A 2023 Z51 3LT HTC in Ceramic Matrix Gray with Adrenaline Red Dipped interior and Trident wheels. This was the fulfilment of a 45 year dream I've had.

Tell me.. Whats the PRO/CON of shopping at Corvette world and probably paying a considerable mark up over going to a dealer and their mark up?
I think that red 3lz and yellow 3lz may still be available due to the dash issue or those earlier year z06s known for running hot and going into limp mode
GM issued a recall to correct that issue. Both are super nice especially the Red with the ZO7 package. I'd check the vin and that would tell you if the recall for that one is still open or it's been done.
Prices are high accross the board. 2014-2016 Z51 cars are less than 40k at this point. Here is a hint, they are all *low mileage, like new* because these live in garages driven on Sundays.

I went to the biggest Vett dealer in south Jersey and I bought a Mustang GT LOL... Yeah they still want 85K Used to 110K new for a C-8 the Z06 was 175,000... Even the Camaro's are way over priced still.. Car's have come down a few grand, but they went up by like 10/20/30 grand over MSRP.. So coming down by a couple grand really isn't a savings to me.. I saw a GR Corolla selling for 50K for Christ sake.. LMAO..

I love the 2013 Z06 and was headed in that direction until I found out the roof doesn’t remove. So now looking for a 2012/13 grand sport. Good info. Thx for posting.

Love my 2012 Centenniel Edition ZO7 equipped ZO6. Bought it in summer 2914 with 14,000 miles for $55,000. Will pass it onto my son who is now only 6 years old. Keep it in the family.

Even with the price increase you still can buy a new one for less than a used 2020. I would think the prices should drop on the used ones a bit.

I hate you! I had to fast forward to the around the 24-minute mark to the 2013 Anniversary Edition ZO6. I think way back when, Corvette World had this same ZO6 but with the ZO7 package. Now THAT ONE was a Unicorn. But this one ain't bad to say the least. The 2013 Anniversary Edition GS is very, very nice and the price on it is not too bad. Another great walkaround Mike. The C8 is ok if you get it in black or red I don't like them in any other colors but the C7 looks great in all colors especially if you stay away from the base models to me the cheaper models just look horrible there's no hiding the fact that you went the "cheap route" when you opt for the base model

What’s the big deal with doing a couple of Track days, if the preparation was done correctly and documented? I have 14K miles on mine and have changed my oil 8 times because I used 15W-50 Mobile 1.

Hello, I'm from Israel, I received an amazing 2023 c8 yesterday after a long wait, the question was carplay connection with a cable, it was a requirement of the dealer in Israel!, I would love to know if anyone knows if it is possible to change the carplay to wireless without
a cable ??

The manufacturer blocked it.
They must have dropped a lot from the time this video was made to now. I started to see used Corvette C8 going from high 60s to high 80s on the high packages. Dealers are sitting on new 2023 for MSRP and they already have the 2024 sitting/on the way. I’m sure the Corvette Z06 and the crazy high inventory plus bad economy are hitting these prices hard.
C8's are not sitting.. Its an amazingly popular car and great value. They are selling them like hot cakes and people are still getting led to a barely used one with 300-3k miles rather then wait 1 year plus for a new one, and they will pay the same price (back during covid, they would pay slightly MORE for a used one now then a new one months and months away!).
I just spoke with a new C8 owner last week, he was at least 8 months away on his build slot but was offered 30k to get it NOW. He held at paying only a 15k markup in negotiations and got the car sooner. That's the C8 market for the foreseeable future.
I'd love a C8, but can better afford a c7. ill buy this winter with "moderate to little" regard for what the market is doing, as long as i get a fair deal all around. Honestly, its not fair to gouge your dealership. Your salesmen have families to feed and is providing an item you DO NOT need (in this case).
I'm in the boat sales industry, and one thing that really gets to me is super rich/wealthy people who are determined to basically buy the XX at cost. I understand wanting the "best" deal, but again, this is not health insurance, its a high value luxury item. I DO NOT WANT you to pay full sticker price, i want you to get a good deal, a FAIR deal that makes everyone happy. When i sell you X, and help me feed my family and make a living, there's not much i wont do for you after the sale. Your going on my speed dial, call me anytime, im your bulldog for poking service, im personally inviting you to any events we are holding.
But when you have zero regard for what goes into maintaining (any) dealership, its employees and the services we provide, and gouge us on an unsustainable margin of profit. if you can afford a 1m$ boat or a 100k car, you can afford to get it at a fair price for both sides.
@@fireblade274 let me clarify. The ones with mark ups “market adjustment” are sitting. I have a few dealerships spamming my email trying to convince me. The ones that sell are at MSRP, you can also order them for MSRP with your custom options. That said the current economic situation plus the mass production of the C8 is what is driving the prices back to normal.
As a sales man you should be happy you sell x15 cars at MSRP vs x1 with a high markup.
Everything is supply vs demand and unfortunately the Stingray is never a car that was meant to be rare or a collectors car. So with the introduction of the Z06 and E-Ray the regular stingray just went back to it’s target market.
So yea, solid car for the price but nothing to be paid over MSRP when there are 101k out there and 50k more targeted for 2024.
@@ulises8483 im lucky if i sell 2 boats a month, we have less volume and must in turn have higher margins, so my world experience is a little different then cars...
While my example of the dude i met last week is anecdotal, if someone has the money and wants the car, they will pay 15k more for it sooner. Thank you for your input and you did answer some questions i had regarding the current market for the cars you pointed out in your second to last paragraph
