Thanks Bret. Looks like the Tika like the RWS rifle match I sent you. Love to see you shoot with a tuner from a front rest.
Thanks Richard for the ammo, I’ll shot the RSW in my Kimber and an unlimited ARA target. We’ll see how I do. Thanks again
It's actually moisture in the barrel, you want that, that's why your first is the fastest.
Great shooting. That third group was awesome. I have some RWS R50 that I am wanting to test in my Christensen Ranger, but I am waiting on a new scope base. Hoping to see some good numbers with it.
Good luck with the RSW R50, that is some good ammo for sure. I hope your rifle likes it.
Nice shooting and groups especially 3.
Thanks. #3 was the best two groups I have ever hot:)
Very good ammo testing…!!!
At least with a chrony.👍🏼
It is so much importent, to get consistent speed!
And if the group size is still too large, use a barrel tuner to support the barrel harmonics…!
Thanks Michael, I can’t use a tuner for ARA Factory matches so I have been attempting to Tuen the barrel by adjusting the Acton Screws. Seem to be making a bit of an improvement.
Tikka is still the best out of the box period. . . Thanks for the video.
No body with maybe the exception of Eley makes any good CONSISTENT quality match ammo. Just my 2 cents. . .
we'll take your two since. I have shot mostly SK and Lapua in the Tikka but maybe I'll do more ELEY i the near future. Check out this video. I did a bunch of ammo testing in the Tikka.

Nice video, my Tikka doesn't like RWS ammo at all. It groups very well with lapua, sk, eley and cci. They are great guns 🔫
I agree Tikka’s are great guns. Should be the new 10/22, everyone should have one.
With regard your third group. You appear to have been shooting with a varying right to left wind by what I could see the of the flag in the distance. With a right twist barrel this will not only move the shot from right to left but will also shift the point of impact higher depending on a if the wind is full value or is switching to a right hand following wind. I think this is the more likely culprit of bullet shift rather than smoke in the barrel or your technique which looks to be very consistent. For me wind shift with a 22lr is the biggest variant in group sizes. Even a 2mph wind will shift impact an .1 of an inch at 50M. Thank you for your excellent content.
Thanks for you excellent comment and information.
Those gases are very odd. I've never had an issue like that.
It's steam is what I was told.
I am going to buy a camera lens duster blower off Amazon. Thing that looks kind of like a turkey baster. After every group blow it out a couple times.
I was thinking along though lines. I think we'll need some our of extension tubing or strew to be able to reach the barrel with the air. Let me know if you find something. I was going to take a can of air today to the range but the strew was missing. Did not need it anyway. Hot and windy little or no gas build up.
@@AimSmallMissSmall_TV maybe that is why 22s seem to shoot better on warmer days? No moisture and warmer to burn off gasses. Just a thought
Velocity ES on this ammo is pretty high
That is what I was thinking.
What chronograph are you using?
I really like it. I was going to purchase one of the Orange +$700 chronographs, I am glad I did not for how I use it.

This guy is NOT a credible source for how these Tikka rifles shoot...he can’t even keep em straight when talking about standard deviation.
I think I shoot better then I speak apparently.
