Nice video. I was watching your trigger control by looking at the end of the rifle barrel as you fired. Excellent! Using the grain of the material on your shooter's rest as the background to judge barrel movement, I could not see even the slightest movement on most of your shots. Good shooting and an informative video. I'll be trying the RWS line of ammo. Thanks for posting. Brum
Surprised there's other languages for something that seems internal production. With US being as big as continent i would expect a lot of brands to have only English. That's pretty cool.
I have those results too, with my NS522 and RWS ammo. When I switch to higher velocity ammo, at this distance, they hit tend to hit the target more closely to the point of aim. I have my rifle zeroed with the high speed ammo and IF of course, my aim is true . I'm guessing this is why your point of impact shows this too, am I correct in assuming that?
+314299 Shooting Channel i would reccomend sending the author an email to buy it the first ones printed had bad binding. He is responsible for the website rrdvegas.com and I think he now works for anschutz.
Interestingly some of the pistol shooters down here shoot this stuff in their 50m Pistols with good results - somewhat embarrassing that it has RIFLE on it, however. Have you stumbled upon a box of R50, yet? Apparently that stuff is up there with Lapua Midas, and Eley Tenex. Seems you have a very capable rifle there - worthy of a set of aperture sights and a target stock? Just finished a 12 hour night shift, tired as balls.
I have a box of the RWS Target Pistol to try and I might just see how it shoots in the rifle as well as the pistol. I've not seen any R50 for sale around here, but the selection of target type ammo where I live is pretty limited. As for the NS522 it seems to be capable, I think what it needs is a better scope.
The manufacturer rates it at 1083 fps at the muzzle. I did not Crono it myself when I did the video as I discovered I had a dead battery in the Cronograph and had no spare.
Originally I was under the impression that the NS522 was an Anschutz 54 copy. I dont have a Anschutz 54 to compare it to but I have been told that that the NS522 action is thicker, over an inch shorter than the Anschutz & the profile is quite different. Bolts are quite different as well.
Ogur1981 That works out to about $5.50 to $6.25 Canadian a box. Rimfire ammo prices have gone up a lot over here in the past three years, I think this ammo was expensive simply because they actually had some to sell, the other brands were all sold out.
You're right, the anshutz 64 mpr gun me best suits eley tenex. The results are excellent both at 50 and 100 meters. For eley tenex games, eley sports is more affordable for training! Greetings!

Thanks for the positive feedback.
I always enjoy testing out new ammo, thanks for the review ! :-)
I generally buy at least a box or two of every type of .22 ammo that I come across, I guess I'm always on the quest for the holy grail of accuracy!
My CZ 455 Varmint likes the SK ammo and does really well with it. Haven't had the chance to pick any RWS and try it.
We shoot a lot of the RWS and SK rounds here in Germany. They perform pretty good out of most weapons. Thx for the Video my friend.
I have used a fair amount of the SK ammo, the SK "Magazine" loading is an excellent round for the price.
That's right. The SK ammo is a good bang for the buck. Have a nice weekend brother.
Have use this ammo at 100 yards so stupid accurate. I'm using a Savage Trr--Sr 22
I have used rws in my savage brj it is excellent stuff
We use that at our local gun range here in Germany. Pretty good round
Yeah, nice stuff.

***** In French, but German? Don't get me wrong that makes it even cooler if so, but still odd. Mah, it's not that big of deal.
aserta There is English, German, French and Spanish on the boxes. That ought to keep a substantial portion of the western world happy/informed.

Great video! Thanks its very helpful!
Thanks for watching and commenting.

+Aichmo Interesting, I had not heard of that book before.
+314299 Shooting Channel its a good read
+Aichmo Probably be the sort of thing I would enjoy.

Their pistol rounds are great too
The local gun shop has some of their pistol ammo in stock, hopefully I can get around to trying them sometime.
I’ve only ever seen the r-50 RWS
That's a higher grade, more expensive load, I've not used it.
Good.
Thank you.
You are welcome.
whats the velocity?

Well dons - and your English was fine!
Does that Norinco copy the Anschutz 54 action?

That's expensive. Over here I pay about 80-90 euro per 1000.

i use the standard plus
It's good stuff.
9.49$ for 50 just?
Yes, plus sales tax. Expensive stuff.
In my opinion, "eley sport" is better!
That's why it is important to test a variety of ammo in any particular rifle to see what one it performs the best with.

Eley Club is better for me, using Marlin 22 bolt gun
