@@mortaldao8044 No country on Earth has two thirds of tax revenue going to "welfare", let alone all entitlements programs combined. In the US, welfare, as in food stamps, is less than 1%. If you combine all 13 separate entitlement/assistance programs, which include housing assistance, food stamps, college financial aid grants (eg pell grants), TANF (cash assistance), childcare, job training, heating/utility assistance, phone subsidies etc. etc., all of them together total about 8%. If you include medicaid (which is primarily going to seniors), it jumps up to about 18%. Theres no world where it comes close to two thirds.
