Obesity being glorified is basically a big pharma ad. Had a lot of health problems when i was obese, and all it takes is to cut out soda and do not eat a lot to get things under control. Unless you have a condition, it's not hard for the average person to lose weight, but that would mean the usual big players responsible for obesity would stop profiting as much, so we can't have that. Its fun knowing why they say it.
The concept of beauty is something society creates, so they are right that "Beauty" is not something written in stone.
BUT they do not really understand HOW and WHY you can change beauty, you do not change it on a whim like they try, its one of those things that "Happen" if society needs it in its core.
For example in medieval times where dying of hunger was more common, men who where overweight where preffered over skinny men because it was a symbol of wealth and having a lot of food, thus choosing them would mean never dying of hunger and the ability to feed a lot of children, making that extra weight on men "Attractive" for women.
But it wasnt a Whim like what these people are trying to pull off, it is something that happens naturally out of necessity, not forced through activism.

A lot of it has to do with how genders view themselves in the world. Women are subject oriented, men are object oriented.
Women care more about who is in the game (self insert), men care more about what the game is about. Broad strokes, but this is a major reason I think why the feminist influence on games is not about making games that girls like (because girls don't play the same kinds of games, or as many), but turning games geared towards men into something else.
I also think part of it has to do with the industry in general, and only the big male dominated games had real leadership opportunities at larger companies - so EA for example needs to "diversify" their managers, so the women come in and start screwing with games made for men.
