Man some of my friends from online gaming from places like Korea and Nigeria wouldn't be alive if they were caught doing something like this, their parent's would actually banish them to the shadow realm.
I thankfully can speak from both sides of the argument. Growing up my father rarely did this but it was warranted when he did. The other half (along with her husband) would (YT unsafe words) to everyone else, for the slightest thing wrong.
