  • Finally, after months of anticipation, the 928 starts. In this video, we tackle the wiring, intake manifold, a no-start situation, starter, exhaust, and radiator. The car still appears to idle poorly and may have a misfire. We will address these drivability concerns in the next video.

Super cool series, never knew there was a fuel cooler on any car let alone a 928

Can you do a video on AC/alternator/power steering belt replacement?

All these cars should have a compression check…..or heck….any car before you buy it!!

See how your drivers side frame rail is all banged up? Mines the same way…same place. Wonder how these previous owners ducked them up

I wondered the same thing. It bewilders me that someone would choose such an inboard location when there are very solid lifting points along the rocker.

Loving this video series, and I don't even own a 928!
Do you know why the exhaust ended up being too short?

Thank you! These are late model headers from the 32v engine and are slightly shorter on the passenger side. I have yet to work on a 32v car but I would assume the rest of the exhaust is different on the later model cars.
