Murder In The Midlands: The Case Of Kiran Daudia
Vložit
- čas přidán 13. 01. 2023
- On January 16th 2017, Kiran Daudia left for work early, returning home at 2pm. When her son arrived back later that day, he was surprised to see his mum not there…
By 9am the next day, a discovery was made in an alleyway, one that would unfortunately give everyone the answers they were looking for, and it was far more shocking than anyone expected.

Hi everyone,
For this episode, we were able to film on location for the first time and use our own b-roll for this specific case. We feel this adds a new dimension to our videos and we’re keen to do more of this throughout 2023. We’re ready to challenge ourselves more this year and we wanted to say a quick thanks to all of you for being on this journey with us!
Sweet, and thank you for sharing! 💚💚
Best CZcams channel by far
You guys do a great job. You are one of my favourites as you are always respectful, considerate, and compassionate. Love watching your channel grow, and hope it continues.
I have been subbed and watching you for...quite a while now. You make consistently excellent videos. Thank you!
Do more midland crime for this notts lad
"Every morning I still go on my phone and I text Mum 'good morning.'"
That is absolutely heartbreaking. May your beautiful soul RIP, Kiran.
Nothing is guaranteed tbh, unfortunately sometimes the children of abusive parents continue the cycle, let’s hope not 🤞

Her sons comment about not being able to remember their last conversation is absolutely heartbreaking. I hold the final words of lost loved ones so close to my heart. That must be so painful. I'm so sorry this happened. Your mother would be so proud of you both.
Eloquently stated.
A minimum of 18 years is not enough. She was a vivacious woman in her mid 40's looking to live again, she easily could have lived for another 40-50 years. He should've had a minimum of at least 25-30 years. So brave of the boys to face him during the trial, their mum would be proud.
Death penalty is the only deserving punishment for senseless murder
@@squidguard4743 England and Australia don't have a death penalty. But it should be a standard 25 years. 18 is not enough.
@@shanmareewalker7836 25 years isn’t enough either. Life imprisonment is the second just punishment for murder after death penalty
Of course it's a pathetic sentence! It's Europe. They're despicable when it comes to the punishments they give out!
@@JesusAlfonsoRafael Please take your misogyny elsewhere, this is a channel made and produced by two women with compassion and kindness and there's no room for sexism. Bravery does not have a gender.
Seeing her two sons at the end is heartbreaking. They lost both parents in different ways. May they find the strength to go on.
Wow that judge really said it. I love when they talk to the monsters likenthat. Even though the killers probably don't let their words sink in, it's important they hear that kind of thing from a sitting judge.
It's such a sad story. I'm truly sorry to the sons and family for their loss.
She was a beautiful lady.
Absolutely heartbreaking that he texts his mum good morning every day 😥
Wouldn't it have been his bday the day he had to identify her or did I misunderstand?
Kiran was obviously a great mother as you can see from how her sons had been raised and how she alone protected them to become men who understand good and bad despite the horrible nature of their father. And how the sons were involved in protecting their mother when the father hit her. I mean usually, sons take after their fathers. My heart goes to the family. Rest in peace, Kiran.
That judge knew exactly what he was doing when he told the husband that Kiran was much more intelligent than he. Good for him.
Yes give him the opportunity for parole in16 years for murder. I don’t care what he said. That’s not justice. Do better.
tell the judge, not me. i don't care
Those poor boys. Absolutely horrible. I'm so sorry for her family. I couldn't imagine
It's difficult to see the amount of emotional pain people can inflict on others and only be sentenced to as little as 18 years.
That's European sentencing for ya

To live your whole life in fear of a man who you did not even choose is just so terribly sad.
Sorry just thought I’d correct you here. An arranged marriage does not mean you don’t have a choice. It means the parents are actively involved in finding a good match for their children. Hence an arranged marriage. Children can say no. It’s not the same as a forced marriage. That is oppression and cruel.
@@Sufficient4UsIsAllah more often than not they don't have a choice.. welcome to Indian weddinga

I appreciate that the comments sections to Truly Criminal videos are usually full of people discussing the case and making interesting points, as opposed to a lot of other TC communities where you’re mostly just scrolling through people gushing about the show or the host. That’s how you know the content is being presented just perfectly imo.
That said, Truly Criminal rocks! *gush gush*
💯
😁 I thought I was just too much of a grinch and need to chill out, because this is such a pet peeve of mine. So glad there is more of us! The worst offenders are commentators on "American Justice" on A&E. Even the most brutal crime presented will only get comments about how orgasmic Bill Kurtis' voice made them feel during the episode. It's so annoying.
Now all that being said, this was such a sad story and a horrible loss of a beautiful, hardworking mom. It makes me so mad that the sentences for such brutal crimes are so light.
Is it Australia 🇦🇺 🤔 👀
Me too ! I hate when 90% of the commenters are just complementing the host lol
Here, there’s more critically thinking lol 😆
When someone dies of natural causes, you grieve their loss greatly. I can’t begin to imagine how horrible it is to lose someone like this and so suddenly. My heart goes out to her sons. 😔
I can attest to your comment, losing my son in 2016. Appreciate your thoughts.
@dreamerssleepawalker and @Paula Ellis... Paula, our deepest condolences, and love. my best friend was murdered, in Dec, 1996, and all I think about is her Mom, Dad Sister and all her family and loved ones. Not a day goes by of how much I miss her.

@@paulaellis6242 oh my sweet lady! Losing a child is the hardest thing in the world. You are amazing and strong. Sending you lots of love.
I know. May God protect and look after her son and give them a long healthy and happy life.
I know what its like to have one of your best friends here one day, gone the next at a too young age of 17. It wasn't a murder in the usual sense, but it was manslaughter by vehicle, as the person driving the car she was in thought it would be fun to race another car even with my friend screaming at him from the back seat to slow down bc she wasn't into that.
It has been about 30 yrs now, it never ever leaves you. Even after therapy. You just learn way too early someone can walk out that door and there is absolutely ZERO guarantee they will ever walk back in and it sucks. It can really affect relationships if you let it. Especially with children. I'm sure it's affected my son, unintentionally, by always telling him to be aware of his surroundings and the people around him (that's mostly from watching true crime and knowing the awful things done to children),.... But I can honestly say I already fear him getting his drivers license or his friends.... My friends parents did not allow her in cars of others, especially boys, until she was 16. She died at 17, a boy was driving. You just never know. And you can't always protect your children, no matter how hard you try. You can only make them aware and pray that other parents do the same. Although we know they don't.
Great Channel. Been here from the start. I'm glad you present your stories with thought and respect. It's become common place for a channel to regurgitate someone else's work and even using the clips of the exact same show throughout. Thanks for not doing that. Those poor boys. Robbed of their loving mother by an evil, selfish man. I hope they find strength in each other and the rest of their family.
This is such a sad case. If only she had not let him stay in the house with them after they split up. Or if she could have just left the house with the boys, gotten away from this abusive man. Hindsight is 20/20, and I am so sad for her and for her boys. I was in a similar situation as she was, living under the same roof with the man I had broken up with. It just didn't feel right to me, and his behavior became somewhat menacing. I decided to just leave, forget the money he owed me and just get out with my life intact. Had I stayed I might have ended up like this poor woman.
You are so right. Glad you were able to get away with your life.
@Euonymus5 yes, then these women won't die of domestic abuse. You are right. Monsters like these should live alone.

@WILDCAT. I knew someone would be more bothered about the animal comment than the sentiment towards that evil man.
@@paulmeaden5731 Well that's your opinion, you must be be able to read people's mind to know what they think, you bet I am bothered by your stupid comment ,because people like you demean animals by saying such things, and you said it on purpose to get a reaction from others ,well you got one,so get over it,It is sad he killed his wife, plenty of men do,but that's Exactly what I mean,he is an evil human, not animal, why not recognize that fact. And don't try to come here acting as if you are the only one capable of empathy towards others.

I think the moment you said ‘ex husband’ we all knew who did it.
I know the feeling. I got lucky to be alive. Mine was jerk, over powering, jalous of my family, mentally unstable with inferiority complex as he came from family who lived on street. The only thing he has was he was smart intelligent. All other category he was zero. I paid for his ticket, I got him green card. Once I married, that jerk was beating me every day telling I am no good. He was abusive to our children too. After I left him, I made my life. I am working for same company for 25 years and have very respected job. He was telling our society that I am not stable and cannot hold my job more than 3 months. I left him and moved out with my clothes and my car. I am in California. This is my second home. I made my life and secured my old age. This is the best thing I did by leaving him. Not to worry about beaten up and verbal abuse. I pray and thank God Krishna everyday for taking care of me and protect me. My heart goes to Kiran's family. At least she is not suffering any more. She is with God.
So proud of you
Wish you nothing but the best ❤️

I’m sorry but I can’t understand the so called British “justice” system. 18 years minimum sentence for murder? Why should there even be the possibility of him ever getting out? He is a ruthless murderer! He should do life without parole at the very minimum. Personally I think he should get the death penalty. He took an innocent life. He should not be allowed to live; certainly not allowed out to kill again. If they think he can be rehabilitated, let him be but keep him in jail. Society needs to be protected from monsters like this.
I cant imagine how difficult it would be to lose your mother in this way.

The judge may not have "held back" with his sentencing COMMENTS, but he sure held back when it came to how long the murderer would serve for his awful crime. What is wrong with judges now days ? They give slaps on the hand sentences to MONSTERS ! Life should mean, THEIR WHOLE LIFE.

This is gut wrenching. RIP beautiful lady 🌹
It's always a bad choice to break up but stay living together. Imo. It seems to breed jealousy and leaves the opportunity for bad things to happen. Thanks Truly Criminal ☆

It's so... Blunt, you know? Abusive husband refuses divorce forcibly. Kills wife, immediately gets caught, flounders like a child and tries to escape his guilt. Fails miserably and gets thrown in a cage.
Then the family has to be sentenced to a longer punishment than him; living without the victim. Knowing this could've been prevented, and they attempted to prevent it, but you can't stop a man with no balls and no value on a rampage.
Just so tiring, hearing about these horrible situations, hope the family move on as well as they can, and that the far less intelligent husband is treated badly in prison.
18 years?a pure insult.......RIP

This is the story of women across the world & it’s disgusting . These losers . They use & abuse their wives for years & when they try to leave the loss of control is too much for them to handle . The MOST dangerous time for women is when they try to leave a relationship. There needs to be careful planning, strategic movements , & getting out requires an actual village. I’m proud of these kids who defended their mother. I can’t even believe he used “being bullied” by his family as a defense , I don’t know what’s kind of lawyer would allow that but 18 years is crazy and I’m glad America still has the death penalty and life means LIFE a lot of the times . These other countries are too soft .
I also like that America has the death penalty. But sadly it’s not without its flaws. People have been wrongly convicted and given the death sentence. Also forced confessions have put people on death row. Many of these are persons under the age of 21.
