Simple actions puzzle simple minds. And evil minds, too. What a monster he is.
@@erb1998 my guess is that since his wife was a devout catholic; and catholics donât believe in divorce. He probably thought that she wouldnât allow him to divorce her. That & he probably didnât want to pay child support to a disabled child in his eyes he saw as a burden & a money pit

The thought of hearing little Gracieâs screams while being killed by her own father breaks my heart đđ

đ Grown men, strangers, wouldn't leave that baby's poor body in a landfill until it was time for her to leave. A beautiful act of love and respect she couldn't get from her own father. Gut wrenching đ
I find it so devastatingly tragic that there was a period of time between Annaâs murder and Gracie. It is so cold, for him to murder her is one thing, but to do that and to never once change your mind about killing his tiny little daughter⊠reminds me of Chris Watts.
Unless they were killed at the same time, either way itâs disgusting
A speargun?! The pain his wife and daughter must have been in OMG. Unimaginable- absolutely brutal. Not too long ago a story came out about a man who killed his kids with a speargun and claimed it was an accident. These men are monsters

To add to that horror is the fact that he told Gracie that her mother had run away with another man. So the poor little girl had to contend with that and then she was brutally murdered. She died believing her mother had left her đą.

One never ever truly knows someone, we're not in their head; especially in 2022 society....trust is difficult, back in the seventies my Mom would tell me constantly "You can never really trust someone"....that was way back then so imagine trusting today. I am never ceased to be amazed
Equally horrible and senseless. đ
Iâll never understand why chris watts case is seen as the worst, yeah itâs horrible but compared to most crimes of that nature itâs pretty tame.
@Sharpshooter
Probably due to the huge amount of videos of Shanann and the girls, the viewers feel like they knew her, in a way.
Also, Chris Watts was a polite, quiet man with no violent history whatsoever.
The cops didn't find anyone who knew him who had anything bad to say about him.
Myriad videos showed him apparently being a wonderful father and husband, never raising his voice nor appearing to be upset.
Perhaps that's why the Watts case struck the public so.
I lived in Chelsea at the time of this murder with my 12 month baby boy and I remember everyone talking about how there were no tears in this man's eyes when giving media interviews. Almost immediately everyone knew he was guilty.
I hadn't heard previously that Sharpe had been accused of molesting before. The scenario of the mum finding that perv molesting his daughter and then him killing her makes a lot of sense.
Exactly. He can conveniently never confess to that aspect as well and because of decomposition the baby wouldnt show signs of abuse. It's horrific.
Also makes you think why he kept her loving longer đąđąđą what was he doing to the poor baby đąđą
That could be why she ( the little girl) wasnât sleeping well at night. Thatâs a side effect of children who have been @bused by a father, a brother etc at night timeâŠor it just could be because she never developed a good sleeping pattern from having to wear an uncomfortable brace at night when she was younger. Who knowsâŠit could just be a nasty rumor that we will never know the truth to, unless he confesses to it.
I remember watching the reports of the search day after day and thinking there is no way they are going to find them. I am still in awe to this day of the dedication of the officers who found them amongst all that rubbish. The dignity with which they treated Gracie's body compared to the way her father killed her still chokes me up.
I havent even made it to the end of the video yet, I heard about the disgusting way he killed his daughter and had to come to the comments to reassure my faith in humanity. I hope either he has been killed in prison or gets tortured physically and mentally every day. I wouldn't usually wish this upon anyone but the things he did. If anyone deserves it, it's him đ€

I will never understand how anyone can kill a child. We had a case here in the states, Chris Watts, killed his pregnant wife and two little girls. During his confession, he said one of his daughters watched him strangle her sister, then turned to him and asked if he was going to do that to her too. The bastard just didn't want the responsibility of being a father and husband. Cripes, just walk away. He then tried to say the wife killed the kids, and he killed her for doing that, then changed to admit the killings. I still do not understand it, and I suppose I never will. Both these men need to be in jail until they are in the ground.
It was sickening. Chris watts should be shoved in the same place he shoved his girls in. Let him rot there.
No,they need lethal injection. Good riddance đ
They should both be in the ground already.
Very similar cases⊠hurts my heartâŠ
Thatâs heartbreaking. Man! Poor little girl.
Living in Australia, I remember this case so well and still, when I see this I cry thinking of the heinous manner in which Anna, beautiful Gracie and Francis were murdered. To the extent that a 20 month old baby didnât die after being shot in the head with a fishing spear, by this bloody grub. I keep thinking of the confusion of this beautiful little girl, in her little mind wondering what the horrendous pain was she was feeling and not understanding why her bloody father stood by, only to shoot her again, and again and again. Makes me weep. Makes me so angry ! Mummy, Anna, shot the same way and she too lingered because she did not die after the first shot. Not to forget baby Francis ~~ how could he ? Bloody unbelievable ! Absolutely horrendous !
Bloody grub of a thing he is. Then I think about the Australian legal system âŠâŠ.. what legal system ???? This grub was sentenced to LIFE in Prison (yes, if it only meant LIFE), with a non parol period of 33 years. Well, itâs 2022 and it already been 18 years and we are all as disgusted and horrified by this crime as we were when it happened. He only needs to serve another 15 years and have some human rights do-gooder come along and he COULD be walking the streets again ! How many times must we see these bastards released from prison, only to reoffend and commit a worse (as if thatâs possible in this case, I think not) crime ! Remember poor Daniel Morcombe and Jill Meagher, to name only two cases !
Dear Anna, beautiful Gracie and baby Francis, rest easy now in the arms of our Lord. You are safe, this world was too good for all of you. My sincere condolences to Anna Kempâs family in New Zealand, I am so very sorry. You will see your beautiful family again. Alison. đđđŠđșxoxox
Agree, as a distant cousin of mine was raped & killed by convicted rapist out on parole (in the 1970s I think). Her Asian & Scottish parentage meant that while she had Asian facial-features, she was fair-skinned, freckled & a redhead!
As an Aussie living interstate in Sydney, I clearly remember this awful case.
Because Anna was only a few years younger than myself, and what everyone said the sort of woman Anna was like, I wish I'd met her before she'd hooked up with this immature selfish narcissist!
Never would I harm any person or child, let alone one of my own family!
Yep, Australian too. The same things were going around my head about Gracie. Horrific and beyond thought.

The cable technician saw an older man at the house, but nothing more was said about that. Was that the husband's father, come to help his son clean up his mess? It was said that he was very dependent on his parents...
I'd assume it was him.
Big man. Hard to miss
Does that mean his father was there cleaning up the gore before the police were notified?
@@2anthro That's sure what it sounds like to me! Odd that this was mentioned at the beginning, but not followed up on or explained...
Thatâs the way investigations are sometimes. Either he was mistaken & there was nobody else in the house, or⊠I agree with the assumption that it was his father.
He was clearly jealous of the attention Anna gave Gracie. Itâs unfortunately not uncommon: a man expects his wife to devote all of her attention to him, to look after him like a mother (but not nag and still be sexually available of course!) but then, when they have a child, and the wife becomes an actual mother to a child who depends on her completely, her attention is diverted away from him (rightly so). He couldnât stand not being the most important person in Annaâs life, and their unborn son was poised to take even more of her attention away from him. He was jealous of his own children (pathetic!) and angry that his wife no longer put him first. And in this case, it led to murder.
You are wording it like all men want this, or even most men,, which is wrong, also that's not what he wanted, he was stressed out by one baby keeping him up, he didn't want another. He is selfish pathetic human but you can't put what sounds like your own experience of men as the reason when it obviously isn't the case. He ended her life because he was stupid and he didn't want the other child (it takes two to make a baby, so he ais a moron), that's why he waited to kill his own daughter (needing to get drunk to do so, probably cause he wouldn't have been able to keep the child and claim the his wife ran off or the fact he probably realised he couldn't take care of her on his own). if it was how you put it, it woud've been other way around. Did you even watch the video?
This is a perfect explanation. Pathetic. I do hope Gracie's screams haunt him in his every day activities and his sleep. I also appreciate you not saying he was evil or a monster, that dehumanises him and makes it feel like he isn't properly guilty. I'm awful with words but you get what I mean.

Either way, both are beyond horrible.

What a sad story. This happened in Australia where I live. Its not the first time the claimed victim turned out to be the one responsible. this person was crying the "crocodile tears" when talking to the cameras. It was so obvious he was lying.
I remember this and seeing him on TV. Struck me as very fake from day one. it's the case that made me realise just what lengths some men can go to to pretend they are innocent. But also how little some men understand about motherlove. I also believe those who came forward to accuse him of molestation and it is very possible that his daughter was a target also and his wife found out. PS... Poor little Gracie, she looked like a little dolly. I just can't comprehend how anyone could harm her, let alone what was described. If there are demons, they can't be more evil than people who can harm children.
Rest in peace, Anna, Gracie and Francis.
Yay! You're the only channel I actively wait for new uploads â€ïž Love you ladies
Wait itâs more than one woman?
These are the most evil murders I have read, seen or heard off. How can someone do this and face the scrutiny of the media ..Is beyond me. I know people can grief in different ways, however not shedding a single tear is a sign to be noted.
Kudos to those who worked to find the bodies. God bless them
What a monster! Family anihilators are the worst kind of killers, worse than serial killers in my opinion. I will never understand why these people that grow unhappy with their spouses and kids don't just go away, start a new life. Why do they feel the need to destroy others life just because they're unhappy?
Umm...because child support!!!
So don't have kids. â@@emusaurus
That is one of the most terrible prolonged ways to off your loved ones... It's not a quick passing. It's painful, long and drawn out with repeated spaced out additional harpoons needed. All that time u realized a loved one is doing this to youđ
Hearing the baby died that way is so sick. That he killed them at all is so terrible but killing someone with a spear gun is beyond human. Why not just divorce! Run away to another country. Poor baby.
In reality and in fiction we are presented with scenarios that involve a parent taking the life of their child to spare them an even worse fate. Usually, the parent will use a regular gun to ensure a swift passing. I canât imagine a film where a loving parent would âspareâ their child a horrible death by spearing them in the head multiple times. Leaving your child to a death chomp from the monsters in the mist would be far more merciful.
I can't imagine anything worse. đ
@@britth5333 So senseless. Gracie had no idea what was happening. đ
These officers should be so so respected and appreciated. It's ppl and officers like this that, at least help to outweigh and makeup for all of the, too many savage and last officers and departments who fall below their expectations.
I was born with hip displaysia. I had to go into traction and have what they called a âfrog plasterâ which makes your legs look anatomical to a frogs. It never disrupted my well being, as far as my parents have told me. I donât have any problems now. Iâm a little more flexible than some, but itâs not a major health problem.
15:11 me too,I had to wear a special cast like thing at a very young. Now at 41 I have degrenitve hip dysplasia đą it's painful , I need to ultimately get a hip replacement.
I remember watching him being interviewed by the media and yelling at the TV 'he did it!' At the time I was living quite close by but I didn't know the family. I can't stand it when family support their relative who's committed such a shocking crime, like he's innocent and the bodies the police found at the rubbish tip weren't his wife's and daughter. Or worse; they blame the victims. My other pet hate is parole boards and appeals; which are so unfair to the victims' love ones.
This guy is an absolute MONSTER đĄ
i love your channel so much! great work every time â„ïž
Your new format is very compelling.
I've come across a lot of murderers who killed their own family, but this one, this one disgusts me to the core. If there is truly a place called hell, I truly hope this monster rot there.
4 times ffs!!
I distinctly remember seeing these appeals by John Sharpe on television especially his first one. I was at a friendâs house and we looked at each other and agreed that he had done something to them. He just didnât come across as believable. I think that a lot of people felt the same way. It was just surreal each time he appeared on television, it was bizarre to watch it unfold. Just so incredibly sad.
You could look into the story of Rosie Batty. Itâs a crime that I will never forget, ever. Rosie sharing her story with the entire country was extremely powerful and caused a much needed shift in the way Australians viewed and talked about domestic violence.
P.s I apologise if you have already covered this case, I just realised that I might have missed it amongst your numerous videos. Thanks for sharing this video, much appreciated. Take care of yourselves đđż
I never believed him when I saw him "crying" but no tears. Absolute monster. I've always felt sorry for his parents who stood by him in those TV appeals.
@@lyndamck3446 it must have hurt to realize what a monster they had raised
Apparently when someone comes on TV like John did and keep doing interviews and appeals they're usually guilty of the crime, I read somewhere that the statistics are higher that they're the culprit.
The nature of these horrific murders is one of the worst I've ever seen.
Iâm watching this whilst my 2yr old is running around smiling and laughing. Iâm literally crying my eyes out wondering how could anybody be so cruel and heartless to brutally murder anybody let alone a child.
You did an excellent job, on this one.
Magnificently narrated, always with such respect and dignity.
A huge fan from South Africa đżđŠ
You are the best in covering these cases in major details. I real appreciate your work!
I can't imagine walking up to a child nor my own and pulling the weapon used to further the pain and agony. Only an evil & demonic monster could do that.
That Judge was extremely smart and intuitive. More than that psychiatrist. So clueless.
One of the most horrific cases I have ever heard of. So utterly sad!!! R.I.P. Anna, Gracie and little brother.đą
Love it when you post! Keep up the good work â€ïž
What a monster! It's one thing to murder your pregnant wife with a speargun, its a whole new level of horrendous when you use the same speargun to murder your daughter by shooting her in the head 4 times and to put her in the trash is appalling. Life in prison is unfair and unjust. He should not be allowed to live, just like the sentence he set upon his wife, unborn child and daughter. Love your channel! Excellent content and upload schedule. Keep up the amazing work! I hope your channel gains the subscribes you so very much deserve!
A person is a person đ€ŠđŸââïž
Whatâs the saying? âAn eye for an eye leaves everyone blindâ...
No, killing your pregnant wife is equally as bad, dear.
@@amberrodriguez851 itâs so bizarre to me that people devalue Annaâs life because Gracieâs murder is somehow worse.
They were both killed the same way while sleeping and defenseless. Anna was still alive after the first spear. How anyone thinks thatâs less horrific is beyond me.

Gosh. My heart breaks for these 3 innocent souls. Gracie must have felt every pain when that spear penetrated her skull. He could have just spared Gracie and gave her over to the grandparents. But he had to be that heartless monster.
Some stories is just sad. I enjoy watching Truly Criminal.
