A seasonal event in Wadi Rum at the camel race track. Because of laws prohibiting the use of children as camel jockeys, each camel is outfitted with a small remote-controlled whipping machine. The Bedouin owners follow the camel around the track in their pick-up trucks, yelling and using the remote control to encourage their camel to run faster.

I've always thought of camels as those dorky little animals that walk slowly and look half asleep, and then I saw this movie, and they had camels running in it, and I was shocked because I guess I never really thought about it before! But I still think it's the funniest thing ever because they look ridiculous XD

Pulled from quora "Camels are faster in long runs, can carry more cargo, and are more able to handle terrible conditions. ... In moderate climates, horses thrive better than camels. In most of Europe horses are simply easier to keep around. In hot climates, Dromedary camels with one hump thrive better than horses."
