- Hey there! Welcome back to the channel, so I've recently picked up a new iPhone 13 mini since my iPhone 7 began to go on the fritz. I've never been one to constantly upgrade to a newer phone each year so it's a big deal for me. Needless to say having the latest iPhone camera setup as a hobbyist photographer really intrigued me so i wanted to see what the 13 mini can do.

I got my iPhone 13 mini and I don’t want to buy bigger iPhones again! At first it looks small, but it is actually bigger than it looks because of its full screen aspect and super comfortable handle. Finally, I love the battery life, which lasts 10 hours of continuous use!

Much appreciated! Thank you for watching! And of course, so with the 13 mini I went out with about maybe 50% battery charged, was shooting for about an hour, and was still at about 40% , will def be more notable about battery life next time 👍🏼

While I found a lot of the images to be more urban landscape/cityscape, as opposed to traditional street photography, the images at 7:07 and 8:25 were excellent representations of street photography! I enjoyed the video.

cool stuff...do you think the video footage from the go pro and the mini blends well if both are used for filming content and which has better quality?
I think it totally blends well if you use around the same frame rate for shooting, 24 or 30fps, as far as better quality I gotta say the iphone mini has the win, especially in low light. I can only speak for the GoPro hero 7 though since the newer GoPro models I’m sure are better, overall I’ve been really impressed with the quality of the iphone mini camera, been filming a-lot of B-Roll clips on it 👍🏼

Thanks for watching! Yea definitely even iPhone 7 had a good camera but if and when you do choose to upgrade, you'll notice subtle differences in picture quality especially in low light and the wide camera is really fun to play around with as well 📷

Fun video man. I just picked up my iPhone 13 Mini Starlight with 512GB. I had to get it since it's the last one they are making for the forseeable future.
For sure, and also 512 GB wow nice! I was impressed that the Mini was starting at 128 GB which was a huge jump from me having the iPhone 7 with only 32GB, Hopefully apple continues with keeping the high storage count with their models coming ahead. Thanks for watching!

El Monte, nice! Yea I've had the 13 mini for about a month a half now and honestly its just comfortable, sleek and powerful. Haven't had any problems as far as battery life as well, just a nice minimalistic phone. People def don't need the super big pro models with the camera on the mini being just as good, and for sure will plan out that night shoot video 👍 thanks for the sub!
Which zoom is sharper? The mini or the normal 13?😅

Are you still using the mini for photography ? I have a large Samsung phone for most uses, a pocket computer with a large screen, but the mini looks like a good choice for travel photography, street scenes and people. It is clear that iPhone to iPad image/video transfer for editing on the iPad is very straightforward.
Yes! I'm still on the 13 mini, photo quality is still great especially for travel and landscape, video is good but nothing exceptional, and if you are editing on iPad it is true that file transfer between apple products is very easy with airdrop.

How much battery did the street pics take bro?
I wanna say like 10 percent after about an hour and 1/2 of walking around taking pics, so far i've had no complaints on battery life with this phone, full charge lasts me a whole day even longer, for sure social media apps like instagram make it drain faster but nothing nothing too drastic from what i notice so far 👍🏼

@@tonyortega3263 It's definitely a smaller iPhone than the 13 pro but you quickly get used to it, the mini is just a more compact minimal phone but def still as powerful, best of luck to you!
Tbh the battery isnt as bad as people make it seem dont get me wrong if your the type of person that needs to get each and every notification from every social media app and you need to post each and every single thing that goes on in your life than this phone is not for you and you will be disappointed. With that said if if your a moderate to the occasional heavy use user you should be fine and if you need some extra juice I recommend the OtterBox Wireless Power Bank for MagSafe, 3k fits the phone perfectly has more juice and is cheaper than the apple battery pack. I too had a 13 pro and its a great phone but at the end of the day my hands would just hurt from the weight and the fact its a 2 handed phone.
