Very glad to see that your oil concern had a simple fix! Looking forward to stopping by your booth at sun-n-fun. Wasn’t sure if we’d make it, but just got our tickets to come down!

@@TheFlyingSalesman We were howling at the moon in Indiana under the eclipse. Spring break for the kids and not enough time to do everything, otherwise we would be there already. 3:30 wake up tomorrow to catch a flight to TPA.

Another excellent video. Good information on the Blackstone oil analysis cause of metal, and POH reference on prevention. Two questions. 1 did you consider the modified exhaust that eliminates the rear crossover pipe as opposed to the stock turbo exhaust? 2. With the summer heat to you normally use the electric fuel pump on low when climbing above 5000ft to avoid any fuel flow issues?
Thanks again for taking us along!

I did go with the modified exhaust and I have never had the need for the boost pump in a climb, even to the low FLs. I keep the fuel flow at 140-150 lbs/hr.

Thanks, who was the manufacturer? I will be looking to replace the exhaust on my T206 at the next annual .

Free fix? That’s unheard of in aviation. Airplanes don’t like to sit.

Flying Cessna 172s I rarely used flaps on takeoff.

I never used flaps in a 172 either, in the 210, it helps get you off the ground a little quicker.
