    I make these for my business, but I use laminated card stock for the tops. Works better & won’t rip or tear. Never had any issues.

    Cute mason jars!! I’d use felt or leather instead of cardstock though. After time, or a quick jerk of a Kleenex, the paper will tear. Especially w/kids pulling them out. Tfs.

    Instead of cardstock you could use the clear plastic that comes with the tissue.

    I have a Cricut as well, how did you know what size to put in DS so it would cut the correct size for the lid? Thanks.

    • @TexasGal-sj9lv
      @TexasGal-sj9lv Před 2 lety

      All mason jars come with 2 types of lids. Use the inner lid to make a circle template. That’s the easiest way to measure the exact circle size you need.

    • @CrystalsCrafties
      @CrystalsCrafties  Před 5 lety +1

      Oh I'm sure that Cricut Maker can cut anything! I'm not sure I would go that rout though because the hard metal will rip the tissues. I "think" my circle was 2" but I'm not exactly sure.

      @CrystalsCrafties  Před 5 lety

      There are several ways to finish off the jars with cute writing or decorations. I use vinyl decals that I make with my Cricut machine. You can purchase them from my Etsy shop (www.etsy.com/shop.crystalscrafties ). You can purchase vinyl decals from any craft store. You can also buy paint markers and draw anything on you want on the jars.

    • @CrystalsCrafties
      @CrystalsCrafties  Před 5 lety

      Wide mouth jars don't work as well. You can use them but the tissues will need a stronger support holding them in place.

    • @Lyn4817
      @Lyn4817 Před 5 lety +3

      As someone else suggested, instead of cardstock, use leather or felt as a tissue dispenser barrier, it is more durable so you could use a wide mouth jar I think.

    Where did you find "light " card stock

    • @CrystalsCrafties
      @CrystalsCrafties  Před 5 lety

      You can buy light card stock at pretty much any craft store. They sell it in individual sheets. Sometime it's called decorative paper. It' should be with all the other card stock.

    • @CrystalsCrafties
      @CrystalsCrafties  Před 5 lety +1

      I don't suggest putting any sealer on it when you're done. The spray on sealer you put on the jars before the decal should be enough.

      I'm not exactly sure how you'd order on eBay but you could just search "Bless You Decal" or "Mason Jar Decals" and I'm sure you'll get a lot of results. I sell mine on Etsy. I don't have those exact ones for sale in my shop but I could make them for you. Here's a link to my shop.

    The tissues already come in a decorative package. There are better uses for glass jars.
