#19 There's a certain type of person that speeds up as you're overtaking them. You can be on cruise control bang on the limit, catch them up quite quickly then once you get to the overtake point they just go faster. One of the most irritating things on the road.
Then you say to yourself, no problem I'll get in behind them and get back to braking distance, and they slow down again.
Yep, it's those cowardly passive-aggressive types. They'll endanger someone's life over a triviality if they have plausible deniability. You can tell the small things torment them, but they don't have the balls to manifest their aggression in a more direct way, so they do things like endanger someone's life by speeding up to try and cause a collision in the other lane.
Yup, I get it all the time when driving my 65mph-limited work van on motorways. I believe it’s often referred to as being “hung out to dry”
#11 was so good, I watched it some 5 times before putting this up... 😂😂
It's not often you laugh at the clips on here as they're more of an audible gasp reaction type thing. Had a hearty chuckle and replayed that one, though. 😂
@graemepennell Hope there wasn't too much damage to the car...
@@two-countiesdashcam easy claim, the car was stationary. Cyclists fault - Too close to bike Infront and observation was crap.
@graemepennell Some right soft cnuts on here with their stupid comments.
First clip; the car was stopped too far away from the parked car but that's no excuse for clipping the wingmirror and driving off.
Well yeah there’s never an excuse for hitting a stationary car ever really… maybe they did stop though you can’t really tell from the video
In such situations where it's a tight squeeze for oncoming cars, never be closer to the right than the vehicle in front.
Clearly
Highway code recommends a car door width away...
True, but people will still try to excuse it. I've had similar tight squeezes and refused to proceed, even if a car is honking behind me. Honk all you want, but unless you get out the car and attack me there's nothing I'm going to do.
#10. Recognised the video. I was behind the Unmarked Police Car, when the blue car went the wrong side of the roundabout.
#16. Van driver may have been looking for SpecSavers car Park 😂
The tractor overtake, karma
That was hilarious 😂😂😂
#14 Finally a clip near where I grew up! Love how the red light runner then immediately tailgates the car they almost crash into, like "how dare you impede my red light jumping?"
Thought it was an ‘excellent!’ merge in turn 😂
I've noticed a real decline in the standard of driving and ability over the last few years.
It’s the lack of policing, it’s true everywhere to be honest.
Few years? That's a massive understatement.
it goes hand in hand with liberalism woke box ticking & imports
It’s not a decline in the standard of driving, it’s an increase in the amount of cameras recording all the bad driving, combined with a massive increase in the number of vehicles on the road.
@@bobtudbury8505 imagine trying to shoe horn the culture war into this 🤣
3:39 What we have here is something rarely seen on the roads, but when it happens you love to see it.
I think there are probably more unmarked police cars around than we assume.
Nice to see one right time, right place.
@@mattclarke6773 I've seen quite a few unmarked X5s around...
@@aitch8237 I have seen a few but they have been driven by idiots not by police.
50:50, shite driving by the car driver but my god the cop should have pulled the tractor driver as well for clearly not having any understanding of the size of their vehicle.
So many drivers who should have their licence permanently removed..they are a Danger to everyone on the road..and most of the time they are oblivious and thats worse

#18 heading towards Bradford. Says everything you need to know about the attempt to get away
Seen this too often on the ring road out of pudsey into Bradford’s it’s gets even worst going up Leeds road down to broadway i refuse to drive down there now
Number 16: Saffron Walden
#18 That's got ti be one of the calmest reactions to getting hit (I'm sure I had a little bang?) I've ever seen, some people can panic and steer harshly to avoid the vehicle about to hit them and then they go into central reservation for example.
#10, I was wondering if the police were actually after him for something else, and the illegal passing of the cammer in his tractor might have in his attempt to escape...
Pretty shitty “escape” attempt since they pulled over to let the police talk to them 😂
#4 looks like a medical episode. Car is heading in a straight line with no intent to avoid anything. Worth submitting to insurance i think.
Out of the 20 odd things I've reported to the police on my dash cam, my impression is that they will always act on phone-use driving, are hit and miss with red light jumpers, will do people who cut across motorway slip road double lines, also people who go the wrong way round traffic islands, but seem disinterested in dangerous overtakes unless they're on a no-overtake stretch of road. Just my thoughts.
Surely the police are busy investigating crime, never mind scrolling through hundreds of dash cam incidents every day. Ok if there is an accident or someone is injured. But not for minor infringements where they would need to identify who was at the wheel anyway before they could take action.
@@webrumrunner It's probably one PC allocated to each area. I get the same one almost every time. Obviously investigating crime is important. But if a red light jumper nearly took out your kid in the pram, I'm pretty sure you'd want the driver done.
@@webrumrunner
It’s not the responsibility of the police to know who was behind the wheel, it’s the responsibility of the registered keeper. The police send a Notice of Intended Prosecution to the registered keeper, and they must either accept it themselves or inform the police who was driving.

Funniest.

#10 @4.00 Lovely bit of karma.
Hahahaha second clip 'shitting Peugeot' lol

#12 what a banger I mean tune rave on baby
#9 3:12 I drive an articulated lorry and this is one of the things that really gets my blood boiling. If you overtake a lorry weighing more than 44 tons and pull in that close in front of it, the chances of you surviving if you have to brake all of sudden are NIL!
It wasn't even that close, lorry should have simply started slowing down... the van can be criticised for squeezing in, but there is NEVER a valid reason for lorry to overtake or by in any other lane but the lane one. And lorry drivers that do overtake should be banned from driving all together - nobody gives a ffff that you will have to drive at 53MPH instead of 54MPH for 30 seconds... that is not a reason to slowdown entire traffic doing 70-80MPH in other lane for several minutes, because you will get to your destination 3 seconds quicker.
@lp9280 said like a true car driver.🤦♀️..yeah lorrys shouldn't over take as there's no other traffic on road,, yeah let's all build some roads just for lorrys because some car drivers don't like being held up, utter drivel.,some people talk.,,ps that's sarcastic about building roads by the way just incase you Don't understand sarcasm.
@@paul8161 What makes you feel entitled to hold everyone down by literal minutes every time every time you want to enter dick measuring contest overtaking by 1MPH to save fractions of the second to your destination? Just sit the fffck down and drive in your lane.
Not to mention all the times when trucks pulls right int front of the cars approaching at much higher speeds and nearly killing everyone inside... only relying on drivers taking actions to avoid crash... And this is not some sort of rare occasion... single trip from London to Birmingham on A14 and there are dozen of such occurrences every time. And it is not like I am flying... 80 Indicated, probably 74MPH GPS... and truck-fckers literally cut in front meters in front of the car without giving any shit, sometimes even when I am literally by the side of the truck almost forcing me to the wall... and this is not exageration this happens multiple times every single time.
I guess my point - if truckers could overtake safely, wait for opportunity, make sure they are not holding literally 100s of the cars behind, then - fine go for it, but in UK truckers don't give a fck, they just cut in front and drive barely faster for miles causing major traffic jams. That is not okey. And then you expect some appreciation for your work?! WTF?!
#17 That’s not a smart motorway, that’s just a motorway with no hard shoulder.
#17 i watched it many times god willed everyone to be okay absolutely insane
Smart motorways are a joke dreamt up by people who don't care whether others live or die.
3:00 - Personally, unless I was turning, I wouldn't go anywhere near those trees with a high truck!
@0:30 - Even if it's private land, if the public have access to that land, then the Road Traffic Act applies. It's why you should never allow the police to fob you off if, say, someone has damaged your car whilst in a supermarket carpark. It's still an offense, as it would be on the public highway, and the police are still obliged to treat it as such.
AFAIK the Post Office don't even have insurance but have a multi-million pound bond set aside instead to cover any claims.
@@alanhood9675 Sounds about right - in effect they're acting as their own insurer.

Speed-ed? Someone actually thinks that's a word?
It might not sound very intellectual, but it’s definitely a real word. It’s a synonym of sped.
@@marklaw5116 speeded, perhaps. Speed-ed, not in the slightest. That you cannot see a difference is concerning.

@@marklaw5116 then you didn't watch the video and so have no business responding. Glad we cleared that up.
@@mydogeatspuke
I watched the whole video. But unlike you, I didn’t decide to memorise the captions. I didn’t find it necessary.
1:34 errrr wrong.
You absolutely can, and in fact should, stop if you cannot safely emerge. Just not halfway into lane 1. It is a give way. Ideally, leave space for accelerating if you do need to stop.
I have only ever had to do it once on a short slip road from a petrol station. Wasn’t a problem, just be patient and put your foot down when you get the chance.
#13 @5:08 Could technically have been safer to go around the lorry! Put foot down and get around the slow adjoining hazard, as opposed to slamming on! Can see potential car headlights far off coming toward, but plenty of time to go around and get back in lane.
It might have been possible to go around, but there’s no way it could be considered safer.
The lorry had already pulled out by the time the clip starts, so what happened prior to that? Did the cammer not react to the lorry pulling out so that they could make a situation out of it? Was there a bend so the emerging lorry wasn't visible to the cammer?
We’ll make a road rage
The way the guy starts climbing out in #12 I thought I was seeing the beginning of one of those clown car routines. Appropriate really.
Theres always one driver listening to Faithless - Insomnia in these videos.
No there isn't.
#2 - Mini was driving with absolutely no regard for any other vehicles, should have been completely on the left, being virtually on the right, sphere was a limited chance of seeing any hazard, regardless of the non-public nature of the track. Had a combine or large delivery vehicle been coming it might have been far worse.
#29 - Ah, Lucasz is back!
He's also in 9 I believe. Not his fault with the van pulling in but he nearly hit the one passing when he pulled out.
#19 🙂
jeez #17 was almost instant death
Clip 8 i would've sent in to the police. What a muppet
#2 both drivers are at fault. Joining a road and driving in reverse are both special maneuvers. Hence both drivers can take no liberties.
the post van being on private property too while it was reversing means the other car wasn't "joining a road" it was just on a private unmarked area.
3:27 white minibus is a wally trying to squeeze into the gap in front of the hgv that could potentially squash it,, then it really would be a minibus in every sence of the word. 🤦♂️🤷♂️😏
Still find it funny how you can drive on the road from 6:51 in Assetto Corsa lol
The first clip is an all too common event with drivers poor road positioning. There is a couple of roundabouts and turns near me where people fuck it up on daily basis, totally oblivious to anyone behind, teo lane roads and they park in the center blocking both lanes 🤦♂️
You never see the start of sone of these clips !! Is the person driving with the cam being a dick in the first place?
The HGV pulling out of a lay-by saw that there was no traffic behind you, so why didn`t you move over? This is why it`s so adversarial between cars and trucks, because no curtesy is given.
its clearly not a dual carriageway.
Why can't the HGV .... just .. wait
@menorahdarkness4877 they didn't,they apologised and everyone lived happily ever after apart from the drama queen cammer 😂
God forbid the HGV just waited.
Cause the road was not a dual carriageway, Martin.
@ 0:32 I've no sympathy for the driver of the Mini that hit the PO van. The mini driver had scads of room to position themselves so that they could see well into the road in the direction they were turning into and they were too lazy to do so. They have a whole car width to their left that they could have used, and bags of room before the exit to line themselves up obliquely to see well around the corner. Completely avoidable with just a little effort made to look better before proceeding.
4:26 Beautifully set up for a passing place but no. We'll just charge staight at this 3.5 ton van.
3:56,, someone's doing well with that clip of the blue car overtaking the tractor, i seen it on three videos on utube already 😂.
here in the states Dallas/Ft Worth and Salt Lake City and the whole state if Connecticut were the worse places for people speeding up on semis passing
4:21 funny how many cyclists will scream and shout when they don't get the 2 metre pass, but they will happily ride past a suitable passing spot, and come at you to squeeze through a tiny gap. Karma at it finest.
Difference is a car close passing can literally kill me while me close passing you will do fuck all

I don’t. I assume it’s an Audi or BMW driver driving exactly how they always do.
You're so lucky that you had a camera when that cyclist cooked up! Drivers are always to blame!
4:26 Proof that the shield of self-righteousness that some cyclists possess doesn't protect them.

@BladedFish yep ignore people like that there just sad and bitter. 😂
@@paul8161 Far from true and at least 'they' can spell.
Proof of nothing of the sort, nor is there proof that this cyclist carries such a thing.
3:13 if there is lots of space behind you I can understand your frustration. But if there is lots of traffic close behind you then you’re just being a w ⚓️ making it as hard as possible for the van to turn off… there was plenty of gap in front of you but you tried to make it as close as possible even though it was obvious they wanted to pull into that lane to turn off. And then you almost clip the other van in the right lane when you change lanes… scary how some people drive in HGVs
Scarey you honestly believe diving infront of a 40 tonne truck fully loaded with increased stopping distances is a clever idea,, it isn't..next time white van man with get himself and his passengers squashed if something goes wrong, hgv,s tend to squash cars like tin cans..unreal attitude .🤦♂️🤷♂️..I'm guessing you haven't seen hgv accidents they aren't pretty. the empty lane? It’s not a dual carriageway you muppet.
Because the road isn’t a dual carriageway, Paul.
“Oh look, a lorry is at the give way junction, let me just drive towards oncoming traffic because it doesn’t want to wait.” 🤦🏼♂️
You aren’t bright.
if you go to 05:07 put the speed at .5 or something you can see that there are headlights on the opposite side of the road coming toward the HGV, thats why he didnt go on the wrong side of the road to avoid the one pulling out when they should and could have just waited another minute at most.
@CMS-qo3wz ohh are you being a drama queen like the cammer I think you are..and the even sadder fact your serious and believe your self and your self importance.
One thing for sure - lorry drivers should be BANNED from ever leaving lane one, literally no matter the reason (except of obstacle on the road) they must NEVER leave the lane one, there is never any reason why they would need to overtake anyone, going literally 1 mile faster is not good enough reason to start overtaking and blocking traffic for several minutes.
😂😂😂,, yeah they would just be even later and probably miss the majority of there delivery's to keep the shelves stocked leading to empty shelves..nice one buddy real good intelligent thinking, not.🤦♂️🤷♂️
@@paul8161 Unlikely, 1MPH makes absolutelly no difference to supply chain, on top of that they have to stop for the rest in the designated places anyway, so it is just a matter of having that brake 1 minute later over 100s of miles. Then at the end you probably will wait at the depo for 2 hours until you can get unloaded... so it is nothing more than just idiot challenge who can outpull whom by 1MPH, not to mention I often see truck leap frogging each other, or the truck being overtaken starting to accelerate faster at time.
For cars overtaking makes sense, when one is travelling 10, 15, even 30 MPH faster and one can overtake in matter of seconds and then can move over to let faster traffic trough, that adds value to the traffic flow and society overall. the difference between traveling at average 65MPH from say London to Birmingham and average 80MPH adds to noticeable difference of about 21 minutes. Whereas trucks either way can't go faster than 60, so the difference at the end of journey between 58 or 59MPH will be maybe a minute.
So what makes you feel like you deserve to slow down EVERYNONE by 20 minutes so that you can go into your dick measuring contest for 15 minutes overtaking by 1MPH. I mean sure if you could overtake by 15 MPH and do it in second - GO FOR IT!, but if the speed difference is 1MPH just FFFCING DEAL with it, unless the road is absolutelly empty and you not slowing anyone down.
What happens in UK? motorways are absolutelly packed and you have trucks not only in second lane, but in third lane (which is illegal) and even in 4th lane... I shit you not I have it on dashcam the situation on M25 where there was truck in 1st lane doing maybe 55, being overtaken by the truck in 2nd lane doing 56, being overtaken by the truck in 3rd lane doing at 57 AND being overtaken by the FUCCCCCCING 8 axle crane in 4th lane doing 58!!! WTF?! I would punch every single truck driver unconscious if I could for this bullshittery on the roads.
At least truckers are the first bas*tar*ds to be replaced by AI and we don't need to deal with this nonsense for much longer.
Well, you're pathetic aren't you. I'm guessing you're an entitled German car driver who just sit in lane 3, 3 or 4! Either that or you are one of those morons that can't wait 2 minutes for anyone. Either way, your comment speaks volumes about you
I've said it repeatedly, little car drivers mostly have little cars because they're scared and really do not know how wide a car is, They buy little ones thinking it will be easier to judge - but they are useless to begin with - so not true. That first clip, prime example. Little Dinky Renault owner a foot further away form the parked car than needed, little Dinky Toyota driver again, no idea how wide the car is. Chances are reasonably hight that bare both are women drivers or are old drivers.

#11 Exactly why cyclists should have insurance
4:15 driver should have waited at the passing place, very poor. Whilst the cyclist didn't help themselves by riding far too close to the other rider, it was worse of the driver to push into the road narrowing when it was clear they would have forced the cyclists to take evasive action.
The cammer had already passed any possible passing places and there was one just ahead. The cyclists should have held back to allow the cammer to move over.
I hope he obtained the cyclist’s details so that he can make a claim for any damage to the car.
As a cyclist I can see here the cyclists are the ones that ballsed it up. The van driver passed the “passing place before the cyclists came into view. It’s the cyclist who should have waited for the van to pull into the passing place (exactly 2 meters from where he fell off. Can’t see how you can defend the cyclists here.
@@Thomo-ke8bz the cyclists were in view at the first passing place. Poor driving.
@@shm5547 you are not looking from from the POV of the driver but of the dashcam, that you now have re-watched several times. Therefore, you will have seen 4:19 is the last possible point for the van to pull in safely and 4:23 when the cyclists come into view. The cyclist at this point hadn’t even passed the passing point closest to them. At 4:27 Cyclist fell of his bike right next to the second passing place, but no, they didn’t even attempt to slow down, let alone stop. Common sense would suggest the cyclist slow down (not necessarily stop) and allow the van to pull into the passing place (where cyclist fell off). Big van coming down single track road, cyclist not paying attention… Poor cycling or attempted entitlement? Either way van stopped, cyclist didn’t.. cyclist at fault and fell over the bars. Maybe a harsh lesson on being more vigilant? 🤷♂️
@@Thomo-ke8bz sorry, but the driver has a greater duty of care here. They pushed into a road narrowing, forcing a vulnerable road user to take evasive action. Whilst the driver did stop, it was at the last minute. Very poor IMO.
