I think joining the Royal Australian Air Force is a very smart move. Bob will have many opportunities to fly a wide variety of fixed and rotating wing aircraft and meet like-minded people. Its a logical extension of his Scouting experience of being in uniform for a clear purpose.

@@robertbramley923 Good to hear from you Bob! Your story has positively touched many people. Some (like myself) who didn't know you, but had similar aviation interests as a youngster want to cheer you on, to feel that energy and to continue to follow your passions, which emerge in different forms as you develop your true interests.
Cheers from Chiang Mai, the home of Wing 41, where the Travel Air 2000 (OX-5) Model B _"Miss Siam"_ (originally built in Wichita Kansas, 1927) began her rebuild using the original 90 HP engine.
History records her as the first private aircraft in the Kingdom, and was flown solo from then Siam to China and return by her owner Mr Luen in 1932.
Mr Luen was also an inventor who developed ideas about the _"long tail boat"_ which is now ubiquitous throughout South East Asia, and a 3 wheel _tricycle_ which was in demand throughout Thailand for decades, and is still in use today.

Fantastic video! They should teach the importance of mental health in schools. Keep it up!
