  • Former tennis pro Louise Pleming was circling the globe as a tennis commentator and elite coach when her life took a dramatic turn. Subscribe: bit.ly/3nO2CDi
    Three years ago, she had a chance meeting with Brian Turton at the homeless shelter where she volunteered.
    Mental health issues had ended Brian’s hopes of a professional tennis career and he’d been living on the streets for years, estranged from his family and friends.
    Filmed over three years, this is an intimate portrait of a unique and life-changing friendship.

    Four things are concerning:
    1 He never takes responsibility for his behaviour;
    2 He appears to have little insight into his aggressive behaviour;
    3 There are inappropriate and insufficient boundaries between him and Ms Fleming;
    4 Such dependency on one individual can evolve into jealousy, possessiveness, and violence against the person, or those in their emotional network.
    Time for this man to be connected to other support people and services, and for Ms Fleming to be required to do some safe boundary training as part of the duty of care of the agency for whom she volunteers.

      You have no idea. I have known Brian for decades and still do. You do not know the full story and for you to hypothesise on here to inflate your ego only serves to show your narcisistic and egotistical bid for relevence. How does it feel to be judged by someone playing psych on Social Media? Get the message? 😉

      @@Meat12.5 I stumbled onto this video, there is no mention of Brian diagnosed condition, I had an Uncle in an almost parallel set of circumstances as brian but was never diagnosed with a mental health condition and was basically locked up by the local country police until his condition became manageable, it wasn't until after he passed away that I found out that he was Bipolar and unmedicated, which I didn't really understand until after being married for 3 years my wife had her first manic episode and I now have a massive understanding of Bipolar and Schizophrenia, there is no mention of who suffers or what we can do to help and understand how and what very intelligent people can suffer from intermittent conditions
