I’m surprised that no one is pointing out that she has lost weight many times in the past, and her face never got this slim and contoured before. She’s been thin in the past, but she ALWAYS retained a very round, youthful, chubby-ish face. That’s just her face - at whatever weight. She’s clearly done far more than she’s letting on.
Exactly. I've never seen Kelly with different size face. Her rounded face did make her look more youthful. She definitely looks older with new face shape.

Agreed! It’s super clear to me that she’s had jaw surgery! The shape she had before os 100% bone, it wasn’t chub. I have friends with the same structure, even when they’re super skinny. And buccal fat removal and brow lift for sure.

As someone who’s also lost a large amount of weight, please believe, it can change your face that dramatically. It’s especially true when someone had a very full face/neck prior to losing weight.
Actually.. I believe her. Obviously she does look very different in these pics, but when you see her in interviews, you see her features & she looks like herself- just much slimmer. Photos (& filters!) can be very deceiving.
The biggest change is definitely her jawline- which can make someone's whole face look very different.
Lastly, call me naive, but Kelly seems to be the type who'd be straight up & say 'ya, I hated this & this about my face so I had it fixed' Her mom sure isn't shy about the work she herself has had done lol! Again, maybe Im being naive, but I think she's being honest.
And her nose is different too.

I’m adopted and therefore don’t look like my family, but I always wonder if people who get this much work done ever miss seeing their parents looking back at them in the mirror once the parents are gone. I know I have missed seeing my features reflected back to me by my family and it’s made me feel alien at times. I find it interesting that most people take that for granted.
I love my face but I actually hate the features that remind me of my family. They were abusive so I would not want to see their "gifts" in my face. But thank my genes I have unique features different from them that I love.
Our reasons are different. As is everyone else's. I'm sure some people can get sad to see their mother's chin or something gone. Everyone has something the other wants but life is about appreciating what good we have. :)

Hope you are OK and have a loving adopted family. I never thought of that but it makes sense when you say it. If its any consolation I don't look like my biological parents at all. They weren't caring or attentive parents when I was growing up. Wishing you peace and happiness always.

Sometimes they get away with saying they’ve never had plastic surgery, which is technically true, but they have had, fillers, Botox, thread lifts or even fat transfer (Kim kardashian) and none of those things are considered surgical procedures, but they can drastically change your looks.

I was watching a movie with Cher and I thought it would be amazing to do an observation on her too! She has transformed so much over the years!
Wow!! I met her in Vancouver while walking out of the bank with my dog and I talked to her for a bit. This was around 2004 I think. She was already beautiful with the most gorgeous skin. I guess as long as she is happy, that’s what counts. She’s pretty in both photos, however I don’t think she needed anything done. I was astonished how beautiful someone could be in person! No photoshopping possible in person! I had to say hello because I liked her family’s reality series. She patted my dog and we went on our way.

If she was going for a more typical feminine look, then she probably did have something done to her jaw. If that's a real pic of you, you have cute big girly cheeks to go with your jaw, whereas hers was (still is IMO) a bit manly.

I had nose and lip fillers.
My nose is so long and big, it has always made me look like a witch, and I sometimes hated taking pictures with others because I hated how I looked near others.
My lips weren’t so bad but I guess I just wanted to look better.
Whenever someone asked me about lip filler, I just tell them that I had it.
Anyway no one, no one… told me anything about my nose, I guess they are scared of my reaction, but I wouldn’t mid to tell them that I feel so much better after filler.
Because they are ashamed. They want to be perceived as “ naturally beautiful”.

Getting Botox in your jaw muscles is a treatment for bruxism. (Clenching your jaw or grinding your teeth.) It forces your jaw to relax, so it can make the face less square.
100%. I clench my jaw and my masseters got huge so I started getting dysport injected like 3 years ago end the square jaw is gone

She’s always had a natural strong square face and jawline. Even when she first lost ton of weight, her face remained quite wide and square.
It’s beyond obvious she had jaw reduction, brow lift, a rhinoplasty, Botox and tons of fillers. She had the same jaw reduction as Khloe K since they had very similar strong squared jaws.

Hey Doc, wish you were here on the west coast. My doctor died unexpectedly some years ago, and I miss him very much. He was just the best.
As much as I like to support people doing what they need to do to feel confident, this makes me queazy. The idea that there is only one look that is "beautiful" is horrifying and destructive. She was a pretty girl in her own way. Now she looks like a generic instagram model.

Her eyelids are different, her lips are different, her chin is different, her jawbone is different, her hairline is way higher and with a different shape than before. All this was not done with a diet but with a scalpel.

I have a similar jaw to her but smaller. Had a similar weight-loss journey in the sense I had a drastic weight-loss. Im about 106 to 110 now but I was under 100 at 5"4 initially for a while after. It never went down like that infact it made it more prominent in some ways, yes my cheeks were less full and etc but the jaw was more angular, it didn't soften. She had work done.

Absolutely had work done to jawline, bone structure. The sharply squared jawline is her family genetics. It's quite transparent in her dad's and sister's face too. In their childhood pics. I've never seen weightloss change a person's bone structure. Highlight it or make it more prominent but never chisel it away!
@@nothing-jl2dz same here. I've always been thin, but I have a big square lower jaw bone. A lot of different dentists and orthodontists encouraged me to have surgery on it, even though it's fine. I'm glad I didn't because when I met my natural-born mother, she was able to tell me I have my dad's chin. I always wanted to know who I look like. Now that I know who my parents are, I'm so happy that I look like both of them.

I was always told I looked like Kelly Osbourne. I’ve had similar work done with Botox in the jaw and I didn’t believe it would change my face much but it has. It’s a lot more structured like Kelly’s “after” picture here.

im a nutritionist, and if you lose 50+ pounds, you will look like a different person, end of discussion. ive had many many many clients accused of plastic surgery after major weight loss.
i notice that when people have big weight loss and go from overweight to fit, they also tend to have a lot more confidence, and end up taking care of themselves better. for example bolder haircuts, bolder/better clothing style, new make up routines, etc.
its like they thought they looked bad before, so they didn't bother doing the small stuff, since, in their mind, it wouldnt make a difference in their appearance overall. once they are in shape they think all the small changes will make them go from good to great. ive had clients who were overweight, and get into very good shape, and a year later literally look like a different person. men and women, and without any surgeries. its amazing what weight loss combined with more confidence can do to a person's appearance.
oh and i find your comment very distasteful. its really terrible for someone to work so hard to lose weight, keep it off, and make themselves look better just to have people tear them down for it.
i see it all the time with my clients. friends and even family members who say "oh you were so unique before, now youre just average" or "i dont see why you bothered losing weight". meanwhile they were pre-diabetic, CRP off the charts, high trig & LDL, etc and they make a complete reversal, plus are actually happy with their appearance for the first time in their life, and yet are still torn down for it.

No matter how much weight you loose your jowls won't be contoured like that. Many do either lipo chin or things like Kybella. the buccal fat is the hardest to get rid of naturally.

The biggest difference is most definitely her jaw... there’s a significant reduction there... definitely masseter area. It’s just so unfortunate that celebrities and others don’t come clean with what they do. As they say, you are not ugly, you are broke!

@@NanoNekoGirl If someone filled their lips and they're living happily with those lips - good for them and none of our business. If someone filled their lips and then sells their lip kit or some suction device (which long term destroys the lips) pretending it's the effect of those products - that's called false advertising. Not only is it against the law in many countries, but it's potentially hazardous. And "common sense" is not a counter argument against false advertising. It's regulated by law for a reason - not everyone can see through the deception. And besides desperate or hopeful people will often rationalise less, when presented with some "miracle" for their problem.
I think nowadays many know at least 1 person who did some cosmtic enhancement. When they hide it, they probably have a good reason, and I don't mention it either. But if they would recommend some nonsense and claim that it's that stuff which changed their appearance, I would not feel guilty for speaking up.
And not even accounting for celebs who try to divert the attention by shaming the procedures or talking with disdain about them. Contributing to the still prevalent shame and taboo around cosmetic procedures.

Women whole face shape does not change with weight loss. Period.
No definitely just botox. Believe me i see this procedure done ALOT in korea cuz koreans tend to have more square jaws. It can alter your face shape if you have alot of muscle there which kelly clearly did. You can tell when a square jaw is due to muscle or bone... for kelly it was fat and muscle.
Not a great analysis. Both her and her mother had incredibly square jawlines, regardless of weight. Both of them have had their jaws narrowed immensely.

One of the differences is the first picture on the left is of Kelly Osbourne straight on. The picture on the right or she looks thinner her face is at an angle so you're not really seeing the same dimensions as if both pictures she was posed the same way. She's beautiful hands down a pretty pretty girl.
The tip of her nose has been lifted too. More 'Roman' before. This has created a subtle but definite change to her new look.
I noticed that too. It's not just the jaw. It's almost like every feature has been slightly altered

I read that she admitted to jaw reconstruction due to a medical issue. She’s definitely completely different looking and all other times she’s lost weight she always maintained a very full face until now. Also her nose is way more square.
So she admitted she got jaw reduction. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t for aesthetic reasons even though she said it was for medical reasons.
Yeah they all say it was "a medical issue". Surprisingly I've never met people in my life who did this, or rhinoplasty or anything else that changed their face "for medical reasons".
@@Vicinfi I’ve met people who have gotten nose surgery for medical reasons (usually breathing or to fix a previous injury that healed wrong) but it almost never completely changes the shape of the nose

My husband was ambushed by some crazy guy during the FARCE-Cough-2 madness and his jaw bone was fractured in 4 places; his surgery was absolutely necessary. But he looks no different now.
And what medical issue would that be? Never heard of medical issues with a broad jaw.
Just (March 2024) watched a video from some podcast with both her and her mom, and Kelly said she never had any plastic surgery, which her mother then confirmed. Kelly then said that if she had some procedures, she would’ve told, as she is not opposed to doing it, and don’t think it is something to hide. She would’ve been happy to share it if she had it.

OMG I haven't seen this woman for years. I don't live in the US so don't see her on TV etc very much, but I'm shocked. It looks NOTHING like her from what I remember. Wow sooooo much work. She looks like a completely different person.
We don't see her much in the US either. I also found her appearance shocking.
I hope Kelly is happy with her new look! I loved Kelly’s old look. She looked warm and had sparkly eyes. Now she does look beautiful but she looks cold.
if you look very closely Kelly's eye area is the same - a radical shift in make up application-:lack of thick black eyeliner as well as brow adjustment along with weight loss accounts for this.

I understand and am in favor of re-creating ourselves if we feel the need/urge/desire to do so, and she looks beautiful.

I had nose filler, nose is of the same dimension but it had made a MASSIVE change on my face.
I look sweeter, before the filler I had this big visible bump on my nose, I looked like a witch in my opinion. But many people who saw me after few years didn’t notice anything… Or maybe they just thought it was rude to ask me if I had something done. 😂

That’s also my biggest problem with surgery. How can you agree to surgery that completely transforms your face. I would have problems looking into the mirror.

I saw a video a long time ago where she said she had buccal fat removal for TMJ and it also made her jaw look thinner... it was some time before it became a trend. I can't find the video now.
Ive never see a huge transformation like that ever😳
