    It’s refreshing to see a celebrity who has had work done but hasn’t done anything that fundamentally changed their features. Jennifer’s procedures did a great job at refining her features and keeping her look good for her age. She never tried to perfect herself or make herself look 25 forever. But rather made her look the best she could and that’s why I think she looks so great.

      I have so much respect for her for not mutilating her face in a world where women are under so much pressure to do so. She is very smart and selective with her work and it shows. I think she is absolutely beautiful and has aged gracefully. When you love yourself, it will always show. In my opinion, she always look great, healthy, and confident.

      @lotus_dream Před rokem +34

      She still denied getting work done though (aside from nose job in early year), which is unfortunate. I don't know if she still does it now, but I remember back in the day circa maybe 2010-2013, she was on a talk show (maybe Ellen?) and she talk about how she never gotten any procedures done, and she brought up botox. According to her, she tried botox once and NEVER done it again bc she is an actor and she can't act w botox. I was a young and impressionable kid, and I ate up that shit... she has less work done than a lot of celeb but we should still trust none of these celeb when it comes to beauty.

      @@lotus_dream she's always been up front about it....mentioned her nose job numerous times, but has always maintained that she's been doing FACIAL EXERCISES and Facial MASSAGE for YEARS. I know from personal experience that these two practices, coupled with an overall healthy lifestyle, pretty much ELIMINATE the need for procedures....but you'll seldom (if ever) get ANYONE in the cosmetics industry to admit it---ESPECIALLY plastic surgeons. The bottom line is that facial muscles respond to proper/consistent exercise in EXACTLY the same manner as any other muscle group, period. It's both hilarious and pathetic how the masses are duped by the billion dollar cosmetics industry to believe otherwise.

    She has done something to her mouth the past few years. It doesn't move the same way it used to. Not sure if it's just filler, Botox, or maybe a mini lift that has stretched them out a bit. But you can definitely see a difference when she speaks versus a few years ago.

    She looks so incredibly similar as to her late teens, early 20s. She's so pretty and I love that she's had such minimal work done and whomever does her work, definitely does an amazing job . Lots of people who get fillers and implants and multiple, ever-changing rhinoplasty and facelifts, in the face, all look the same look and it all looks like they have too big of a face and they look like an alien to me. It's weird and off-putting. I love your videos...they are interesting , non judgmental and fun

    • @danc3693
      @danc3693 Před rokem +17

      I wouldn't call it minimal, but certainly not drastic or over the top either. I have thought for years she has had work because her face has not aged into the 50s in a natural way, IMO. I am 63 year old male and have women in my life to compare to as far as the aging process so that is my point of reference. Today, her skin has a plumped out look without the larger wrinkles -- that just does not occur when one ages naturally, especially for a caucasian woman. Dr. Gary knows better than anybody that our body's tissue thins out and loses elasticity as we age. I am not saying Jennifer Aniston looks bad by any means (I am a fan!) but she does not look like one who has aged naturally in the context of seeing her for decades. One might have a different impression if they saw her for the first time ever. It annoys me all the flak Courtney Cox received for her work -- nasty and unfair, IMO.

Its kinda like seeing an old high school friend... they look exactly the same to me lol. I'm 50 yr old and i don't guess age very well anyways... made mistakes guessing... not a good idea for me haha But Jennifer looks so youthful ... so much like she did on Friends...other people who try to defy age look so weird and big-faced to me, and Jennifer has never looked too far from normal Jennifer...and that's impressive too me. Ya Courtney got a lot of guff, and she looks so different than her youth, like hardly the same person. She never got that big-face thing, and she did look super puffy and wierd to me, not like Courtney from friends. A lot of fillers, botox and surgery just just looks so freaky to me. Maybe being of Greek heritage helps some, regular Caucasian females we are dealt the worst hand when it comes to aging, sadly. I spotted her chin/jaw change and nose change years ago. I had major lower jaw surgery in Jan. 1989 where my bottom jaw had bone removed and my chin moved backward. I have titanium plates in my jaw on both sides. I used to have a VERY pointy chin, but it's now not as "in your face". I also had to have major orthodontic work. I had inherited part of a lower protruding jaw, but not totally...so that my top teeth and bottom teeth were hitting on top of each other, which was causing bad damage. All of this was done inside my mouth, so there are no external scars. The upsetting thing is that in Oct. 1995 I had the first of 3 neck injuries that have left me with a headache ever since...seriously...24/7 since 1995 despite over a hundred doctors and healers. Due to the neck damage and muscle tension, my neck muscles have pulled my jaw/bite totally out of alignment again! I now have teeth damage anyway due to a wrong bite. SO FRUSTRATING!
    I do think Jennifer's teeth are hers. They look real to me. (I have a good eye.) I also commend her for not going overboard with plastic surgery and toxic fillers, etc. So many celebs have ruined their faces. Dr. Linkov I wish I had you as my plastic surgeon when as a young man in my early twenties about 40 years ago I underwent a rhinoplasty and chin implant.
    The rhinoplasty did result in a minor improvement in my nose profile and tip but It was not what I hoped for and I did come close to dying when the sutures in my nose dissolved a few days after surgery when I was recovering at home and I started hemorrhaging blood from my nose as I slept in bed (even though I kept my head well elevated as instructed!). Luckily I was literally one block from a major hospital (and my brother was staying with me) and I was rushed there by ambulance where they were able to pack my nose to stop the bleeding.
    But that was not was the worst part of my plastic surgery experience. What was a disaster was the silicon chin implant which was introduced intra-orally and which immediately became infected. Repeated visits to my surgeon to solve the infections did nothing to solve the problem.
    Eventually I became doctor-phobic and lived with this by now chronic condition (which I won't even begin to describe what it was like to live with) when about 20 years later the silicone implant somehow worked it's way out of my face actually exiting from below my chin not intra-orally which was surprising since that is how the chin implant was first place on my mandible! I still cant figure out how that happened but I still have the silicon implant somewhere as proof. As bad as that sounds it was a great day in my life because I no longer had to deal with the chronic infection of the chin implant although I would come to realize how many years of my life this botched surgery cost me.
    Esthetically the loss of the silicon chin implant didn't make any difference since I had for decades before adopted a goatee (which I still wear today) which helped mask my slightly recessed chin. The goatee did more for my looks than that damned chin implant!
    When I heard you recommend at 5:20 in the video that chin implants be done underneath the chin I thought "why didn't I have you as my plastic surgeon"! You probably would have done a better job on my nose as well.

      Yeh I agree she’s had a lot done, but it’s been done well. The comments here all saying she’s been conservative, i don’t think so, it’s that it’s subtle and well done

    • @Bubble170
      @Bubble170 Před rokem

      @@HkFinn83 for modern standards, this is pretty conservative. Her surgery basically kept her looking the same for as long as possible. It’s mostly anti ageing stuff, like Botox. But she’s also naturally very beautiful and was destined to age gracefully. You can see as he goes through the pics, no features change significantly, which is extremely conservative by modern standards.
      Even Marilyn Monroe changed her entire appearance with her surgeries.
      Maybe she remembers what happened to Jennifer Grey on the set of friends. The star of Dirty Dancing…no applause from the audience. Nobody recognised her. One of the most famous faces of the time, and nobody even realised it was her because of one single nose job. She was a guest star and received nothing from the audience. I’m not surprised she decided not to come back.
      I feel like that might’ve made a serious impression on Jennifer Aniston. Her face was extraordinarily famous and she wanted to keep it that way. And she has done it perfectly.

      She doesn't look all that different now than her younger days. She has aged, but still looks like Jennifer Aniston. Not the case with many celebrities these days.

    Dr Gary you’re amazing 🤩
    Would you please do a video on Botox and fillers as people age. Also, perhaps explain cheek implants in depth and what if people decide they don’t want them anymore … is there a reversal procedure that can be done ?

    Random but OMG she looks sooooo gorgeous in that photo when she was young with dark hair!! Wish she went back to dark hair at some point but at the age she is now it's probably best to stay lighter, though she could certainly still pull it off.

    Hi doc
    I've been looking everywhere in the internet for answers to my questions about the mobility of the tip of the nose after rhinoplasty. And if it's possible to recreate my old nose.
    Im 33 year old male and I've had my nose job that I now regret so badly 8 years ago. I modified the tip of my nose to look more pinched and also the bridge of the nose into something like a saddle. It looks kind of feminine now an I can't breathe properly.
    The most annoying thing now is that the tip is rotated upwards and so stiff that I can't move it like I used to before. I can't press my nose against the glass of a window like i used to when I was young. I want that back.
    Could you make a video about reconstructing the nose to look exactly like it used to look and aslo function like it used to.

    Can I just gave you a couple of suggestions for your next celebrities? Mr Brad Pitt and Harry Styles. The first one apparently showing great genetics on his hair too, even if some doubt he has never done anything cosmetically. The second shows evidence of hair loss for years now. Have fun, good job :)

    It's funny because I just watched an episode of quantum leap from the 80s and she was in it. I really wanna chalk it up to just being younger and her skin was more supple but there may be other factors that I'm not aware of. Kinda reminds me of how Demi Moore was when she was young and her face was fleshy

      When men and women are that young, most have a fuller faces -- sort of baby fat left over from the teenage years. That thins out as we age -- unless one gains significant weight.

      Have you ever had Botox or any fillers?
      I have. It’s not that exaggerated, can’t move a muscle in your face because it’s completely paralyzed or numb that people tend to think it is.
      I could move my entire face, the only change was that if I scrunched up my forehead, I had no lines going across. I looked bright eyed and bushy tailed, well rested and not exhausted like I had before.
      That was quite a while ago, and I haven’t had Botox or fillers in at least 15 years.
      Jennifer Anniston doesn’t look emotionless. She looks great.
      You want to see someone who has gone WAY TOO FAR, just look at Madonna these days. She’s has mangled her face and body beyond recognition.
      She’s 65 and she’s had so much obvious and terrible work done. She looks so bad that when she appeared on camera for about 30 seconds, the camera was pulled extremely far back from her so as not to reveal just how ridiculous she looks.
