To be fair famous people see their face about 10 times more than an average person would (not excusing it or agreeing) but seeing their face so much more than normal people probably would, and being broadcasted to people everywhere makes you more critical. I feel like this isn't gonna be on an average 27 year old woman's mind to want to look younger

I was so in shook when I saw her in season 3 and promoting season 3 of The Boyz. Erin was the epitome of natural beauty. So natural, so sweet, imperfectly perfect. So so sad. So sad.
I thought I was the only one who saw it bc I fig there's no way they'd allow her to change her face &weight to that degree w/o writing it into the show! 😆

Why do women that are naturally pretty/stunning have more insecurities than mediocre women?
She was so beautiful and looked younger than her years. Then almost over night she aged drastically. Nothing will convince me that it's simply natural ageing.

Yeah I noticed the buccal fat removal more than anything. She went from having this full doll-like face to looking underweight and hollow in the face. That procedure is the dumbest thing ever. I had regained some volume in my face that I thought was gone forever and I am thrilled. It took me putting on a few pounds but it's still lucky because weight doesn't necessarily go where you want it. Don't ever take that out before age does it for you. You will regret it.
Removing buccal fat is masculinization surgery. Why do some women (like Megan Fox and Erin) think it makes them look more attractive to have manlier facial features?

The full baby faces get so much hate but we get the last laugh once we're older. I'm 32 & look pretty much the same as I did at 19 😜. So🖕🏻to the girl that said I looked like a pufferfish in high school 🤣.

I thought they completely changed the actress. Wasn't sure if it was really her and need to check what was going on.
You can see on S3 of The Boys that they added a blur filter to her face in post production. Don't know if this was because something happened in the healing process, or if they wanted to try even out the stark change in her appearance but I think, unfortunately, it made it look even worse. I think the huge weight loss along with the surgeries made her look so different in such a short period of time, and I hope she's doing okay.
I know very little about plastic surgery but I do have over 20 years experience in Photoshop, and I can confirm that every closeup of her in season 3 of The Boys has been heavily edited to soften her skin texture. I can only hope that they did this so that when she sees herself on screen with her jade-tinted glasses she doesn't immediately book herself in for more surgery, and they aren't actively reinforcing her negative self image, either intentionally or unintentionally.

The Buccal Fat Removal is what is the most noticeable. She went from having fuller cheeks in Season 2 of The Boys to having super hollow cheekbones in Season 3.
Honestly she looks like Skeletor now. She was so naturally beautiful, and in this new season she looks like she’s gone through a few rounds of chemo and aged 10 years. Very sad.

Legit. I noticed too. I saw her beforehand in Jessica Jones and she looks unrecognizable by comparison and now she looks like a caricature of how she looked at the start of The Boys. It was very distracting and she’s gotta do what she’s gotta do and it’s her face, but I was SO SHOCKED that the studio even allowed her to do it while filming since it was so drastic!

@@ruby8994 i'm pretty sure that's mostly because she actually lost some weight. that's the biggest difference in her look, and the fuller cheeks she had before has the effect of making someone look younger.
I don't envy being someone immersed in hollyweird, where your perception becomes skewed because you become so incredibly hyper focused on your looks. It's far too common these days for younger actresses to alter their faces, in turn getting rid of the features that made them unique. When will people understand symmetry doesn't equate to beauty?

I think symmetry is important but a too too symmetrical face looks kind of disturbing and creepy. People who get surgery done very often remove some features that make them unique/cute and start looking like everybody else. There’s beauty and there is charm and those who have charm look more beautiful. But those people like to remove their charm.

@Ida people don't really tend to visibly age as adults much until their mid-to-late 30s or even later, depending upon genes/lifestyle/diet, so she's fine for a good while. the main thing that "aged" her is she lost her fuller cheeks, which gave her a more youthful appearance. she literally looks older because she lost a bit of weight, not because she might have gotten a minor nosejob and injections in her cheeks.

Although Dr Linkov sees the rhinoplasty as a success, I do not. Her nose now is far too small for her face. A nose should not be a focal point of someone's face but it also gives you a character. She looked better with a bigger nose.

in the thumbnail her expressions are different, the smile on the left probably caused her nostrils to flare somewhat. her nose is barely different, you're all exaggerating.
I don't think her nose looks bad now or before but I see what you're saying. Her face is broad enough/jawline strong enough to support a bigger nose & still look soft & harmonious. I don't see her rhinoplasty as a detraction or an improvement, just a neutral change.

she changed her face from round face to a more slimmer face, but what she doesn't know is that having a round face is actually best when it comes to aging really well. Those who have rounder faces with more fat in their cheeks are more likely to age the best.

@@userp67qjsbanwi she had more fat on her face and it was more rounded than what she has now. As you age your face loses volume so those who natural store more fat in the face still retains some of that volume so you look more youthful.

The irony of what her character stood for pushing a positive female message by not caving into the mold of society.
I someone has a wide face, getting surgery to make the nose narrower tend to make the face look wider, by contrast.
Also, people with square jawlines that remove their buccal fat tend to look even more gaunt than those with other face shapes.
Plastic surgery doesn't always improve one's looks. Perfect example.

My brother in law had a broken nose that healed a bit weird and my sister loves that about him. She says it gives him a distinct look and it suits his face. I think buddy looks a bit goofy and we joke about it but just goes to show beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I was shocked when I started watching S3 of The Boys. She looks gaunt and at least 10+ years older than before.

For me the biggest change from the start of the boys show is her losing a lot of weight when she was already tiny which makes her look more drawn in her face to me

@@Davey_Cakes yeah, she may not have lost weight on purpose though. For someone that small, even 5-10 pounds due to stress or illness or medication side effects can make a huge difference that would go unnoticed on a larger frame.
The other thing I noticed on the latest season was the AI blur filter used on her skin, she looked uncanny valley next to home lander because of this

I’ve had chronic migraine issues and have been on Botox as a routine, a maintenance treatment ever since I was right about around 18 and I get it done just about every 3 months. I get it all around head, neck and shoulders including masseter/ jaw (which those are your inside inner cheeks so think like almost a chipmunk lol). From what I’ve seen I think I may even actually get more than normal people do but I mean aside from that visual difference which tbh I don’t really even think about that, I would say it’s not really noticeable maybe aside from the slight increase of my resting bitch face lol but uh yeah i mean I just am thankful it has helped me and the pain tremendously the overall of my head, tho I still have a slight constant headache it is so much more manageable mostly in a swelling way like as it forces the muscles to calm a bit it like over time just truly had been a life saver, and I’ll forever be thankful
She was a cute, young lady, but that last picture her right nostril looks like it was pulling to the right whereas her left nostril looked more linear. It's really a shame that society does a number on people's psyches to stay perpetually young. The younger you are getting cosmetic surgery, the worse it's going to get when that person gets older. She isn't even 30 yet and she's gotten a few procedures already.
I mean a lot of these people start getting surgery in their teens. At least a nose job and lip filler by 20. So getting an overhaul just before 30 or just after is pretty normal its just that people are noticing more bc of these channels.

@@lauvasquez8030 I do agree that fillers give an inauthentic look to skin. It looks abnormal and doesn't seem to sit well within the face. Skin is our largest organ and working with skin isn't like working with paint. Too much manipulation can make one look unnatural.

I noticed something similar with gendered baby clothing. The past 20 years, as society has become more tolerant towards LGBTQetc, I noticed that it's become increasingly difficult to find baby clothing or accessories that are not either pink with cupcakes/fairies or blue with little tractors/race cars. 🤦♀️ People don't seem to practice what they preach 🤷🏻♀️

Immediately noticed the change in Season 3 of The Boys... As soon as she came on stream. I had a feeling she had a major eating disorder because she looked completely withered and her face looked like her body was essentially aging rapidly. Why tf do people do this? Ughhh...
I have huge cheeks. I’m taking chipmunk status 😂. I remember being really insecure about them in my teenage years and younger 20s. If I had the means, I probably would’ve gotten a buccal fat removal. But the older I get, it astonishes me how many people think I’m much younger than I actually am. I love my cheeks now. Point being, how we feel about our bodies changes over time. Nothing’s wrong with plastic surgery but atleast give yourself a chance to grow into your skin. ☺️
Having fat in your face is absolutely essential to looking young! I was born with a very thin, hollow face with little fat and people thought I was 25 when I was 18. Had fat grafting done in Korea, now I’m 26 and people think I’m 20. I’m envious of you chubby faced people! It’s cute and will keep you looking way younger for a long time.
Right??? This is what I have been saying to my friends!! You take the fat out of your face and you will add some years to yourself!! And then when you hit the age of 40, you will most likely look even older than you should.
I have very even filled cheeks but whenever I lose weight, they shrink and it's the first thing everyone notices. I even look like my mom 😬 cheeks are the key to facial youth.
Oh my gosh I thought my face was sooooo “fat” when I was younger. Now I look at those pictures and just see a youthful woman. It’s crazy how we perceive ourselves, and I think almost everyone deals with body dysmorphia to some effect now.

I know it has blown up since, with everyone piling on, but I do recall being absolutely taken aback by her appearance in Season 3 of The Boys. I immediately thought she must have an eating disorder or had undergone significant plastic surgery, and it was shocking to see such a difference. She was SO beautiful before, and it's just so sad to see... We need to address the fact that we live in a society that promotes this, even when a woman is naturally so beautiful.

The problem is those of us that have baby faces like her always look younger which is great if your an older actress playing a younger role. So she probably got talked into getting surgery to look more like a sexy woman, which is sad. Her face was beautiful. Examples are: Katie Holmes and selena gomez.
She didn't have that issue also she had a raspy voice and could do sexy too. She ahd cute face selena on the other hand looks very young like 13-14.

I seen this video and had to watch, I honestly thought she was sick throughout the boys. This is kinda worse given the results. She looked so healthy and pretty in season 1 then slowly turned into a Rhinoplasty experiment.

Hollywood is cracked. Everyone is trying to look EXACTLY the same now. She was naturally a beautiful girl. I don't like what she did. It really sets a terrible example to young women and women in general, too. I was in a modeling and talent agency as a young teen. I ended up developing body dysmorphia from that place. It was like no matter how pretty you were, you could always look better, through plastic surgery. Ugh. It's a hollow reality. I'm glad I didnt follow through and left when I did.

I noticed that too. She had cute young "chipmunk" face. Then the last season she looked more gaunt and I noticed her nose was a lot smaller and so was her jaw.
it was also v odd in the first ep of s3 they almost tried hide her face for when she was introduced, like I remember her being shrouded in shadow way too long then boom. made her change even more surprising
I didn’t watch all the seasons back to back, yet when I saw the new one I was still shocked that she looked so different…she didn’t need the buccal fat removal at all!

It’s interesting how many people have these procedures done when what they were born with gave their faces more character. Especially their noses. It’s like they all want “perfection” but perfection is kinda boring.
What’s sad is that even “perfection” isn’t enough because what’s perfect in society is always changing. It’s an expensive slippery slope for many and in the end, they all just kinda look the same. It is, indeed, boring.

I used to think her face was perfect. She had a very nice nose even if her nostrils weren’t symmetrical. No one’s face is 💯 symmetrical. Her asymmetry wasn’t noticeable unless you were looking for it. As long as she’s happy and it’s what she wants. I don’t understand the buccal fat removal, doesn’t having buccal fat give people a more youthful look instead of being hollowed out and gaunt.

While I totally agree her lateral cheek filler helped to balance the width of her jaw, in that specific "after" picture her chin really does look quite a bit smaller than before. That being said, it could just be the angle of the picture or even photoshop. Thanks for this break down. You always do a great job. 😊👌

When I look at her from the start of "Boys" I was so puzzled, I thought photoshoped people can't exist in a real world. So, as the video went by, I was even more impressed of how she ACTUALLY looked like photoshoped doll without having had done any plastic surgery. She is insanely gorgeous, I feel angry she had to go through all of this. Imagine being perfect and still being forced to do plastic surgery.
She wasn't forced to do it. It was her own decision. And a bad one if you ask me.

The first season of Bosys she was stunningly beautiful and cute. In the third season, it is hard to look at her. Why someone would ruin her own face like this? What the hell is wrong with people doing these kinds of things. Make no sense.
Where are the ethics. She looked perfect and very young even at 29. Her surgeon should have said .”I can’t help you you’re perfect”. Come back when you’re 50. She looks 15 years older.
I’m also seeing weight loss as a possibility. Like the classic gaunt eating disorder look.
She has some hair loss I can see. She has lost almost all her facial fat. With a dehydrated complexion

Definitely anorexic. And if you've seen her recent interviews and insta videos you can tell something is up. She slurs and seems very "slow". It's like she's on heavy antidepressants. She also seems to be drinking alot so pills + alcohol might explain her demeanour.

I was wondering what had happened to her between the seasons. i barely even recognized her. My explanation was some sort of disease taking a heavy toll on her body, but that didn't explain why she suddenly felt so hollywood aged in such a short amount of time. Guess that explains it. A bit sad since she plays a character with the willpower to withstand peer pressure... but eh , maybe this is something she always wanted and she's happier now.
The plastic surgeon responsible must be laughing his ass off for managing to milk money out of a beautifull young woman and setting yet another on the path to become a madonna-like lizard a few decades down the line.
Imagine walking to this kind of "doctor" who is starting to tell you that your lips are 0.9 you have almost a hunchback on your nose, the left side of your jaw is more prevalent etc... but at the end of the day, he will receive a paycheck right? so that what matters the most
Although I do like watching these videos and am not a stranger to filler and botox {at 60 it's basically to not look worn and tired}, I can't help but wonder, can you imagine if people would focus on being better people, embracing and admiring our individuality and glowing with inner confidence rather than striving for a perfect generic look? We'd live in a completely different world! At least if there was a happy medium! Social media and Hollywood standards is the new norm young people will be seeking only to wake up one day and realize the empty hole has still not been filled! We need more role models who refuse to succumb to those standards!

Part of me wonders if she wants to look older because she's dating Antony who is in his 40s (it hasn't been confirmed but they hang out all the time, their dogs are always together, he's following her dad on Instagram, and Aya posted a video where she said she was visiting Erin and Antony-its pretty obvious).
