  • A short review of Tamiya's, classic, 1/35 scale, Wehrmacht Mounted Infantry figure set, Ki No. 35053, re-released during the 1980's (specific year not known), originally released in 1975, under Kit No. MM153, (Note that the sprues in this kit are all copyrighted 1975).
This older style Tamiya kit, comes in white plastic, and include parts and accessories for 2 Wehrmacht figures, one standing, and one riding, as well as a nicely rendered figure of a standing horse. The rider figure has optional arm poses, either looking through binoculars, or resting against the horse, holding the reins. Also included in the kit, is a section of thin plastic card that can be used to create the reins themselves and other pieces of the horses equipment. No decals are included in the kit, and, being an older Tamiya kit, there are no colour call outs during assembly. Includes a "Back of Box" painting guide for both figures and horse.

Nice one Pete, I started this kit a couple of years ago but as I'm world famous for putting things in "safe places" I can't find the bloody box or instructions so I had no idea what colour the saddle blanket was. Pete to the rescue yet again!
