One thing, Larissa, in her note back to you 6 months ago, forgot to give you a big thumbs up for the maps you show us along the way. It is really great having the maps at several times during the trip to remind us of where we are. For example really liked 👍 when you showed us where the Sweden/Norway border was with the bold red line.

Very enjoyable. I do, so much, love the vids you are producing. Here in New Zealand, we turn wagons or locomotives on a turntable. There is no other word for it here. Just a "turntable".

Thanks for talking to us throughout the journey, explaining everything. Better than captions that distract from the views. Hearing your voice adds an engaging personal touch that is lacking in most of the videos of this kind out there. Seems like Norwegians are in general very amiable people because they are more likely to add this aspect to their videos or they are instinctively more aware what people like and are ready to indulge the audience. Either way, it's much appreciated! 🤩✨👍🏻
Many thanks also for the drone shots, they definitely make your videos so much more enticing. We encounter lots of lovely lake/river-views mixed with the autumn colours of the countryside. 🤗😍

It went to Årjäng and down to Mellerud, to Vänerbanan/Norgebanan. It was sadly closed in 1986 down to Årjäng. Årjäng - Bengtsfors is the track in use for Dresin cycling and Bengtsfors - Mellerud still trains are in action. Fun facts and thank you for this video! Congrats for 1000 Subs.

Funny with things being on the left in Sweden. In two track situations the trains drive on the "left" track, only in Sweden and UK (AFAIK). It's a throwback to the 60's when the cars used to drive on the left, but when they switched to driving on the right, obviously didn't need to follow the rules. Though I find it strange that the trains drive on the "left" in Sweden, especially when coming across the Øresunds bridge... they drive on the right from Denmark but then switch over on approach to Malmø, I think. Weird but interesting.

Yes as Dieselmanmatt says it's a turntable. you mention the anti-spin system. In the UK we call it wheel slip.we passed a junction just before we reached a lake. just past that junction was a tunnel and as we exited the tunnel there was a bit of line to the right lower down the bank toward the lake ending in a buffer stop. With no obvious connection to the main running line. I wonder where that came from? The Volvo factory we passed to the right had a rail connection but it doesn't look well used or even used at all. does much traffic come out of there anymore? which I would be disappointed given Sweden's green credentials.
